Weather forecast

Weather forecast. Millions of people tune into the weather forecast each evening on television. Most of them imagine that the presenter does little more than arrive at the studio a few minutes before the broadcast, read the weather, and then go home. In fact, this image is far from the truth. The two-minute bulletin which we all rely on when we need to know tomorrow's weather is the result of a hard day's work by the presenter, who is actually a highly-qualified meteorologist. Every morning after arriving at the TV studios, the first task of the day is to collect the latest data from the National Meteorological Office

Letter

Dear Joe, Thank you for your letter. I'm writing for you more specifically about our upcoming trip - meet-up and changes we have been made, so you can move on with the arrangements. Also, I have couple of questions myself too. First of all, we have a change regarding the date. We will arrive on 6'th September and leave on 16'th September . We are going to use a bus as a transport and will arrive to the hotel approximately 12 at noon. We have total of 16 students in our group - 10 boys and 6 girls plus another teacher besides me. We would like to have 5 rooms if possible and there is also a girl in the wheelchair in our group. I would also like to know about the museums you have been searched out for us and which is the appropriate way to dress ourselves - more comfortably or rather elegantly? Plus are there any past-time sporting opportunities for us? If

Speech about Pärnu

Pärnu Beach has fun attractions for kids, swings, surfing equipment rental, mini golf, lots of ice cream and other refreshments. Romantics love the Pärnu Beach Promenade all through the year. Pärnu Beach Promenade completed in 2006, and it makes the Summer Capital's beaches inviting even in bad weather! Thought-out lighting keeps the beach active even when the sun goes down, and the playing colours of the fountains are a sight in themselves in the darkness of the night. Now we are arrive at Breakwaters The Pärnu Jetty Pärnu has always been an important harbour. Two breakwaters with a total length of 5 km, each reaching about 2 km into the sea, were built in the mouth of the Pärnu River in 1863-1864. The breakwater on the left bank of the river has become the symbol of Pärnu. And now we are arrive at memorial to m/s Estonia The memorial was erected in commemoration of the people who perished in the catastrophe of the M/S Estonia in 1994. Religion in Ireland

Roman Catholic Church, Saint Patrick and Saint Patrick's day . 3. Christianity is and has been the largest religion in Ireland. Most churches are organised on an all-Ireland basis which includes both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Many people believe that St Patrick was the one responsible for bringing Christianity to Ireland. Although he made a major impact on Christian Ireland he certainly wasn't the first to arrive here. St. Palladius was the first Christian to arrive in Ireland. 4. The Roman Catholic Church in Ireland is part of the worldwide Roman Catholic Church. It is the largest Christian church in Ireland. This map is based on a reasearch made in 2011, that shows how many catholics are in The Republic of Ireland and in Northern Ireland. Areas in which Catholics are in the majority are blue. Areas in which Catholics are in a minority are red. 6

Dear Sir or Madam: I am writing to complain about the China Figure I ordered from your mail order company as a gift for a friend. I believe your advertisment was misleading in a number of ways. Firstly the Beautiful China Figure you sent me was cracked. Secondly, you promised to engrave my chosen message on a gold plaque, but there was a wrong message on the plaque. Then the advertisment said that the figure will be selivered within ten days, but mine took three weeks to arrive, so I got it too late. I am extremely upset and I demand you to give me my money back as soon as possible. Yours faithfully, Karoliina Ojasaar.

The Zahir Paulo Coelho

I really enjoyed reading this book, because it was really instructive. The story was full of lessons and ethical matters to use in life. I am completely in love with the author, because he doesn't just tell the story, but keeps you thinking about it, and speaks with the readers through the words. I usually enjoy more books with action, but this book is one of the best novels I've read. My favourite quote from the book: "All you have to do is to pay attention; lessons always arrive when you are ready, and if you can read the signs, you will learn everything you need to know in order to take the next step" If you like books that make you think about life in general, I truly recommend you to read the book The Zahir. You will find it hard to put the book down and you probably want to discuss and talk about the book to your friends. I think the book is especially meant for young adults, to be ready for marriage and upcoming life.

E.Hemingway

Summary: Chapter IV As they ride through the streets of Paris in the taxi, Jake kisses Brett, but she tells him to stop. They love one another, but Brett refuses to have a romantic relationship because Jake cannot have sex. Brett laments their fate, saying that she is now paying for all the "hell" she has made men endure. Jake disingenuously remarks that he finds his war wound funny and rarely thinks about it. As they head to a café to drink, Brett asks Jake to kiss her once more before they arrive. At the café, Jake and Brett again run into their friends. A man called Zizi introduces them to Count Mippipopolous, a Greek man who takes an immediate interest in Brett. Jake and Brett make an appointment to meet the next day, and Jake leaves to return home for the night. Jake arrives at home, takes his mail from the concierge, and goes to his room. When he gets into bed, he begins to think about his wound. He received it while flying a mission on a "joke front" in Italy. Other people

transport instead of cars. Do you agree? The topic im going to speak about public transport. There is an opinion that some people say that everyone should use public transport instead of cars. I don’t agree with that argument, because riding on public transport is not always comfortable and convenient. Firstly I would like to say that you have to adjust the time and you cant go where you need at any time. For example to call a taxi you have to wait when in will arrive. To take the bus you have to know timetable when busses run. Secondly, if you have your own car then you will able to sit in car at any time and go from point A to point B. In driving time you will have opportunity to make stops In conclusion want to say, that riding on the bus is cheaper than on your own car. As I know that many peoples choose to use their own cars, because it makes you life easier.

INGLISE KEEL, BEING SUCCESSFUL

powerful woman recognized over the world. She is greatly admired, She is convincing, persuasive, she learnt very well to get the public´s media love and inspired with her speeches. Oprah has been a millionaire since her thirties. Most people consider her as a super successful woman. Most people do not even know about Oprah´s personal life. She has been being strongly criticised about her performance during the show and also about things concerning her personal life. Here we arrive at the point where we understand why success can have such a huge difference of meanings for different people. Real success is a never endless process. It is a process of self knowledge, self awareness. You can not stop learning, the knowledge you have is never enough. Real success is also about creating value. It is all about creating opportunities.

About England

Britain is unusually beautiful country! England can be divided for four parts: the Southeast, the Southwest, East Anglia, the Midlands and the North of England. The Southeast is a highly populated region of England. London, the capital of the UK, and such historical cities as Windsor, Dover and Brighton are situated here. When people travel to Britain by sea or by air they usually arrive in the Southeast, for this is where the main passenger ports and airports are. Heathrow airport, one of the world's busiest airports is about 33 km west of central London. The Southwest is the region where the main activity is farming. The Southwest used to be known for its pirates. The two principal cities of the region are Bristol and Bath. If you want to see the famous Stonehenge you should also come here. The most westerly

Gross domestic product

foreign investments minus the income earned by foreign investors in the domestic market. Gross Domestic Product GDP can be determined in three ways, all of which should in principle give the same result. · They are the product (or output) approach, the income approach, and the expenditure approach. The most direct of the three is the product approach, which sums the outputs of every class of enterprise to arrive at the total. The expenditure approach works on the principle that all of the product must be bought by somebody, therefore the value of the total product must be equal to people's total expenditures in buying things. The income approach works on the principle that the incomes of the productive factors ("producers") must be equal to the value of their product, and determines GDP by finding the sum of all producers' incomes

Images of Chile

Republic of Chile Republic of Chile is a country in South America occupying a long and narrow coastal strip wedged between the Andes mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Chile's unusual, ribbon-like shape -- 4,300 kilometres long and on average 175 kilometres wide -- has given it a hugely varied climate, ranging from the world's driest desert -- the Atacama -- in the north, through a Mediterranean climate in the centre, to a snow-prone Alpine climate in the south, with glaciers, fjords and lakes. The Pacific forms the country's entire western border, with a coastline that stretches over 6,435 kilometres. Chile expanded in the late 19th century, when it incorporated its northern and southern regions. Southern Chile is rich in forests and grazing lands and features a string of volcanoes and lakes. The southern coast is a labyrinth of fjords, inlets, canals, twisting peninsulas, and islands. Prior to the com...

Chinese toy factories introduction  There’s a reason how US children can have their toys so cheap.  About 75% of the world's toys come from China, where migrant workers are paid an average salary of $240 a month.  Extreme poverty in China's rural areas drives many people from the countryside into the cities to look for these types of jobs.  facts  Every day, the workers have to arrive 15 minutes before the regular work shift begins for a work assembly.  Their living conditions are prison-like. Up to six people share small, cramped dormitories and up to 50 people share one bathroom.  Schools send student workers to these factories to do “internships."  Some factories promise workers a 10- minute break after every two hours of work.  Most workers never have benefited from these promises.  After the work shift, there's another
