How to deal with water shortage problems?

Water covers more than 70% of the Earth's surface and it is the most valuable resource in the world. We need water to live on this planet otherwise life on Earth wouldn't be possible. Many countries suffer from water shortages. There is no fresh water for people usage. It's actually a major problem in the world but what can we do to decrease this? Firstly, people need to realise that there are many other people in the world who does not have accessibility to water. We can decrease it by not wasting water on pointless things for example long showers and watering flowers outside the house. By doing this we will economize water and it may be possible for other people to use fresh water as well. Secondly, it is really important to keep the water fresh and clean but many factories let their sewage into the groundwater which can cause a pollution and the lack of fresh water around that area. We can prevent this from not letting the factories do that or insist them on water treatment.

Helping the environment

To: Ms Head teacher From: Iti Tomingas-Oras Subject: Helping the environment Date: 6th September Introduction The Pupose of this report is to present my findings about heping the enviroment in our school. I have carried out a survey among the students at Kose Gymnasium. My findings are presented below. Findings The first thing students thought was that our school is using and wasting paper. Theatchers do not use both sides of paper while printing. Secondly the students have noticed that the computers are not always turned off at end of the day. They take a lot of power and waste energy if they are turned on overnight. The tird thing I found out is that our school does not recycle and reuse enouhg which is also bad influence for the environment. Reccomendations Firstly, I would like to suggest to reduce paper. For example send more emails or if the printing is

„People can live one hundred years without really living a minute.“

,,People can live one hundred years without really living a minute." Hundred years is a long time compared to one minute, but many people claim that it is possible to wrap all of those years into that one minute. They have an opinion that all those years only count if you use the time completely, without wasting it on activities and choices that make you unhappy. On the one hand I agree with this statement, people often live their lives without ever doing anything useful or something that really makes them happy. They are often very materialistic and that forces them to make decisions that do not really make them happy and therefore they are not really using the time that they have been given. On the other hand, it is physically impossible for people to live hundred years without

by foot. In addition to that pollution is also caused by industries which are often located in towns near peoples' homes. As Estonia belongs to developed countries, people have enough power purchased and they mindlessly buy things they do not even need. According to that there is overconsumption which also causes huge waste dumps. Lastly there is abuse of the natural resources in Estonia. While wasting paper, people do not think that it is made of both wood and water which should be saved. Therefore there is over-intensive logging and the area of woods is decreasing. To sum up there are no such environmental problems in Estonia such as widespread hunger and poverty whilst there are some smaller problems in comparison with the Third World countries. Jana Lodjak

How to save fresh water?

How to save fresh water? We all know what the problem is. Our lakes are dirty, people are wasting water for no reason not understanding how important it is not to waste it because we may soon run out of fresh water. It can seem like there's no solution, but there is! A few simple changes can help a lot. First of all, it is really important to keep our lakes clean, because nature is the premier source of fresh water. So people should stop dropping garbage into the lakes or near them. And walking pets near the lakes is also not such a good idea. It's not very nice to find some

sports. It is my opinion that it is important to do sports and playing games is developing. First of all, there aren’t too many people who do sports, i’d say too less. Most people I know enjoy staying indoors. I think everyone should take part in sports in order to have healthy body and a healthy mind. Secondly, playing computer games is rather good than bad. Games help people relax and they can teach us a lot about history or geography as well. Opponents say that people are wasting time on games and sports. Firstly, they argue that sports can be injurious. For example, you broke your leg while playing football. They also say that computer games are addictive and make people aggressive. However, in my opinion, sports and games is very good way to spend your free time. In conclusion, games and sports are not as bad and dangerous as some people say, it is all about the person’s setup and mentality. Although they can be addictive, I

young people, because nowadays in the cities are shopping centres. Opponents of this view say, that the main reason why it is gone this way is that fashion is getting popular among adolescents. Many people are in favour of clothes and accessories what are followed by the latest trend. Moreover, our economy has been developed, so peoples are living well and due to that they are allowed to spend money for shopping. Needless to say, that young people often get too much money from their parents and wasting it at the mall. Lastly, nowadays many young people don't know about other activities beside internet and shopping. Contrary to the popular belief, it is know that there are much more interesting activities for youths what must be encouraged by the older generation. For example sport games like football what takes skill and practice. Also it is much healthier than shopping because of physical moving. Should smoking be banned?

Smoking is very bad to lungs. It even could cause cancer. But people obviously don´t think before when something is wrong with them. But it also very hard to stop smoking like many different things. However, cigarettes are very expensive people still don´t leave smoking. Smoking is part of they life. They think that it normal to go smoking every single hour. I know some people who do like that. They just have to go because it like a habit. Non-smoker think that it time wasting, but to them it very important part of their day. All those things still don´t justify smoking, because it really serious and dangerous thing. I think that we can´t bann smoking, but we can create more no- smoking areas. All cafeterias, restaurants and other places where people are smokin, should think about that, because it a very serious problem which has disturbed a lot of people. I think that we should have special eating places for smokers when they could be with their ownkinds

Secondly, English would be taught as a second language at schools. It must be a compulsory subject, because most of the world's population is talking English. We Do Not Inherit the Earth From our Ancestors; We Borrow It From Our Children Some of the people think that the Earth is like something, that we can take and it will grow back like apples every summer on trees. But I do not think it does. I think we borrow it from the future. Firstly we are using too much water nowadays. We are wasting it and not thinking about the future, but we should. Lately the media has started to speak more about the need for clean water, specially in some parts of the Earth. In the past people did not have showers or baths, toilets with water, dishwashers. These and many other things use more water, than people used to. Secondly we are producing a lot more, than we maybe should. It seems like the most meaningful thing nowadays is money. varies greatly. Often governments offer loans and financial support to help students pay these fees. However, more and more people want to go to university, putting student funding systems under pressure. So should Governments charge fees for higher education, or provide it for free? Government should charge fees because it is well known that the `education' is often only a small part of the university experience. Students spend far too much time and money drinking, partying and wasting time. Even if there is an argument for funding higher education itself (which we doubt) then it is very hard to justify why low income workers should pay taxes to support the `student lifestyle' of people who attend universities. As long as students don't pay, or understand, the full cost of their tuition, they are more likely to take it for granted and be wasteful as they currently do. Though my side of this is that the off time from university broadens every student's horizon more or less.

She continues to ponder marriage and how her mother and friends will react to the news of a wedding. When Jacob wakes up, he is angry with himself for wasting his time with her by sleeping. He takes her outside to clear his head and tells her that although he wanted to handle this differently, he has run out of time. He needs her to know he is in love with her. He acknowledges that she doesn't feel the same way, but he wants her to realize she has other options besides becoming a vampire. *Bella mentions in the chapter that it feels more like February than May. "Marketing"

The reason this is important is that only a proportion of the population is likely to purchase any products or service. By taking time pitch your sales and marketing efforts to the correct niche market you will be more productive and not waste your efforts or time. It's important to consider your virtual segmentation by selecting particular to present your offerings to. Those verticals will have the particular likelihood of purchasing your products and services. Again, this saves you from wasting valuable time and money. Small Business Marketing and Large Business Marketing are Different If you are like the majority of small business owners your marketing budget is limited. The most effective way to market a small business is to create a well rounded program that combines sales activities with your marketing tactics. Your sales activities will not only decrease your out-of-pocket marketing expense but it also adds the value of interacting with your prospective customers and clients

Comparison: differences Even though both poems are about the same bird and its singing they are quite different in many ways. Shelly's poems in much longer and thus also more in-depth. It tries to portray the ways how the Skylark is exceeding properly by giving more metaphors to the bird and comparing it to various things. Wordsworth's poem on the other hand concentrates on how he wishes to join the bird and be as good as the lark. He gives forth his main idea strictly without wasting so much time on glorifying the bird itself. Also another difference is that Shelly wishes to be as good as the Skylark because he wishes that others listened to his work. Wordsworth doesn't express the need to be heard. He wishes to be good to create something jolly but he doesn't express his hunger for attention. The third difference that I noticed was that for Shelly the bird is something mystical and unseen. He could only hear the singing of the bird

at the end of World War I. The Reverend William Montgomery, one of the solvers of the Zimmermann telegram, for example, joined the Foreign Office. Early in the 1920s, in a circular urging its diplomats to be more careful in the use of their codes, the Foreign Office told them that it was spending £12,000 a year, or almost $60,000, both in keeping British codes secret and in solving those of foreign governments, and that carelessness in handling codes was wasting much of this (or at least much of the part spent for British cryptography). The usual legends circulated among the diplomats about their code experts, some of whom had "made a life-long study of the work." One story credited one of these wizards with solving a Turkish code during the war in less than five months, though he himself could not speak Turkish and had had to call in experts in the language to translate the messages.
