The Fear of Choosing The Wrong Major in University People have to make a lot of choices throughout their lifetime. One of the biggest choices a person has to make is to choose what they are going to study after high school. Many students decide to acquire vocational education and they have to choose which profession to pursue, whether it be, for example, learning to become a technician or a hairdresser. However, a bigger majority of teenagers decide to go to university. But before doing so, teenagers have to be certain what kind of study program they will be taking. This puts young people under a lot of stress, because they have a lot of doubt and fear. For example, over the years, there has been an increase of people, who have decided to study Information Technology in University, including myself. The increase has been due to the immense labor shortage in Estonia and the high salaries students will be...
To: Ms Johanson From: Mari Mets Subject: The factors Estonian students consider important when choosing a job Introduction The aim of this report is to analyse the results of two surveys into the information about which factors Estonian students consider important when choosing a job. The two surveys were carried out in 2005 and 2013. At the end of the report there are some possible reasons for the changes. Grow of importance To start with, the importance had grown 14% for the pay, 15% for the work atmosphere and 20% for work/life balance. The pay has stayed the same in the ranking of importance but the ranking of work/life balance has dropped from fourth to second place. Fall of importance
Choosing the right way to revise guarantees success at the exam I Choosing the right way to revise guarantees success at the exam. II For the start, as we know revising for exams can be quite stressful because we have a lot of information to cover. But finding the proper way for you can help you alot! III I actually agree with this statement. In fact, i think that you should find out how you memorize thing in class in order to find out the best way to revise for the exam. For example, if you have a hearing memory, then maybe you
Choices after secondary school Every abiturient is gacing with big decision what do to next. Should student go to university, vocational school or to the work after secondary scool. It is big step in their life and ther is no right answer for them. Choosing the university menas thaht you have to study atleast 3 more years and usually undergrad have to work at the same time for living. It is stressful time and some of the students can't carry it through. . But also there is good points choosing the university you will get many friends, exiting undergrad life and of course education. I think that university is for them who wants to study something more. Choosing the work doesn't sound good at all, because usually you have to work places where your salary is quite low at the beginning. But also there is exceptions, some of the students who choosed the work can have a very good job, because many business educates the workers at the same time.
Methods students should adopt to select the right university Ones choice of university will affect their life both socially and professionally so it is important to make a wise decision. Finding the perfect university or college can seem challenging at first because of the endless opportunities offered. The course range given to students is extensive and the decision can be difficult due to a broad spectrum of higher educational institutions. When choosing the ideal university, it is essential to do research as early as possible and take it rather seriously. First, one should try to narrow down the possibilities by a simple process of elimination. By figuring out the area of study and other relevant elements like the size or location, the decision will most likely become simpler. It is important to remember that no university is good at everything and has particular areas they specialize in

enjoy the silence and relax without paying any money. Also, in the countryside the environment is much greener and cleaner as in the cities the air is more polluted, which can damage our health. Living in a city, people have much better accessibility for things in need, like food, medications etc., because important industries and shopping centres are usually close to the consumers. Whether one likes a fast living rhythm and to socialize or a peaceful and clean environment choosing a living place is totally up to the persons preferences.
The majority of parents do not know how to make their children understand the importance of exercising, especially because of the amout of technology no child will rather go out and play football than sitting at home and watching TV or playing video games. Should we encourage children to do sports? Firstly, doing sports is important for our health and if children do not do sports it may cause health conditions when they get older for example overweight. Choosing an exercise should be appropriated to the child's age and development. A good thing to do is to take the child for a walk, swimming pool or even to play a video game Wii. Secondly, sports makes children more active and playful, which develops their minds. Sports influence people mental health and it helps to decrease stress, anxiety and depression when you get older. All in all, I think it is important to encourage children to do sports but parents must not force
Learning in itself is not as important as personality and character When I was choosing a topic what I'm going to talk about, I read: Learning in itself is not as important as personality and character, and I momentarily knew that this is a topic what I really like. First of all: What I think, which one is more important ? To be smart or individual ? And I have to say that I am absolutely sure that there is nothing better to be clever and intelligent. Like our headmaster said on September 1st, that when you are smart, you will be rich and powerful also
visiting. The old town isn't the onlt place to visit there. Outside of the town walls you can find even more resturants, where you can sit next to the sea and enjoy fish and seafood dishes from the local Croatian kitchen. When you are full of local guisine, you can take diving lessons org o to the boat trip from the beach, which is located 100 metres away from the old town. If somebody has troubles with choosing a place to go for a vacation, Dubrovnik is the first place I would reccomend. I have been there three times for now but I still can not get enough of it. It is like a paradise on Earth.

It is very important to visit the doctor usually, every month, because health is important. Jobs and employment My greatest achievements is that I graduated the 9 grade. I can be successful in a lot things, like singing and dancing, but mostly when it comes to work then I can be a great secretary. Because I have worked as a secretary for some time. I think that people sometimes fail at what they're doing because they don't know anything about the job or activity that they are doing. When I am choosing a job I must first like the job and it has to have a good pay (salary). Now the most important thing, when you are choosing a job is the money!!!! English speaking countries English is the first languages in countries : USA, Canada, Australia, England. The reason why so many countries use English is because : It is easy to learn, it is used a lot etc. USA: It is one of the biggest countries in the world, it has a lot of people there, there are a lot of immigrants for all races.
and work. Do the impossible and push your limits. I think that Scott Dinsmore thinks in the right direction. If you want to be happy with your life you must find work that you love. And I know that the most difficult `'thing'' for peole is to actually think, think what they are, what they want and what makes THEM them. I think that's the main reason why people don't make the right choices. I and Scott Dinsmore think the same way- that the environment and peole around you matter. When I was choosing my specialty, I did exactly what he refers to. I figured myself out and realized that right now and for the rest of my life I want to work with multimedia and that doesn't mean I can't accomplish other dreams too, like study medicine, design, art, music and so on. I'm absolutely sure, that I chose the right path. His advice is that you shouldn't do something because everyone says your supposed to. You should accomplish your own impossibilities and surround yourself with passionate people.
University or work? After graduating high school we have to make a huge decision which may affect the rest of our life. We all have two options: to go to school or start working right away. It’s important to think early about what type of career you want to do in the future because this will help you on the road of choosing between work or university. If you choose to go to the university you need to know specifically what do you want to study and be sure of your decisions. Going to university may be expensive, because tuition fees can be high and you will probably need to take loans to pay it or even take a part-time job. But university definitely means higher salary and better education because most of the jobs require higher education or specific degree.
Living in the countryside -- a pleasant experience or a never-ending hardship Each person have their own opinion about living in the countryside. Nowadays preffered a lots of comfort by choosing a life in the city. So life in the countryside seems a little bit boring or compliacted. What are the pluses and minuses of living in a country? What i would prefer and why? I think that life in the country is most interesting in summer, because you can peacefully enjoy the nature in your own garden. In the city it is impossible. In the country you almost never can't be in a situation, that there is nothing to do. You will always find new activities,
weight control. Eating too late Your body can burn fat while you sleep, but only if it isn't too busy processing a full stomach. A new study in the journal Obesity looked at the sleeping and eating habits of 52 people over seven days, and it found that those who ate after 8 p.m. took in the most daily calories Eating off larger plates: More food, more calories, and more body fat. Keep your portions in check by choosing smaller serving dishes. If need be, you can always go back for seconds.
Hobbies and other leisure activities can have many health benefits.Everyone knows that stress can and will at some point in your life, take a heavy toll on your mind and body. A hobby can prevent the harmful effects of stress and also make your life richer and more rewarding. Hobbies can also help us feel connected, helping us to interact with other people. This also keeps our minds sharp. Hobbies have been around since the ancient times. The secret is choosing a hobby thats not only interesting, but good for you health and mind to. It gives you an opportunity to explore new things. We could collect a wide variety of things, including books, videos, stuffed animals ,figurines, posters and so on.You can collect pretty much everything. Hobbies and interest are different for every one; this is human nature. The current generation people are very much interested in the latest trends and
Are student organizations beneficial for students? Student organizations are always been quite popular among students. There are lots of benefits participating in the organizations, but some drawbacks as well. It is clear that student organizations are beneficial for students. Firstly, it helps students to find out their interests, which helps them in the future, when they are choosing suitable profession. It is always better when you already have some imagination of the job. In addition, organizations give new skills and knowledge. Secondly, it connects people with same interests, which leads to a more active social life. It seems that right connections are even more important, when it comes to finding a job, than education. Another relevant point is that nowadays you have to know how to work in a group and student organizations are excellent places to practise it
Perhaps they should be allowed to choose subjects that they want to study. On one hand I think that subjects shoudn't be compulsory in high school because peolple should concentrate on the subjects that will be useful for them in the future. For example: for a person who wants to study Polish philology, maths and physics may not be important. Students should be given the opportunity to take their future into their own hands. So choosing a subject for student who hae had first hand decisions on what to do in high schools will be determinated for them and their career. On other hand, young people usually don't know what they will do in the future, so it can be very difficult for them to make a choice. They have to learn all subjects for a few years to have a possibility to choose some of them. Moreover, people need to have general knowledge about the world. It is good to know at least some basic things about everything
Now as we have a lot of free higher education available, many people tend to use this wonderful opportunity. Although it might seem a great way to start building your way towards future career, it might not be the best way. Why? Because we have reached the stage where we have more people with higher education than we have jobs that require that kind of educational degree. To fix the issue, numerous studies have been carried out and many of them recommend choosing vocational training over universities or going to the university only if you have plans for your future career. Relying on the last point before mentioned I have to say that I chose university education over vocational education because I have had a dream of becoming a real estate developer and broker since my early childhood and there was no specialty available that would support my dream job. Also, in Estonia the ones who are not the

job, school, homework, shopping, caring for a family and exercise. Eating healthy enables body movements to be executed with ease.A poor diet with unhealthy food choices can make each movement a major effort filled with stress and pain. When people are hungry that means their blood sugar dropped, they feel tired, irritable and depressed and starvation. They're becoming more agressive to things around them.Solution for that is eating regularly and choosing foods that release energy slowly will help to keep sugar levels steady. I think food affects our well-being,because is one of the important thing for our body. Food gives substances like vitamines, minerals, carbohydrates and protein to our body. When people starving, they feel weakness in their body, because their body don't get enough substances. Then immunity becomes weaker,if body don't get enough minerals then their bones becomes also weaker and are easly breakable
Report Estate Planning Basics By Attorney Denis Clifford Complied by: Tartu 2010 This book explains, what most people need to know about estate planning. It will give the legal knowledge, what you need to know preparing your estate plan. ,,Estate Planning" essentially means two things. First, it means deciding who gets your property after you die and choosing the wisest legal transfer methods for leaving your property to those you want to receive it. Second, it means makeing some important personal decisions, such as who will provide care for your young children, if you have any, if anything happens to you and the children´s other parent, and who should make medical and financial decisions for you if you someday become incapacitiated and unable to handle things yourself. A First Look at Estate Planning Who needs to bother with estate planning
secondly, technology isn't ready for that, we are already changing evolution by abortion. But mayby in the future we have a choice of what kind a baby we would like. You'll never know, perhaps they will make a menu and you can select a baby of your own taste. You could choose a girl with hot body and kind heart. In addition you could make her intelligence high, make her tall and give her hobbies. I think that it may be nice to choose hair color and eye color, and even gender. But choosing whether he/she will be smart, stupid or tall is just a bit wierd for me. We'ev been living this way for a very long time and now they think they're going to change the world and everything will be as it has been forever. I don't think so. One the one hand it would be great for some people, because I think that if you can choose if he or she is smart then you probably could change some kind of disease that has been in the family for decades. On the other hand, if you
Which is better-a well paid job or an interesting and fulfilling job? Choosing a profession is an important decision in life. It is often speculated if the job should be chose based on a salary or persons interests. The aim of this essay is to find out which job is better-an well paid one or fulfilling one. It is clear that people work to get money, but it is also said that money does not make you happy. You can not purchase friends, family or health and these are the most important things in life. In addition job greatly affects the life in general
In his early days in the music business, Johnson worked as a hype man for underground rap and soul artists such as Slum Village, Steve Spacek, Platinum Pied Pipers, and Emanon. Some of the earliest tracks by Blu can be found on the 2003 mixtape Bruised Brothers, done with fellow L.A. emcee Blacc also known as Jac Spade. Spade is also a producer and has worked with the likes of Planet Asia and Chali 2na. Blu signed to L.A. independent label Sound in Color in 2004, choosing the label ahead of other big name companies such as Interscope Records and Death Row Records. After Blu was introduced to Los Angeles based producer Exile by Aloe Blacc, Blu released his debut album Below the Heavens in August 2007. New York weekly newspaper The Village Voice called the album "one of the most thoughtful indie-rap releases in some time". The rapper is currently working on several projects, one of which includes another link up with producer Exile on Memoirs,
Choices after secondary school There are many things to consider before choosing a career after high school. Like go to job, university or some trade school. Both of them have positvies and negatives sides. I would like to describe both of them positvies sides. Go to the job after high school is very good idea. Especially when you do not know what you want on your life. Lots of my friends went to the job after high school because they have so tired and so sick of the school. Some of them work a year and after that they had thought clear what they want in their life
martial arts, dancing and singing lessons, cooking, photography clubs, theatre groups, practice of chess and many different sports. Exchange students are a more common feature there and in the holidays, interesting trips are organized for the students by the school. In conclusion, I am satisfied with the way education is organized in Estonia. Although I would like to have some more freedom like students have in Britain with choosing the subjects exactly to their liking, I would not be fond of the facts that compulsory education lasts 11 years and all of the students must wear school uniforms. All in all, every system has its own advantages and faults.
while with imagination , it makes us infinite. With your imagination, it can take you to places that you never dreamed about. If you’re having a bad day, it could truly be your only weapon against reality. It can take you back on a vacation or it can fast-forward to an event that hasn’t even taken place yet. With imagination, it gives us the ultimate freedom, the power to choose, the power to change and the power to advance. Just imagine for a second that you had a superpower of your choosing. You could have super strenght, immortality, invisibility, you name it. The only limiting factor is yourself. I know everybody has thought about this at one point in his life. It isn’t hard and once you can imagine it and imagine how it works. Then how far is reality from it? Did you know that most of lifes advancements have come thanks to imagination. Without Newton imagining some force pulling donw the apple, would he have discovered gravity or

The high school in Great Britain starts at age eleven, but in Estonia at about age fifteen. Biggest difference is that in Great Britain they prepare young people to get a job or continue studing, but in Estonia this is only first step of educational life. After primary school in Estonia you have two ways to walk: high school or industrial school, where they get profession. Youngsters in United States of America and Great Britain have easier to make choice choosing a profession, because there they start to prepare people to get a job very early. High schools in Estonia teaches every subject almost equally, so everyone have to study everything, except for some schools that are oriented to teach few subjects in depth (IT classes, art classes etc). It´s much easier to make future career plans and to find suitable profesion if school teaches how to manage in real life with practical activities like different projects, presentations and so on
and let other people clean up the mess they had made. Liisa-Maria Pihlak, 12B It was Nick, her cousin, who saw her for what she really was-a careless woman, who didn’t consider to think twice about her actions and the mess she made nor who had to clean it up. She is unable to deal with the consequences of her actions. She can also be described childish and indecisive. I did love him once, but I loved you too. She had difficulties choosing between the two men who both wanted her. She married Tom without thinking it through which only shows her main interest and goal in that was money and wealth not the man himself. In first glance, Daisy is a very sweet and charming person, but once I got to know her better throughout the book, it wasn’t so. She wasn’t the woman Gatsby thought she was, she was all about money and only cared what money could get her. Even though she
Good morning! My name is Marianne Kümnik. I will be speaking today about strawberries. My presentation will last for about 10 minutes. Please can you save your questions till the end. Choosing Cultivars Some cultivars perform better than others, but it is difficult to predict which will grow best in a particular garden. Perhaps the best way to decide which cultivars to grow is to find out what works well for neighbours or local commercial growers. Before planting strawberries in a large area it’s good to try several promising cultivars Some cultivars that perform well: • Earliglow—perhaps the best-flavored cultivar, it is among the earliest to ripen.

Estonian Business School ANALYSIS OF A PRESENTATION Home assignment Tallinn 2015 For the home assignment we had to choose one presentation from Ted.com. I chose about a 4 minute presentation by Nilofer Merchant on the following topic: “Got a meeting? Take a walk”. The main reason for choosing this presentation was that I had read Steve Jobs's biographical book and there he talked how he liked to go for a walk when having a meeting and therefore, I thought it would be a good idea to get to know a bit more about something that I already know about. Also, I think that in the future, it pays off to know some easy tricks about how to make your meetings more interesting, more memorable and more healthier.

As Torvald was the owner of the home, and Nora was simply the doll, she was expected to be perfect and submissive to him. There are many references to Nora as his sky-lark or squirrel, that give the feeling that Nora is another child in this home. Her reaction to these names are not rejection, but acceptance, as she clearly believed she "can't get anywhere without (his) help" (1137). Nora even receives an allowance that she spends as a child would, and Torvald even goes as far as choosing her clothes for the masquerade ball, like dressing a doll. During the first act, Nora seems to have little substance to her character as she does exactly what she is told, even when Torvald tells her not to eat macaroons. Nora follows her husbands orders out of fear of running her "beautiful happy home" (1113) and disrupting life "the way Torvald likes it" (1114). In contrast, during the third act Nora's resemblance to a doll begins to differ as

At the same time I think I am hard working and diligent. My greatest problem at school was talking in front of the class. I always blushed and went red. Very soon I'll pass my final exams at school and after a farewell party at the end of the June I'll say goodbye to my teachers who are very welleducated people with broad outlook and deep knowledge of the subjects. They encouraged me in my disire of choosing my future career. School meant a lot to me and it wasn't just learning and studying. I had made good friends there and met many interesting people. I faced a new life without school with a mixed feeling of sadness and joy. I had asked myself a lot of times what I wanted to be when I left school. A few years ago it was difficult to give a definite answer. As the years passed I changed my mind several times. But it was
The resource can be used in RE to explore both learning about and learning from Christianity, and as part of spiritual, moral and cultural development(http://www.amazon.com/Christianity-Through-Art- Margaret-Cooling/dp/1851753826). Usage of the method This method helps pupils to understand Christian signs and symbols. It is a good opportunity for a teacher to enrich their teachings with the language of image. An important criterion in choosing an artistic work is complexity. The choise must be done according to the age and ability of the children. Also teacher must remember that expression of christian art can be interpretered variously(Mazzarello:107-108). In my point of view visual teching methods are interesting for the pupils. Also it helps children to connect before heard bible stories with visual art. They see the symbols and also learns to analyse them.
politically-motivated violence perpetrated against non-combatant targets by sub- national groups or clandestine agents, usually intended to influence an audience." Terrorism is a criminal act that influences an audience beyond the direct victim. The strategy of terrorists is to commit acts of violence that draws the attention of the local population, the government, and the world to their cause. The terrorists plan their attack to achieve the greatest publicity, choosing targets that symbolize what they oppose. The effectivity of the terrorist act lies not in the act itself, but in the public's or government's reaction to the act. For example, in 1972 at the Munich Olympics, the Black September Organization killed 11 Israelis. The Israelis were the immediate victims. But the true target was the estimated 1 billion people watching the Olympics from TV. The Black September Organization used the high popularity of the Olympics

The singularities are the failure of General Relativity, thus the finite Higgs Field (which acts as Dark Energy, Dark Matter) do hold the curvature from divergency [1]. The mathematics of the General Relativity with Higgs Field becomes truly manageable by humans. Gtt /(8π) = −ρ − X(t, x, y, z), Grr = p − X. Let X = −Gtt /(8π) − . Where < ∞. Then Grr − Gtt /(8π) − = p(ρ) = p( ). Then by choosing arbitrary metric non-singular function a(t), one finds the , which is necessarily finite.
