Essay on Iron Man

Iron Man didn't seem to have any physical weaknesses at least when he was in his suit. Tony Stark repeatedly said that his technology was the most advanced in the world. Iron Man's weakness was his personality. Despite all the strengths and weaknesses, there is always something a person values in life. For Tony Stark it was definitely the people close to him. It often seemed like he was all about money and fame, and was never good at relationships, but he was true to his friends and acquaintances, in a way. In Iron Man Tony confessed to his personal assistant Pepper Potts that she was all he had. At the conclusion of the movie Iron Man 2, the stage was set for the beginning of Tony and Pepper's relationship. Stark was also frequently helped by his friend James Rhodes who seemed to be really close to him. Even though it was hard to see, Tony Stark really appreciated his friends.

If you are not in facebook, you don't exist

Recent reseaches show that Facebook is very addictive. More than 50 percent of active users log on any given day. Psychologists have introduced a diagnosis called FAD (Facebook Addiction Disorder)- there are an estimated 350 million around the world, who have admitted of being addicted to Facebook. But it was only a matter of time before large numbers fell like prey to the lures of a 24/7 social network with so many wonderful things to offer -a home among friends and shared applications like games, quizzes, personality-type "tests", awards and gifts, not to mention sharing laughs and creative feedback via photos, videos and more. I know that we live in a digital age, but maybe this new fancy disorder is a bit over a notch. All in all, I think that it's completely normal to have an account in Facebook, but we should keep some boundaries in case we don't want to mix up our virtual life with the real one. Sure

Raamatu "About a boy" täispikk jutustus koos uute sõnadega

I read a book named About a boy. It was a book full of romance, serious problems, also full of comedy . This story is about a man called Will and a boy called Marcus, how did they change each other lives. Will lives a very comfortable lifestyle in London, thanks to substantial royalties left to him from the successful Christmas song that his father composed. Will doesn´t need to work and spends most of his free time watching television, and reading about pop culture. When Will's friends, Christine and John ask him to be the godfather of their second child, Will bluntly refuses, he didn´t want to be responsible for the child, if something would happen with her parents. In an attempt to avoid spending time with the couple, Will meets Angie, and starts dating with her. But soon they break up and Will understands, that he have to look for girlfriend in some single-parents group. For and against studying abroad

For and against studying abroad At first it will definitely seem exciting, scary and overwhelming to study and live in another country and far away from all your friends and family back home. This experience will expanded your horizons and make you more independent. Obviously there are both pros and cons to studying abroad, and here is what I think they might be. I believe that there are many advantages that the time abroad will provide you. For instance you will make a lot of friends from all over the world. It is always nice to have a place to stay when you accidentally end up in Japan or Australia for a few days. Being an

In our P.E lessons we play ball games, do long jumps and run and have fun. I think everybody have good time there. I think we should have P.E lessons every day to keep our bodies in shape. We do it by oneself to get in good shape. Outside school there are so many sports to do after the school and it's good to do some sports outside school to stay healthy. If some person hate P.E lessons at school and hate to do sports, then it's not good. What If your friends invited you somewhere, where you need to run, swim or play ball games, you should be able to handle it. I think you get tired and get exhausted, and that's why everybody is supposed to do sport. If you don't like what you see in the mirror, you should make an effort by training a bit every day. Than one day the person looking back in the mirror is much more likeable and person who loves oneself is loveable to others too. You can start exercising step by step, so it would be easier. You

I am quite interested in history in general and I especially love tales about medieval Tallinn. I hope that I will find out some entertaining stories to tell my friends. Legends of Tallinn There are many interesting legends about buildings or sights in Tallinn. Nobody can tell, if they are all true or not, but at least they make the medieval capital much more intriguing and attractive for tourists as for the locals. How Ülemiste Elder will drown the town

Television

Television is a daily presence in the lives of most young children . TV is playing a very big role in their life. Television has its good side. It can be entertaining and educational, and can open up new worlds for kids, giving them a chance to travel the globe, learn about different cultures. However spending time watching TV can take time away from healthy activities like active play outside with friends, eating dinner together as a family, or reading. TV time also takes away from participating in sports, music or art.

My ideal home

My ideal home My homeland is so important to me, that if I could choose any place in the world to live in, I'd still choose Estonia. My perfect home can only be in here, where my family and friends are. In Estonia, where are swmaps and pine-wood, sandy beaches, blue sky and big fileds, where are people who i know and the place where i feel in home My perfect home is located outside of Tallinn, in the midst of nature. It is a two story house with a red roof and the house is surrounded by big white fence. Stepping into the garden, you can notice a cobblestoned road, which takes you to the door. Beside the road are planted little red flowers and the garden is covered with green grass

your mistakes. The word processing software is not perfect and often misses mistakes that we over look and assume have been corrected. Personally, I struggle with this and tend not to proof read as carefully as I should. Another problem is when you are writing on paper and use improper grammar and misspell words there is nothing there to remind you of your mistakes but yourself. Whenever I write by hand I have to think a lot harder about how to spell certain words. I notice that my friends also do the same thing and we have to ask each other how words are spelt or if sentences make sense. We have become sort of dependent on word processing. Because of technology my writing has gotten more informal and it's easier to write in a personal or informal tone. Because I use technology so much to communicate to friends and family it is sometimes difficult to transition to scholarly and formal writing styles. This class has helped me practice writing in different tones. I have really

And when the children ran in that afternoon, they found the Giant lying dead under the tree, all covered with white blossoms. The Devoted friend O. Wilde Once upon a time, there was an honest little fellow named Hans. He was a man with a kind heart. He lived in a tiny cottage alone and everyday he worked in his garden. Hans had many friends, but the best one was Hugh the Miller. Hugh the Miller always went to Hans's house in order to recollect flowers for himself. Hugh the Miller always talked about how important is friendship and to share everything with one's friends, but he never gave anything to Hans. Hans always worked in his garden, but in winter he felt lonely and lived in bad conditions because of the cold weather, and because anyone visited him

The effect of modern technology on our everyday life

life. To start with, development of mobile technology, computers and internet made life easier. We can find information in sites like Google in a couple of minutes instead of looking for required information in books for hours. In the older times, writing a letter, sending and bringing to a required person took minimum a month; now this procedure happens within a minute, if people communicate using social networks. Also, social networks gave a chance to people to communicate with old friends, relatives and so on, who are far away from them. Of course, seeing them in real live is better than just seeing their messages or talking in Skype, but programs give feeling, that distance has no matter and loved one is near you. Even if he or she is at the other end of the world. Development of technologies gave new working places. Without computers where would be no such profession like computer science, web designer. Also, being an architect, engineer

Fabio Capello

And those figures he admires most play their politics wide on the right. Described variously as "uncompromising", "disciplinarian" and "impatient", Capello has recently expressed his support for those such as Pope Benedict XVI and Silvio Berlusconi. He has praised the organisational "skills" of General Franco. In a sport derided for its navel-gazing insularity and fondness for talking in cliches, the would-be successor to Steve McClaren deliberately seeks his friends outside football, has an impressive modern art collection, travels to obscure locations and prefers to spend his evenings listening to classical music. When asked recently about his testy attitude towards the media circus that surrounds the game, he said: "People say I'm impatient when it comes to football and they're right. I can't stand the crap that gets talked by everyone: players, fans, the media, club officials. Why should I waste my time listening to people who are clearly less

The advertisement about the club was misleading in several ways. First of all, the advertisement said that the photograph of me and my family will be returned directly but I sent my photo a month ago and there hasn't been any return yet. It also claimed that I will receive the names and address of the people who will correspond with me whereas I got only two so far. To make matters worse the advertisement said that I will get letters from my six new friends but I have heard nothing about them. Finally, why did I get a bill although that service is supposed to be free for all students? Yours faithfully, Piret Elias

The first time that Melanie went to Jeanette's church she acted shy and didn't sing along with others. When the pastor urged sinners to raise their hand Melanie pushed hers into the air. Churchgoers prayed for her and Jeanette started going to Melanie's each Monday to read the Bible together and pray. Girls became friends, but soon after felt differently towards each other. `Do you think this is Unnatural Passion?' asked Jeanette once. `Doesn't feel like it. According to Pastor Finch, that's awful.' answered Melanie. The more they spent time together, the stronger their feelings got though neither of them admitted it out loud. However, everything changed after Jeanette told her mother about Melanie. Next time in church the girls were ambushed

Body Shaming

importent to talk about it. Did you ever stop and think about how often we are told to change our appearance? Magazines constantly offer tips about how to lose weight “in days,” appear slimmer “instantly,” and hide our “imperfections”… without actually knowing anything about us, much less our appearance. This is one example of body-shaming, and it is everywhere. It has become the norm to criticize aspects of our bodies as some type of bonding experience with friends – if we all hate our bodies; it somehow makes us feel connected and united. Body-shaming can lead to a vicious cycle of judgment and criticism. Messages from the media and from each other often imply that we should want to change, that we should care about looking slimmer, smaller, and tanner. And if we don’t, we worry that we are at risk of being the target of someone else’s body-shaming comments. Body-shaming manifests in many ways:

In the first place, my English has improved in so many ways. I feel more confident with my pronouncing and my writing has also improved. Secondly, I learned much about Oxford. It seemed such a nice town. I hope to return soon for a nice week-long holiday. Finally, I got many friends who all were so nice to me. I am keeping a close contact with them and I hope to see them soon. I would like to thank you once more for being a good teacher and giving me an opportunity to improve my English. Working at home or in an office - essee

Some people prefer working at home to working in an office. This has its own advantages and disadvantages. First of all when you work at home you do not have to follow schedule every day you can wake up when you want, and finish work when you see fit. This allows you to spend more time with friends and family. Working at home helps to save money. You do not have to spend money on transportation every day and also for lunch. You can have home coocked meal which is always cheaper then eating out. On the other hand working at home can make you very lazy. Also at home you do not have enogh motivation to work, especially when there is something good coming on television. All in all i think that working at home is much better than working in an office because

Description of an Interesting Person I Have Met

Description of an Interesting Person I Have Met It was early morning in Finland when I had just waked up. I was very tired, and I decided to go to the beach and just lie on the hot sand and sunbathe. When I creamed myself somebody bumped into me and that was him. He was chasing volleyball and after he had bumped into me he apologized and asked me to play volleyball with his friends and I agreed. He wore chequered shorts and his upper body was naked. He was very handsome, because he was about 180cm long, muscular and strong physiognomy. He had wavy nose, blonde stylish hair, thick lips, bright colour brows and deep blue eyes. He was very friendly .I laughed most of the time with him, because he known a lot of anecdotes and he had done so much funny things in his life. I am very surprised about the way he looked and the way he

Good and bad points of being rich and famous

Being rich may be truly wonderful. No need to worry about the money. We can buy everything what we desire and travel to exotic countries. on the other hand you cannot buy such a things like love and conscience However, eveything has also it's negative sides - same for the money. With all the fame and wealth comes also big attention - paparazzis and a lot more uncomfortable. As we gain more money, the more people wants to become our friends. Another bad side in being rich and famous is that famous people doesn't often have any private life - everybody wants to know everything about you and criticize you.

Some people say that schools should not offer meals for pupils

pupils In city schools are the meals pointless because there can children they own food with him or buy it some place nearby. Otherwise on country schools the lunge meals has to be because people live far from home otherwise they don't get their warm meal on right time. Near the city schools are always some shop or café where hey could enjoy their lunge. All so they would get more free time to be with their friends. But that would be an problem for some child parent who don't have money to send their child out for lunge. Also city schools food isn't very quality, because it has made by to much amount. Country schools are small and have a cheep very quality food. Cooks who work there usually has love for cooking so they make food with joy. That's what gives a food a good taste.

My dream home

I would also hire a gardener, so I can have time for my other duties. There are many spacious rooms in my house that are in well-lit and pastel tones. There are a living room, a kitchen and lightly coloured guest room on the ground floor. On the first floor there is also a living room, two nurseries, a toilet and a study with a bookshelf that covers the entire wall. I would hang pictures of my travelles on the walls, so it's easier to talk about my trips to my friends and family. As I'm the quiet type I would like to have the house in the suburbs. I think it would be nice if it were to be a gated community.

Bullying

limit, it might end with a terrible gunfire(Colombian massacre). I believe everyone have been bullied by someone and have been a bully for a once. Bullying is an issue that is very important in nowadays and needs a special attention. Some of the ways to bully other people are by: calling you names, making things up to get you into trouble, hitting, pinching, biting and pushing, taking things away from you, damaging your belongings, stealing your money, taking your friends away from you. Now, to talk about why people bully someone there are many aspects. Some bullies do it to get attention or to make other people afraid of them. Others might be jealous of the person they are bullying. It makes bully feel, stronger, smarter, or better than the person he or she is bullying. Some people think that it's one of the best ways to keep others from bullying himself. What is even worse, some bullies may not even understand how wrong their

Oranges Are Not The Only Fruit Character Sketch

She was very religious person. Louie considered church as her family more than her own family. “My mother stood up and said she believed this was right: that women had specific circumstances for their ministry, that the Sunday School was one of them, the Sisterhood another, but the message belonged to the men.” She believed that praying could solve all the problems and people like her were meant to be separated from others. She did not have many friends because people did not understand her, not even Jeanette. But Jeanette looked up to her because she had had always an answer, knowledge why did things happen. Louie saw the world in two categories: friends and enemies. “She had never heard of mixed feelings.” Devils were daily talking point and she could find them anywhere. Sexuality was one of taboos for her. For example when Mrs Rothwell was drowning and Fred had saved her, all Louie
