What is Present Continuous
The present continuous tense is formed from the present tense of the verb be and the
present participle (-ing form) of a verb.
Form
am/is/are + verb + “ing”
Examples :
I am watching TV.
He/she/it is watching TV.
They/we/you are watching TV.

We use the present continuous tense to talk about the present:
● for something that is happening at the moment
● for something which is happening before and after a given time

The Present Simple is the most basic tense in the English language. It is an interesting tense because it can be used Present Simple to express the future.
