Theatre-Theatre as compared to film and literature

Theatre: Theatre as compared to film and literature

Im going to compare theatre to film and literature. There are some seally big differences between thatre and film or literature. Firstly the main difference between literature and theatre is that if you read a book, you have to imagine the whole image in your head and thus everybody sees one thing differently, but in theatre you have a real live picture in front of you. Also in books the feelings, thoughts and emotions are described better than in theatre performances. Secondly, in theatre performances you can only see one stage and one place but in movies the situations are depicted in various places, for example on streets and other places, which can not be depicted on a stage so easily. In addition to that, in books all the situations are decribed in very small details and that is a really big advantage of reading books. In movies and thatre all situations are generalized and short. In my opinion it is the best thing about books and because of that, i quite like reading.

Brooks's integration of rock elements into his recordings and live performances made him very popular and allowed him to dominate the country music. Troubled by conflicts between career and family, in 2001 Brooks officially retired from recording and performing. To sum up, it can be said that both artists are very popular. It is played by the American Drama Group Europe. This is a theatre group that travels around the world, so people can see many different plays and performances in English. Jack's friend Algernon lives in London but, vice versa, likes to get away from the urbanism. Both of them fall in love with a woman, but the two men make a mistake, they lie about their name. It was hard to focus on the play, because of a girl who was sitting in the last row. She was laughing at all times, although the play had only a few humorous lines worth laughing. If you go to a theatre and you find the play boring, sit quietly and have some respect for other people. I really don't like plays where they cut down on the number of actors. Every actor should have only one role, so that they don't get their lines mixed and to really live into their character. Fortunately the performances were rather convincing. Also it is better to watch when the stage is decorated. In this particular show they used only the most neccessary things. It made the stage look amateurish and cheap. If you haven't read the book yet, and if you get the chance, go see it. If nothing else, it still makes you acquainted to the legendary and well-known story of Oliver Twist. The play could have been a lot better but it was nevertheless enjoyable.

for jears. His only escape is to start faking the bipolarity. He gets into a psychiatric hospital, where he spends most horrible days of his live taking medicines that he actually does not need. The deadline was coming closer and he has to send his documents to the Art Academy, but he can not not leave the hospital. Hannah does it for him. I liked the film, because it had emotionaaly really stong influece and the viewer was always kept in suspense. What I liked most of all was the actors’ performances. Jaanika Arum is a skilled actress, her role in this movie was probably the most difficult one, and she did her best, playing with her emotions so skillfully that I often got the impression that I was watching a real person with bipolarity. Some of the film scenes were quite violent and I could feel the trepidation at times when the characters communicated with each other with aggression. Visually, the movie is enjoyable

The bridge is over 50 m long. It has been rebuilt many times over the years, last time in 1995. The Viljandi Order Castle Order Castle was started in 1224 by the Order of the Sword in place of an earlier wooden one. This stronghold became the residence of a politically and economically influential komtuur. The castle of this stronghold was largest in Old Livonia. Due to damages during different wars the stronghold now lies in ruins. These days our theatre "Ugala" gives open air performances on Kaevumägi in the ruins. Every summer a grand Folk Music Festival takes place here. In Estonia everyone knows the song of a boatman rowing on Lake Viljandi. From the castle ruins the most beautiful view opens on the lake and its surroundings . History In 1211 the hill-fort of the estonians in viljandi was besieged by a joint army of germans, latvians, and livs. In 1283 the town received a charter from villekinus de endorpe, the master of the order.
