British Cuisine Some people criticize English food. They say it's unimaginable, boring, tasteless, it's chips with everything and totally overcooked vegetables. What can compare with fresh pees or new potatoes just boiled and served with butter? Why drown spring lamb in wine or cream and spices, when with just one or two herbs it is absolutely delicious? If you ask foreigners to name some typically English dishes, they will probably say "Fish and chips" then stop. It is disappointing, but true that, there is no tradition in England of eating in restaurants, because the food doesn't lend itself to such preparation. English cooking is found at home. So it is difficult to a good English restaurant with a reasonable prices.
Advantages and disadvantages living in a city. Nowadays many people have to decide, where to live. There are many advantages and disadvantages living in a city and in the countryside. Some people prefer to stay in the countryside and say that they couldn't live anywhere else. Some people think the opposite. I think that there are many advantages of living in a big city. First of all, there are many opportunities to spend your free time. There are theatres, shopping centres, galleries and entertainment places. In a big city there are also hospitals and schools nearby. Also it is much easier to find a job in a big city, because there are many companies, which are located in a central city

Media are very important for us. They give us big amount of information, so big that we can't remember all that things. They help us to understand things and if you have lots of information you are able to make your own decisions. This is connected with education and media are very good teachers. They highly influence us. They can help other people making charities... News aren't always true, they are not objective or says just half true.
Living in the countryside a pleasant experience or a never-ending hardship? People have always had a choice where they want to live. Many years ago, a most of people did not have a choice where to live. It used to be that poor people lived in the countryside and rich people in the city. Nowadays it has changed.
