It is disappointing, but true that, there is no tradition in England of eating in restaurants, because the food doesn't lend itself to such preparation. English cooking is found at home. So it is difficult to a good English restaurant with a reasonable prices. In most cities in Britain you'll find Indian, Chinese, French and Italian restaurants. In London you'll also find Indonesian, Mexican, Greek... Cynics will say that this is because English have no "cuisine" themselves, but this is not quite the true. Vocabulary: to criticize - tasteless overcooked - ingredient - to invent - sauces - to disguise - spice herb - delicious - disappointing - to lend cuisine British Youth (2) Most 18 and 19 year-olds in Britain are quite independent people. English people say that children grow up more quickly now. Relationships within the British family are different now. Children have more freedom to make their own decisions.

Bill and I went to St. Kitts last summer and it was great . It's a small, quiet island that hasn't been overrun by tourism yet so you can really get a feel for the local culture. You can hop over to other islands too, because there are boats leaving St. Kitts every few hours. If St. Kitts is too quiet, You can go and party in St. Martin. Happy to give you the number of my travel agent if you're interested. Give me a ring so we can have a chat about it. spotless limo tinted windows. I was flushed and my gray eyes were overly bright. I'd seen that look on my face before-in the bathroom mirror just before I went to bed with a man. It was my I'm-ready-to-fuck look and it had absolutely no business being on my face now. Christ. Get a grip. Five minutes with Mr. Dark and Dangerous, and I was filled with an edgy, restless energy. I could still feel the pull of him, the inexplicable urge to go back inside where he was. I could make the argument that I hadn't finished what I'd come to the Crossfire to do, but I knew I'd kick myself for it later. How many times was I going to make an ass of myself in one day? "Enough," I scolded myself under my breath. "Moving on." Horns blared as one cab darted in front of another with only inches to spare and then slammed

didn't matter. All that mattered was the effect. And tomorrow would be just the beginning. I didn't sleep well that night, even after I was done crying. The constant whooshing of the rain and wind across the roof wouldn't fade into the background. I pulled the faded old quilt over my head, and later added the pillow, too. But I couldn't fall asleep until after midnight, when the rain finally settled into a quieter drizzle. Thick fog was all I could see out my window in the morning, and I could feel the claustrophobia creeping up on me. You could never see the sky here; it was like a cage. Breakfast with Charlie was a quiet event. He wished me good luck at school. I thanked him, knowing his hope was wasted. Good luck tended to avoid me. Charlie left first, off to the police station that was his wife and family. After he left, I sat at the old square oak table in one of the three unmatching chairs and examined his small kitchen, with its dark paneled walls, bright yellow cabinets, and white

changed in the other direction. Celebrities and their visual fashion statements affect the fashion industry and also the clothes of teenagers. “Researchers say that many teenagers are emulating celebrity idols like Mischa Barton, Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff, and Chris Martin (the singer of Coldplay), some scarcely out of their teens themselves, to cultivate an impression of maturity” Young people and fashion occupy an important place in modern society. Both of these concepts are quite complex and interesting to explore, and they both are components of the culture as a whole. Fashion today permeates all spheres of life. Youth is the group to which it is directed mainly. This is understandable - the young people - the most active, creative part of the population. Fashion is dynamic - it is constantly changing. This also reflects the needs and interests of young people. 3

Friendship

Friendship Friends are a very important part of most people's lives. Research shows that having quality relationships increases your likelihood of being happy - so it's good for your happiness to be a great friend and to have a group of close friends surrounding you too. A good friend might be someone who's there to provide support when times are tough, or someone you can rely on to celebrate a special moment with you. Friends might come and go in our life, they might make us laugh and cry, but most importantly they love us for who we are. It doesn't matter what a person looks like or what kind of clothes they wear, but it's what's on the inside that counts. It's the actions they take, no matter how big or small, to show us how much of a good friend they are, and being there for us no matter what, even when things get rough. Friends are always there for us,

Brands are...

People also buy brands, because they guarantee the high quality of product. On the other hand, today you never can be 100% sure in quality and originality even if you buy product of market leader. Also, after a good brand launch, there is a large probability that someone besides you will buy something from the new collection and if you are living in a small town, there is a chance that you can face a number of people wearing the same outfit or having the same item as you. I also think that the frequency of how a particular brand is being bought by other people depends on society and advertisement of that brand. Considering an example of product placement: if your favorite actor is using a Sony computer, this would certainly affect your choice in the store. So it means that you do not always buy the required or desired object. Therefore, we can say that, this is not really you but "branded" you. It is very sad, but

Shopping in my life

Shopping in my life I like shopping with my friends. I buy clothes once a month with my friends, usually on Saturdays. Sometimes I shop with some member of my family for example with my mother. My mum can give me some good advises. When I buy new clothes, I look for quality clothes, which last longer. My tastes aren't very expensive and I'm not exactly into brand names. I usually buy clothes in Terranova. I spend quite a lot, but I always think carefully before I buy something because my family doesn't have much money to waste. I always go to the sales. When I need some money, I ask my dad or mum and they give me some. I don't have my own credit card but my dad has one. I love fashion clothes. I like jeans, sweat shirts and tops. I wear them every day at school and my favourite colours are pink and purple. I enjoy buying clothes very much. I always have fun shopping experience. Usually I spend a very little
