I would like to discuss the restrictions of cinema as such – what these are, how do they affect the medium. For example time limit of the films, budget, how it affects writer and director, what kind of choices they have to make, and how the audience come into play. Love conquers all is the common theme in the texts, especially those which feature young love. Other texts such as the well-known play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, to the novel feed by M.T Anderson and even music such as Right by my Side by Nicki Minaj featuring Chris Brown all include this common theme of Love conquers all. Love conquers all is also a universal theme. It can be used in any generation and any country and in different kinds of texts as I have listed. We as an audience all love seeing two young lovers overcoming any obstacles fate throws in their way. This appeals to us as an audience as it makes us believe that if you strive for love, nothing can hold you back from achieving that love.
