· Wishes are for lazy people who can't get up and make their dreams come true on their own. Make it happen! · It's easy to say something, but it's harder to mean it. · Distance isn't a big factor in a relationship. Communication is. But most of all, commitment is the biggest. · A broken heart can hurt but it's the memories that kill you. · Every girl deserves to be treated with respect and not to be lied to or cheated on. · Remember, you need to open your eyes before opening your mouth! · When people start telling you you've changed, it's actually because you've just stopped living life THEIR way. · In life, shit happens, so forget about the past, and make the best of the future! · If you don't understand my silence, how do you understand my words? · Karma exists, good or bad. Karma comes in any ways. It may not come today but it WILL someday.

The real thing, it's coming, it's going to hit us and it's going to hit us hard. Nothing is going to be the same. Life will never ever be as simple, carefree and easygoing again. To me, the expression "life is hard" has never meant anything. I have always been more of a "life is beautiful"-type. I have never really thought that it actually is hard. Mostly because I have never thought what the real life is like. Ofcourse I have seen it, it's all around me, but only seeing and seeing plus thinking through what you see are two really different things. An example: have you ever been to a funeral of a collateral relative as a child? Do you remember what you felt? I remember I felt almost nothing and I never cried. When someone died, for example a granduncle, I didn't feel particularly sad, because as long as it wasn't anyone close to me, the death didn't influence my life in any way. Now a few weeks back my

"Career and Employment" Homereading

But Kate Hilpern discovers that plenty of help is at hand Some of the jobs that career changers are most keen to break into PR and teaching, among them are the very same jobs that people are queuing to get out of, says John Lees, author of How to Get a Job You'll Love and Take Control of Your Career. Many of us get to the point, whether in our twenties, thirties, forties or fifties where we decide to change careers. Some of us will make radical changes, while others will move to the edge of their comfort zone, perhaps shifting from acupuncturist to homeopath or PR office to journalist. But the key to making the right decision, says Lees, is to bring your dream back down to life with a hard thump. "I always say to people, 'Find out what you will actually be doing in the job of your dreams. What does the nitty-gritty day-to- day work involve?'" Conversely, he says, people should not be put off by their dreams. "If you did a straw poll

Having children while young

Having children while young In my opinion, having children while young is a bad thing, but there are some good thing also. It's a bad thing, because you can't finish school on time. Another point is that you don't have enough money to support the baby. Diapers are very expensive. You are not as experienced in the world, less wise so not only less wisdom to pass on to the kids, but less wisdom on effectively raising your children. You can't enjoy your young and single life, because you have do nurture your child. On the plus side you are much more energetic than some older parents. You will be younger when they grow up and move out, giving you more freedom earlier on. You will see more of their lives before you pass on. For example, many of my friend got a child when they were still in school and they are happy about the baby but also they are so sad because they dropped put of school to raise their kid.

If you end up with boring, miserable life because you listened to your mom, your dad, your teacher, your priest, or some gut on television telling you how to do your shit, then you DESERVE it. - Frank Zappa *It's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring. - Marilyn Monroe *I love the feeling when you smile at me, or even just look at me, because I know that I've crossed your mind. Even just for a second - Anonymous You know, one day you look at the person and you see something more than you did the night before. Like a switch has been flicked somewhere. learn to stick up for themselves. But bullying can make young people feel lonely, unhappy and frightened. Young people who bully are more likely than those who don't bully to skip school and drop out of school. They are also more likely to smoke, drink alcohol and get into fights. It scares some people so much that they skip school. As many as students may stay home on any given day because they're afraid of being bullied. It downgrades students marks and makes an awful inside pain. What is more children who bully are more likely to get into fights, vandalize property, and drop out of school. If I see that someone is being bullied Im always going to try to stop it. Sometimes the best thing you can do for a person who is being bullied is just to be there for him or her and be a friend. Whether this means agreeing to walk home with him or her after school, sitting with him or her on the bus or at lunch, trying to include him or her in your school

Diplomat

Diplomat Diplomat's job isn't that easy. You have to be well educated. Knowledge in languages have to be high and you have to speak the language very well if not fluently. Everytime you change country, it is required to know basic things about it, like language, history, differences and so many other important things. In Estonia you can learn how to be a diplomat in Diplomatic School. It is very difficult to get in because every year they accept only around 30 students. You have to be flexible in your working hours because probably with the job you have to attend a lot of meetings or gatherings in the evenings. Conditions might be different

Chapter 17 Chapter 38 Chapter 58 Chapter 18 Chapter 39 Chapter 59 Chapter 19 Chapter 40 Chapter 60 Chapter 20 Chapter 41 Chapter 61 Chapter 21 Chapter 42 Chapter 1 It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife. However little known the feelings or views of such a man may be on his first entering a neighbourhood, this truth is so well fixed in the minds of the surrounding families, that he is considered the rightful property of some one or other of their daughters. "My dear Mr. Bennet," said his lady to him one day, "have you heard that Netherfield Park is let at last?" Mr. Bennet replied that he had not. "But it is," returned she; "for Mrs. Long has just been here, and she told me all about it." Mr

Chat rooms

The first and most important thing you need to realize about the Internet is that you can find anything and anyone on the Internet that you can find in the real world. The only difference is that in the Internet you have a greater deal of anonymity that you get in the real world. Can chat rooms be dangerous? Most definitely. Particularly channels that clearly are catering to younger children. Pedophiles go where the kids are, and that is just as true on the Internet as in the "real world". Does that mean you should avoid all chat channels? Not at all. Just be aware of what you are doing and saying, and if you have small children, be sure to monitor their activity on the Internet. There are several programs, as I recall, that allow parents to track what their children are seeing and doing while on-line. One of the biggest threats on chat rooms is the presence of pedophiles, online

English people say that children grow up more quickly now. Relationships within the British family are different now. Children have more freedom to make their own decisions. For example, children aged 13 may be employed part time in Great Britain. Age 15 is legally a "young person" not a "child". Age 16 is a school leaving age. sleep. The number of hours we sleep we need depend on our age. Young babies sleep for 20-22 hours each day, whereas older people often need only 6-7 hours. 2.1 Early hospitals The earliest known institutions aiming to provide cure were Egyptian temples. In ancient times temples dedicated to the gods of healing used to have a hospital area. Sick people came there to pray and be treated. Later in the Middle Ages hospitals attached to monasteries were run by monks and nuns. The oldest hospital still in existence is in Paris. It was founded in 800's A.D. In the 1700's European cities began to build hospitals. They were charity hospitals for the poor and sick, as the rich people were treated at home. The early hospitals were dark, crowded and very dirty, so it was very likely to be infected even more, when you went to be cured. The first hospital in Estonia was the hospital of Saint John, first mentioned in 1237. It was for the people who had leprosy. 2.2 Recent developments

Of all the things you wear, your expression is the most important." "Smile! If you can't lift the corners, let the middle sag." This is a quote from a dear old friend of mine, Leo Daniel: "Keep a smile on your face and let your personality be your autograph." "What's the use of worrying? It never was worth while, so pack up your troubles in your old kit- bag, and smile, smile, smile." SMILE, God loves you! Would you like to improve your face value? SMILE! It works every time! "We should head to a bar and celebrate." I wasn't surprised by my roommate's emphatic pronouncement. Cary Taylor found excuses to celebrate, no matter how small and inconsequential. I'd always considered it part of his charm. "I'm sure drinking the night before starting a new job is a bad idea." "Come on, Eva." Cary sat on our new living room floor amid a half-dozen moving boxes and flashed his winning smile. We'd been unpacking for days, yet he still looked amazing. Leanly built, dark-haired, and green-eyed, Cary was a man who rarely looked anything less than absolutely gorgeous on any day of his life. I might have resented that if he hadn't been the dearest person on earth to me. "I'm not talking about a bender," he insisted. "Just a glass of wine or two. We can hit a happy hour and be in by eight." "I don't know if I'll make it back in time." I gestured at my yoga pants and fitted workout tank

Edulugude võistlus

To begin with, my childhood was quite ordinary, I spent a lot of time in my country home, spending most of my time playing. I have been raised by my mother. As I grew older, I got more and more interested in different things. At one point it occured to me that when I want to be successful in some field, then I really have to educate myself in that filed. When my friends have characterised me then they have mainly mentioned that I am an active person, who has been successful in different fields. I still do not think I am succesful because it is a really complicated definition, but I know that I have succeeded in doing several things. For me the key is my so called success has been that when dealing with a particular thing I have tried to delve into the subject as deep as possible. Firstly, when we are talking about success and asking the question who is a succesful person, we have to understand that success means various things for different persons. The main question is

channels of communication. Messages are ambiguous. But a notable feature of the early years of the 21st century is the fact that the body language of different nations is gradually becoming more similar. Thus, a gesture made by someone in (say) South America can often be easily interpreted by people in Russia or Japan. Much of this is due to the effects of TV, which of course shows the same sort of `soap operas' in all parts of the globe. Words and body language If a child is to believe the parents who say that it's healthy to go to bed early, it usually doesn't make much sense unless the parents express it with both words and body language. Otherwise, the child may get the impression that it is only good for the parents that the child is put to bed early. It is important to remember that, although body language does give you an additional channel of communication, which sometimes contradicts the spoken word, it should be interpreted with care
