My perfect room

My perfect room My perfect room would be spacious. On the wall would be white wallpaper with light pink flowers. There would be a wooden floor with some fluffy carpets and a massive bed with a soft fluffy duvet wrapped in white, freshly washed 100% cotton covers. There would be a big fireplace with a beautiful painting on the wooden mantelpiece. An overstuffed cosy armchair with a soft blanket would be in front of the fireplace and a big cupboard would be next to the bed. There would be no technology because I would like there to be some peace and silence.

vegetables had not been washed. I found pieces of dirt on the lettuce leaves. Then, I was served a really tasteless steak. It was tough and chewy. I called the waiter to bring me new steak. After waiting, the waiter finally came and gave me a new steak. To my astonishment, it was as bad as the first one. As if that was not bad enough, when I decided to eat my apple pie, I found out that it was stale and dry. Once again, I called waiter, but he claimed that it had been freshly made that morning. As you can imagine, I was extremely upset by the treatment I received and I will certainly not visit your restaurant again. I hope that in future you will take care of these mistakes in order to prevent them Yours faithfully, Name

An insipid, thin brew lacking in body and flavour will result. Over Extraction occurs when the water is in contact with the ground coffee for too long and too much of the coffee soluble are extracted than is desirable. A harsh tasting bitter brew will result. Freshness Coffee is best enjoyed as soon as it has been brewed. Oxygen in the atmosphere causes the taste to rapidly deteriorate and the beverage loses its aromatic oils and may soon become sour, flat and lifeless. Freshly brewed coffee should be consumed within 30 minutes if left on a hotplate and should never be reheated. The quality of the brewed coffee beverage will depend on several factors, all of which are important to produce the perfect cup of coffee: 1) Grind size of the coffee 2) Quantity of coffee used 3) Water quality 4) Water temperature 5) Contact (infusion) time 6) Type of brewing method used 7) Hygiene and cleaning practices * Grind size:

Now-a-days a typical English breakfast is more likely a bowl of cereals, a slice of toast, orange juice and a cup of coffee. They have Afternoon Tea (the traditional 4 o’clock tea). This is a small meal, not a drink. Traditionally it consists of tea (or coffee) served with either of the following: freshly baked scones served with cream and jam (known as a cream tea), afternoon tea sandwiches - thinly sliced cucumber sandwiches with the crusts cut off, and assorted pastries. However it’s not common nowadays because most of the people have to work at that time. There is also High Tea (the traditional 6 o’clock tea). This is the meal that British working population had instead of Afternoon Tea. High tea combined delicious sweet foods, such as

On the 20 th June of 1789 the freshly assembled Parliament was not able to enter the Versaille and therefore they gathered in a ballroom, where they swore an oath to stay together until a new constitution has been made. David believed the painting to be so big and detailed that it would take at least 4 years to complete it. Unfortunately, the political situation changed really quickly and radically, that he only managed to do some sketches. Overall, in the 18 th century historical representations in art

'" Anna leaves, laden with shame and guilt. She knows she's running from Vronsky, but she also knows she doesn't want to return to her husband. This haunts her. At one of the train stops, she needs to step outside for air to clear her head of guilt. Instead of a clean conscience, her head is filled with the sharp sounds of a worker hammering on the metal tracks. When Anna arrives at the St. Petersburg station she immediately sees her husband. She feels freshly guilty for not appreciating his devotion. Nonetheless, she immediately begins to notice all of her husband's physical imperfections. She compares him to Vronsky. Up until now, nothing sexual has happened between Anna and Vronsky--if she has cheated on her husband, then it has only been in her heart. Yet the moments of tension and surprise are building between her and Vronsky. Something major is bound to happen, and it is becoming rather clear to her now that she needs to leave

In a study conducted in Texas, for instance, researchers arranged for a 31-year-old man to violate the law by crossing the street against the traffic light on a variety of occasions. In half of the cases, he was dressed in a freshly pressed busi- ness suit and tie; on the other occasions, he wore a work shirt and trousers. This is fortunate, since Cassia is what is most often found at co ee shops and restaurants if you ask for "cinnamon." I found Saigon cinnamon to be most e ective, with Cassia in close second place and Ceylon in much further third place. In terms of reducing glycemic response, I found the following, from largest to smallest e ect, effective: 1. Get freshly ground cinnamon or grind it yourself. If you, like me, have a bachelor-special spice rack that's three years old, toss it and get new raw materials. The polyphenols and active ingredients degrade over time and with air exposure. 2. Learn how to spot species. Unfortunately, U.S. packagers are not legally required to specify the type of cinnamon species on the label. Not sure which raw "cinnamon" sticks are Cassia? They will roll up from both sides, like a scroll
