Presentation about enviroment Good afternoon everyone. First, let me introduce myself. My name is Valter and I am a student of Tallinn University of Technology. I'd like to talk about environment, its pollution and protecting. I shall only take 3 minutes of your time. Let me begin with the word enviroment and what it means! It means surroundings in which people, animals and plants exist. These are the things that we need, to be alive, but they are also many man-made things and technical progresses that harm the nature. Therefore we can´t live on this planet without basic components which are needed for human existence - air, water and soil. Firstly air, which is mostly a mixture of oxygen and nitrogen. People, animals and plants can ´t live without air. Without oxygen there would be no fire
Simple and small ways affect the enviroment for the better Everyone can do something for the enviroment. All of us should do something, because enviroment is very important to people. Our planet is changing and we need to help it change for the better. One way how to help the enviroment is saving energy. You should switch off anything, that uses electricity. If you’re not using it, then turn it off, it’s simple. This goes for lights, televisions and so on. Also try unplugging if possible, because even when an appliance is turned off, it still may use power. You could switch your light bulbs to LED light bulbs, because these are using less energy and even last longer. If you use renewable energy sources, you won’t cause burning fossil fuels, that causes pollution.
So how to avoid the worst? Lets talk about cars, which are the main means of transport in our everyday life, they are useful and take us to the place, where we want to go. But lets be honest, they have also negative aspects. Like heavy traffic in the morning, while you are going to work and in the evening, when you are about to go home. Cars also, like factories, produce poisoned gas in the air. So instead of cars, we should use public transport or a bike, in the name of our enviroment. And what about the factories? Well, we can't remove them from the planet, but they should be built in places, where is less forest and no cities near. Water pollution Secondly, water pollution is also a main issue. Many peole throw rubbish in rivers and lakes. Ships at the sea cause oil problems, where oil flows in the water and causes a lot of
enviromental problems. The main object of environmental protection is to provide everybody wtih a healthy environment and natural reources without causing damage to nature. The other goal of protection is to preserve biodiversity. Estonian National Enviromental Strategy has made many principles to protect environment. The first one means that we have to think not only about ourselves, but also about future generation, because they want to live in clean enviroment. The second principle means that nature is common welth and concern of the population. Next principle means that every country has to take part is solving global and regional environmental problems. Another principle means that everybody has to cooparate to solv problems within their sphere of influence. The fifth principle means that everybody must be awarned of enviromental development and problems and solving them.
Especially if the day before there was a lot of learning for the examination. Family may have a greater effect on young people. The death of a loved one, sick family member and relationship problems can lead to being under negative pressure. What is more, stressed youth are pessimistic and in a long period of time it becomes unhealthy. One of the ways to handle stress is doing what I love, such as taking pictures of nature. Doing activity like this includes walking and being in healthy enviroment. This is a good way to ignore stress. Another way to cope with stress is good time managment. Making work on time is a relief for everyone. To sum up, school and home are the main reasons of negative stress. There are many ways to cope with it. I believe that being under physical or mental pressure isn’t good for our health and we have to reduce it.

Among wellknown Australian fauna are the monotremes (the platypus and echidna); a host of marsupials,

Why no t to purc has e a hybrid? · Even tho hybrids seem to be the solution to "go green"and save the enviroment, its a long way from it. · Hybrids are not zero-emisson vehicles. · High tech parts use various rare alloys and metals. · Batteries use nickel which travels 10000 miles before manufactured into a battery. · High tech parts need to be recycled separetly.(2 motors, alloys, computer parts) · Batteries can still oppose a treat to life in the case of a car accident. · Producing a hybrid takes more energy than the car can save during its lifetime.
The newest generation of computer applications for learning uses these computer advantages to help students do much more complex problems than they otherwise could. Researchers have noticed that computers improve our critical thinking skills, student collaboration, performing real-life tasks and performing complex tasks. And furthermore, computers are becoming more and more important for our studies, since they are used writing essays, researching and for learning more about our enviroment. Besides using computers for our studies and educational purposes, computers are also quite useful for our amusement. About 10 years ago, there was no other way to watch new movies but in cinema. Nowadays we can watch them at home - on the web. We can download or watch streaming movies and that for a small fee. Ofcourse there ar ways to get them for free, but that is piracy, which is illegal. But our entertainment possibilities does not end with movies. Not at all

Windowsi operatsioonisüsteemis saab GIMP keelt muuta järgmiselt (GIMP on võimalik muuta kasvõi poolakeelseks): Windows XP puhul minge Start-menüü alt: Control Panel/System/ Advanced/ kausta. Seejärel vajutage "System Variables" alal olevale nupule "Enviroment". Siia tuleb luua uus lihtne käsklus. Vajutage nupule "Add" ning sisestage "Name" väljale "LANG" ja "Value" väljale soovitud keele lühend. Inglise keele puhul on selleks "eng".vajutage "OK" ja GIMP on inglisekeelne. Windows 7 puhul on nupud mõnevõrra teistmoodi tähistatud, kuid loogika jääb samaks: Start- menüü alt: Control Panel/System/ Advanced System Settings/ Seejärel ülevalt vaheleht "Advanced" ning vajutage vahelehe all olevale nupule "Enviroment Variables"
