The Museum was opened in 1958 in the Village of Vetepere, in the house where Anton Hansen Tammsaare, the most famous literature classic of Estonia, was born. The complex comprises a dwelling house, barn and farm including a barn, cattleshed and cottagers' buildings. In these buildings the lifestyle of the times of "Tõde ja Õigus" ("the Truth and the Right") is being exhibited. In the former dwelling house there is an exhibition reflecting the life and creative work of the writer. In summer different events take place; the openair theatre performances are especially popular. From the Museum hiking tracks lead into the countryside of Kõrvemaa.

But whether is it always such modest opportunities enough good for everyone to be happy with their life? If you choose to be settled on land, you should consider some of the disadvantages, but don't have to disappoint for the advantages. There are many advantages of living in the countryside. First of all, you can always enjoy your privacy, there are few city noise and inquisitive passerby, who usually do not go there. In most of cases, country house is built on a large area, which is still a dwelling house in addition to other buildings, such as a sauna or a barn. Great yard for children are convenient and good for playing, also there is suitable to grow some animals and keep pets. There is clean and fresh air, forest is very close, where people can go hiking or just simply walk and enjoy the nature. Home-grown vegetables and root vegetables are always more acceptable than a shop bought food. Living in the country is certainly cheaper.

distorted during centuries. 9 30 Lai Street The first reports of a small house date back to the 15th century. In 1495 the house became Hans Pawels house. Hans Pawels was the organizer of St Olaf's curch's Mary's Chapel's works. In the 18th century the house was rebuilt into a granary, but the two old adjacending doorways were retained in the southern part of the house. Thus, the building lost the characteristics of a dwelling house façade and interior. The current interior has been simplified. Some of the medieval residential structures still remain: furnace parts, traces of the old ceilings, niches, etc. Along with 28 Lai Street it forms Healthcare Museum. 38 Lai Street The house on 38 Lai Street deserves attention as "Mr Eggers house (well known Baltic German merchant and industrialist), where the singing society "Estonia" (established in 1865) rented rooms in 1870. instrument called a lyre. There are 2 species of lyrebird, the superb lyrebird, about the size of a rooster, and Albert's lyrebird, which is the smaller of the species. Lyrebirds have mostly brown feathers and although they have wings, they don't often fly. They move about in the forests, running and jumping quickly on their short legs. They have four claws on each leg. At night they roost in trees. Lyrebirds are a protected species. The koala is a small bear-like, tree-dwelling, herbivorous marsupial which averages about 9kg in weight. Its fur is thick and usually grey. The koala gets its name from an ancient Aboriginal word meaning "no drink" because it receives over 90% of its hydration from the Eucalyptus leaves (also known as gum leaves) it eats, and only drinks when ill or times when there is not enough moisture in the leaves (during droughts etc.). speaking intuitively within us (Emerson). The transcendentalists felt called upon to resist the "vulgar prosperity of the barbarian"; believed firmly in democracy, and insisted on an intense individualism. Some of the extremists in their number went so far as to evolve a system of dietetics and to rule out coffee, wine and tobacco all on the basis that the body was the temple of the soul and that for the tenant's sake it was well to keep the dwelling undefiled. And most of the transcendentalists were by nature reformers, though Emerson, - the most vocal interpreter of the group refused to go so far in this direction as, for instance, Bronson Alcott. Emerson's position here is that it is man's responsibility to be "a brave and upright man, who must find or cut a straight path to everything excellent in the earth, and not only go honourably himself, but make it easier for all who follow him to go in honor and with benefit
years ago by crossing a land bridge formed between Siberia and Alaska during the last ice age. It is believed that the ancestors of Canadian Inuit were inland hunters who adapted their lifestyle to new conditions. Some of them lived near the coast and began to hunt seals and walruses. Their main diet consisted of marine mammals and fish. Others never went to sea but hunted game in nearby areas. The traditional dwelling where the Inuit lived used to be an igloo, which is a domeshaped house built out of blocks of ice. The Inuit traveled in a sledge pulled by dogs and their main weapon was the harpoon. For many centuries, the Canadian Inuit lived in nearly total isolation. Only at the beginning of the 19th century were they more permanent trading relations with whale hunters and fur merchants. Nowadays, the majority of the Inuit live in some 28 remote communities scattered
permanently. Thomas’s mooring was an exception amongst the participants and begs the question of how long his exit from lifestyle travel will last. Indeed, the hypermobility of lifestyle travel became so internally entrenched in this study’s participants that staying in a fixed and singly bounded notion of home was a rarely attained ideal. Germann Molz (2008) explores the idea of ‘home-on-the-move’, in which the closest travellers come to finding a sense of home is through dwelling in movement, by being at home on the road. Despite the tensions of longing for a single place to settle down, the present research indicates that lifestyle travellers inevitably move again and it is in this way that travel becomes a way of life. 13 CONCLUSION Several authors have theorised that for a small number of backpacker tourists,

The Undiscovered Continent Academic Suzanne Juhasz considers that Dickinson saw the mind and spirit as tangible visitable places and that for much of her life she lived within them. Often, this intensely private place is referred to as the "undiscovered continent" and the "landscape of the spirit" and embellished with nature imagery. At other times, the imagery is darker and forbidding--castles or prisons, complete with corridors and rooms--to create a dwelling place of "oneself" where one resides with one's other selves.[149] An example that brings together many of these ideas is: "Me from Myself to banish / Had I Art / Impregnable my Fortress / Unto All Heart / But since myself--assault Me / How have I peace / Except by subjugating / Consciousness. / And since We're mutual Monarch / How this be / Except by Abdication / Me of Me?". I do not mean, however, to assert that we can be justified in devoting too much of our time to music, for there are certainly other things to be attended to. The rector of a parish has much to do. In the first place, he must make such an agreement for tithes as may be beneficial to himself and not offensive to his patron. He must write his own sermons; and the time that remains will not be too much for his parish duties, and the care and improvement of his dwelling, which he cannot be excused from making as comfortable as possible. And I do not think it of light importance that he should have attentive and conciliatory manners towards everybody, especially towards those to whom he owes his preferment. I cannot acquit him of that duty; nor could I think well of the man who should omit an occasion of testifying his respect towards anybody connected with the family." And with a bow to Mr. Darcy, he

laenu tagasimakse suurem parema energiatõhususarvu korral. 303 16 Conclusions Wooden apartment buildings have been constructed in Estonian towns throughout time; a typical Estonian neighbourhood in the 19th and beginning of the 20th century was often a suburb with primarily wooden construction. Thus our people are used to wooden apartment buildings and in the near future these buildings will not disappear from our dwelling stock/reserve. Wooden apartment buildings with their individual scale and intimacy offer interesting opportunities to establish a unique home in many modern towns. Today we consider old wooden apartment buildings to be an important part of our cultural heritage. Every year adds more value and dignity to these old dwellings. True, a respectful attitude to wooden architecture is only a phenomenon of the last couple of decades.
traditionalists. Such unbound individualism, not being decisive in any way, was willy- nilly directed against Estonian art heritage. Due to the sharpening political situation, a turn to symbolic and realistic style with growing interest towards the Far East cultures can be seen: Kaljo Põllu’s (b. 1934) graphic series Kodalased (Ancient Dwellers, 1973-1976) illustrated the primitive life of the Finno-Ugric tribes, back to their dwelling place in the ancient past. As for the experiments of Estonian avant-garde, their homage and adoration for the Western buffoonery may seem childish play without any real relevance. The “traditional” art aesthetics remained firmly in their place and was expressed diversely in painting (portrait, nude, landscape, interior) by Olev Subbi, Leili Muuga (b. 1922), Enn Põldroos (b. 1933) and several elder masters. Estonian theatre of this decade may be characterised as casting light on the
because it strengthens their identity. Because of the human tendency to perpetuate old emotion, almost everyone carries in his or her energy filed an accumulation of old emotional pain, which I call “the pain-body.” We can, however, stop adding to the pin-body that we already have. We can learn to break the habit of accumulating and perpetuating old emotion by flapping our wings, metaphorically speaking, and refrain from mentally dwelling on the past, regardless of whether something happened yesterday or thirty years ago. We can learn not to keep situations or events alive in our minds, but to return our attention continuously to the pristine, timeless present moment rather than be caught up in mental movie-making. Our very Presence then becomes our identity, rather than our thoughts and emotions. Nothing ever happened in the past that can prevent you from being
These are temporary roadblocks, usually overcome by the urgency of the quest. 108 REFUSAL OF THE C A L L PERSISTENT REFUSAL LEADS T O T R A G E D Y Persistent Refusal of the Call can be disastrous. In the Bible, Lot's wife is turned to a pillar of salt for denying God's Call to leave her home in S o d o m and never look back. Looking backward, dwelling in the past, and denying reality are forms of Refusal. Continued denial of a high Calling is one o f the marks of a tragic hero. At the beginning of Red River, Tom Dunson refuses a Call to an adventure of the heart and begins a slide into almost certain doom. H e continues to refuse Calls to open his heart, and is on the path of a tragic hero. It's only when he finally accepts the Call in Act Three that he is redeemed and spared the tragic hero's fate. the knowledge of the chancery officials. . . . The originals in both cases were burned by Magnus and the ashes scattered. Both dispatches were kept in an absolutely secure steel safe, procured especially for the purpose and installed in the chancery building, in Magnus' bedroom, up to the time when they were burned." Three days later, he sent in his reserves: "Greater caution than is always exercised here would be impossible. The text of telegrams which have arrived is read to me at night in my dwelling house by Magnus, in a low voice. My servant, who does not understand German, sleeps in an annex. . . . Here there can be no question of carbon copies or waste paper." The shrieks of hilarity that this occasioned Hall, Page, and Room 40 were not heard in Berlin. Its last doubts swept away by the low voice, the steel safe, the scattered ashes, and the non-German-speaking servant, the Foreign Office capitulated.
