The obstacle can very easily be even the language. If you don't know or understand the language of the country, it can be very tricky to live on. But in good will, learning the language isn't very hard, unless you're learning Chinese symbols. The threat of terrorism may get worse as the result of multiculturalism. Many people can also choose the wrong path, so they may become criminals and murderers. As well there may arise problems, disagreements and opposite opinions about racism. Multiculturalism is good and beneficial, when it when it doesn't destroy the country's own traditions, habits and of course people. In that way, multiculturalism is useful and developing society !
actually keep peace. Why then is it so important? Firstly, when there is peace, people are happy. Friendly relations with neighbours and different countries give people an oppurtunity to live normal lives. However, for example, when there are some tensions between two countries, the people of those countries would live in constant fear and threat. Secondly, violence is not acceptable in any form or situation. I think that when there are disagreements between some countries, they should try to solve them verbally. It is natural that we don`t all agree with everything, but a certain level of acceptance and understanding must be reachable with words. Luckily, there are more and more international peace organizations that help acheive and maintain peace. They are doing everything that they can to keep the world from destroying itself. In Conclusion, there have been thousands of battles and wars all over the world.
The light from the Sun reaches us and after that the light reflexes from the Earth's surface back to the space, but thanks to the pollution, it absorbs and reflexes back to us again, causing global warming. The third problem is the fastly growing population. There are now more than 7 milliard people in the world and the number is still getting bigger. That leads us to the overcrowded cities, poverty and hunger. The recession causes the unemployment and different disagreements. To prevent that and much more, what may come in the future, we must think more about the environment and the people and animals, whose living in it. There are many campaigns about the recycling and reproducing, like "Teeme ära" and many others. We have to sort the packages and bottles we buy and help ourselves in that way, because we don't want our children to grow up in pollution and bad environment. We should bring that subject up way more, than we do these days. So help the
The Romantic Age. Began in the 18th century. There are some disagreements about when the period began so we can't say the exact year of the beginning. Characteristics of Romantic age: The Romantic Age is a term used to describe life and literature in England in the late eighteenth and early nineteenth centuries. -Imagination was very important Like William Blake an English poet has said "I know that this world is a World of Imagination and Vision" -Belief and appreciating nature

interests, practices, norms, or procedures are rightful declines to the point where [the actor or institution] must either adapt ... or face disempowerment'. In the immediate aftermath of the Cold War, as the UNSC became more active, questions regarding its legitimacy tended to focus upon its failure adequately to represent a UN membership which had almost quadrupled since the organization's founding (Fassbender, 1998; Morris, 2000). However, as disagreements between the P-5 emerged over the Kosovo crisis in 19981999, and even more significantly in relation to Iraq in 2003, this debate was overshadowed by one regarding the criteria to be applied in determining the acceptable bounds within which states may have recourse to the use of force. It is an exploration of these issues, and the fundamental bearing that they have on the UNSC's legitimacy, that forms the principal focus of this article. The first of these harbours
After the show went off the air, the cast reunited in 2002 to film what they believed would be the conclusion of Jackass: a full-length motion picture version of the show entitled Jackass: The Movie. The cast made it clear that the film was their "farewell" to the fans of the show, and with the franchise taking the movie format, the cast and crew were now allowed to circumvent the censors, showing more vulgar stunts than the ones featured on the TV show. [8] Despite earlier disagreements, MTV Films assisted in the movie's distribution. The movie, filmed on a budget of just $5 million, went on to gross over $60 million in the United States alone, and finished in the number 1 spot at the box office during its debut weekend. Jackass: Number two With the release of Jackass: The Movie, director Jeff Tremaine and the rest of the Jackass cast believed that Jackass was finished and there would be no further projects under the franchise. However, during the final season of Wildboyz,

" The Wailers' first album, Catch A Fire, was released worldwide in 1973, and sold well. It was followed a year later by Burnin', which included the songs "Get Up, Stand Up" and "I Shot The Sheriff". Eric Clapton made a hit cover of "I Shot the Sheriff" in 1974, raising Marley's international profile. The Wailers broke up in 1974 with each of the three main members going on to pursue solo careers. The reason for the breakup is shrouded in conjecture; some believe that there were disagreements amongst Livingston, McIntosh, and Marley concerning performances, while others claim that Livingston and McIntosh simply preferred solo work. McIntosh began recording under the name Peter Tosh, and Livingston continued as Bunny Wailer. Bob Marley & The Wailers Despite the breakup, Marley continued recording as "Bob Marley & The Wailers". His new backing band included brothers Carlton and Aston "Family Man" Barrett on drums and bass
establish the reliability of hadith, a topic which had been a locus of dispute among Islamic scholars. Philosophers Ibn Sina (Avicenna) and Al-Farabi sought to incorporate Greek principles into Islamic theology, while others like the 11th century theologian Abu Hamid al-Ghazzali argued against them and ultimately prevailed. Sufism became a full-fledged movement that had moved towards mysticism and away from its ascetic roots, while Shi'ism split due to disagreements over the succession of Imams. The spread of the Islamic dominion induced hostility among medieval ecclesiastical Christian authors who saw Islam as an adversary in the light of the large numbers of new Muslim converts. This opposition resulted in polemical treatises which depicted Islam as the religion of the antichrist and of Muslims as libidinous and subhuman. Córdoba, the largest Muslim city of the world in 1000, was home to about half a million people
dismissed). But the irony lies in traditional model of governmental jobs, that was meant to be long term and stable. If motivation lies on monetary incentives it may give base for corruption. Another negative side with pay-for performance is that it causes competition between employees. This in turn, reduces cooperation, unity and solidarity. It may affect other tasks and bigger projects where everyone has to work together for a same goal. Differences and disagreements may cause more harm than pay-for performance can bring. And it may ruin the working culture for a long time period. It has been said that competition in public sector is not healthy. One big problem with pay-for performance is the evaluation. In public sector there are many different tasks some that are measurable and others not that easily measurable. This aspect makes it hard to tell which employee performs better than the other. So it may affect how servants respond to this system
tribute to Lincoln and also to the effect and influence of his powerful oratory. Reconstruction era After the Civil War, Douglass held several important political positions. He served as President of the Reconstruction-era Freedman's Savings Bank; as marshal of the District of Columbia; as minister-resident and consul-general to the Republic of Haiti (1889 1891); and as chargé d'affaires for the Dominican Republic. After two years, he resigned from his ambassadorship because of disagreements with U.S. government policy. In 1872, he moved to Washington, D.C., after his house on South Avenue in Rochester, New York burned down -- arson was suspected. Also lost was a complete issue of The North Star. In 1868, Douglass supported the presidential campaign of Ulysses S. Grant. The Klan Act and the Enforcement Act were signed into law by President Grant. Grant used their provisions vigorously, suspending habeas corpus in South Carolina and sending troops
totalitarian single-party systems is the fact that dominant parties can still occur within democratic countries where other political parties are tolerated and allowed to operate in a more or less free political landscape. It is just because of the overwhelmingly strong opponent, that other parties do not have the chance of winning the elections. Nevertheless, the circumstances under which a dominant party establishes vary considerably from country to country. Despite the existing disagreements over the context, scholars have listed many common features that all dominant parties should share. First, a party should receive majority of votes in order to be considered as dominant. Secondly, it should have a dominant bargaining position to exert influence over other parties when necessary. Thirdly, a dominant party should be in power over a considerable period of time. Finally, a party should be dominant governmentally in order to shape the public policy agenda (Basedau 2005: 2).
Five Pillars of Islam, which are five duties that unite Muslims into a community. In addition to the Five Pillars, Islamic law (sharia) has developed a tradition of rulings that touch on virtually all aspects of life and society. This tradition encompasses everything from practical matters like dietary laws and banking to warfare. Almost all Muslims belong to one of two major denominations, the Sunni and Shi'a. The schism developed in the late 7th century following disagreements over the religious and political leadership of the Muslim community. Roughly 85 percent of Muslims are Sunni and 15 percent are Shi'a. Islam is the predominant religion throughout the Middle East, as well as in parts of Africa and Asia. Large communities are also found in China, the Balkan Peninsula in Eastern Europe and Russia. There are also large Muslim immigrant communities in other parts of the world such as Western Europe. About 20 percent of Muslims live in Arab countries.

he also ruled the lands south of Anjou. His empire stretched from the Scottish border to the Pyrenees. England provided most of its wealth, but the heart was Anjou. Henry II began to regain royal control. During the war some barons had become very powerful. He pulled down some of their castles. He tried to restore law & order. He wanted the same kind of justice to be used everywhere. He appointed his own judges to travel around the country. They dealt with crimes & disagreements over poverty. Serious offences were tried in the king's court. At first they had no special knowledge or training. They were trusted to use common sense. By the end of the 12th cent. They had real knowledge & experience of the law which became known as ,,common law", based on custom, comparison, previous cases & decisions. It was unlike in the rest of Europe. In England trial by ,,ordeal" was replaced with trial by jury. The work of juries gradually

Robert Peter "Robbie" Williams (born 13 February 1974, Stoke-on-Trent) is a multi-BRIT Award-winning English singer, songwriter, actor, and musician. His career started in 1990, at the age of 16, as a dancer and singer with the pop band Take That. After many disagreements with the management and certain group members, Williams left the group in 1995 to launch his solo career. was asked to return and become King Charles II. 18. The Restoration. Restoration, in English history, is the reestablishment of the monarchy on the accession (1660) of Charles II after the collapse of the Commonwealth (see under commonwealth) and the Protectorate. The term is often used to refer to the entire period from 1660 to the fall of James II in 1688. 19. The Whigs and Tories. Within Parliament, the tensions and disagreements of the Civil War and its aftermath were echoed in the formation of two vaguely opposed, loose collections of allies. One group, the Whigs, were the political “descendants” of the parliamentarians. They supported the Protestant values of hard work and economic efficiency, were sympathetic to dissenters and believed in government by monarchy and aristocracy together. The other group, the Tories, had a greater respect for the
and unhappy. People who are building a good life for themselves and their families are not at fault because other people are not. Success does not cause failure. Correlation is not causation. Be- cause both situations occur simultaneously, this does not mean that one caused the other. An honest acceptance of this simple fact would solve many arguments and disagreements at the philosophi- cal and political levels. ■ THE POWER OF FORGIVENESS The root cause of negative emotions, the main factor that predis- poses a person to blaming and to anger and resentment, fear and doubt, envy and jealousy, is the inability to forgive someone we feel has hurt us in some way. ccc_tracy_2_18-39.qxd 6/23/03 2:46 PM Page 32 32 ➤ CHANGE YOUR THINKING, CHANGE YOUR LIFE
entailing another: "Harold is fat and Ben is stupid" entails "Ben is stupid." (There is joint entailment too: "Grannie is either in the holding cell or in court already" and "Grannie is not in the holding cell" together entail "Grannie is in court already," even though neither sentence alone entails that.) There are more exotic meaning facts as well. For example, some disputes or alleged disputes are merely verbal or "only semantic," unlike substantive disagreements over fact. X and Y do not disagree about what actually hap- pened; they dispute only over whether what happened counts as a "so-and-so." Onlookers say, "Oh, they're just talking past each other." (That happens a lot in philosophy.) In stating the foregoing meaning facts, I have at least half-heartedly tried to avoid "reification" of things called meanings; that is, talking about "mean- ings" as if they were individual things like shoes or socks. I have talked of
