restaurant. Food and Prices Furthermore the meals are good value for money as the prices are quite reasonable. However the clients are complaining that there are not many dishes to choose from, so we need more meals. Service The staff are very friendly and and helpful and they are able to make helpful suggestions about the menu. However the service is a little short handed, It would be a good idea to hire extra people during the lunch and dinner time for rushes so that the service is always fast and efficient Atmosphere There is friendly relaxed atmosphere in our restaurant. . However the restaurant is old and not very clean. Conclusion Marco's is a fast food restaurant with reasonable prices. If you would consider changes I suggested, we could get more customers and bigger profit.

Christmas in different countrys(jõulud erinevates maades)

Christmas in Australia Christmas in Australia is often very hot. Whereas the northern hemisphere is in the middle of winter, Australians are baking in summer heat. It is not unusual to have Christmas Day well into the mid 30 degrees Celsius, or near 100 degrees Fahrenheit. A traditional meal includes a turkey dinner, with ham, and pork. A flaming Christmas plum pudding is added for dessert. In the Australian gold rushes, Christmas puddings often contained a gold nugget. Today a small favor is baked inside. Whoever finds this knows s/he will enjoy good luck. Another treat is Mince Pies. Some Australians and particularly tourists often have their Christmas dinner at midday on a local beach, Bondi Beach in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs attracts thousands of people on Christmas Day. Other families enjoy their day by having a picnic. If they are at home, the day

Gold was first found at Bayhurst in 1851. The idea of unifying all the states first came to Earl Grey in 1847. On the 1st of January, in1901, Australian colonies federated to become the Commonwealth of Australia. Australia had declared independence from the federation of UK colonies. As neither Sydney nor Melbourne was an acceptable new capital, a new city Canberra was built as a result of an architectural competition. Geographical position:

About 160 000 convicts arrived in over 80 years. The convicts were mostly poor townspeople. Only few of them were from wealthier classes. The building of a new society based on these people was an outrageous challenge. The most cunning and skilful of the convicts became later the founders of prominent colonial families. Until 1830s the convicts were harshly punished for almost no reason, flogging being the most common penalty. During the 1850s, the settlement was boosted by gold rushes. Gold was first found at Bayhurst in 1851. Scarcity of labour (tööjõupuudus), the vastness of the bush, and new wealth based on farming, mining and trade all contributed to the development of uniquely Australian social institutions and sensibilities. The idea of unifying all the states first came to Earl Grey in 1847. It was only on January 1, 1901, that the Australian colonies federated to become the Commonwealth of Australia. Müller persists. Kat mentions his wife and children. The younger men mention women and getting drunk. Haie says that he would become a noncommissioned army officer since digging peat, his old job, is such a terrible occupation. Tjaden states that he would concentrate on getting revenge on Himmelstoss. Detering says that he would return to his farm. Himmelstoss approaches the men, who rudely ignore him. He orders Tjaden to stand, but Tjaden moons him in response. Tjaden rushes off to hide before Himmelstoss returns with the authorities. Müller continues with his questions. They calculate that there are only twelve men left out of the twenty from their class who joined the army. Seven are dead, four are wounded, and one went insane. They mockingly recite questions that Kantorek shot at them in school. Paul cannot imagine what he will do after the war. Kropp concludes that the war has destroyed everything for them

30 WIND ENERGY Wind is simple air in motion. It is caused by the uneven heating of the earth's surface by the sun. Since the earth's surface is made of very different types of land and water, it absorbs the sun's heat at different rates. During the day, the air above the land heats up more quickly than the air over water. The warm air over the land expands and rises, and the heavier, cooler air rushes in to take its place, creating winds. At night, the winds are reversed because the air cools more rapidly over land than over water. In the same way, the large atmospheric winds that circle the earth are created because the land near the earth's equator is heated more by the sun than the land near the North and South Poles. Picture 9.1. Wind energy Today, wind energy is mainly used to generate electricity. Wind is called a renewable

The wolves raise their voices in raw howls of sheer animal power, then let them soften to haunting, melancholy cries. [With Winter's moody soprano sax in call and response fashion, the effect is] to lift listeners out of their everyday lives, and into another world. And as the wolf serenade reaches its emotional crescendo, that's exactly what is happening to Bill. [...] He feels deeply, serenely at peace. Then, suddenly, he is seized by a surge of excitement. It rushes up from the gut in a burst of joy and energy, and before he can think twice about it, Bill is on his feet, with his head thrown back, and he is howling from the bottom of his soul. Remarkably, at the same moment, other people have begun to howl. At first it's half a dozen, scattered throughout the church. But in moments others follow their lead and soon the entire cathedral is alive with joyous noise, as hundreds of people joyfully join in the primal song of the wolves."

You try to get up but can't. A terrifying thought rushes to mind: "Oh, God, I'm having a stroke!" Groups of people are pass- ing by and most are paying no attention.
