Comparing artists This report describes two different artists. The first one is Troyal Garth Brooks, American country music artist, and the second one is Tracy Chapman, American pop singer and songwriter. United Kingdom Country Music determined that Garth Brooks has taken country music further than any other performer. He has reached the widest possible audience, gained phenomenal success, yet still retained the basic ingredients of country music. His eponymous first album was released in 1989. Tracy Chapman is a multi-platinum and four-time Grammy Award-winning artist. During college, Chapman began street-performing and playing guitar in coffeehouses in Cambridge. After graduating from Tufts, she released the album called "Tracy Chapman" (1988). The album was critically acclaimed, and she began touring and building a fanbase.
memorable scene was when the Queen Elizabeth talked about Diana in television. At that moment I held my breath because I was really thrilled about how she could handle this. When Elizabeth talked about Diana there were tears in her eyes. That showed that we are all only humans and we all have feelings- including the Queen. For me the first part of the film wasn´t interesting but despite that I liked the ending. Also I liked the atmosphere in UK when their princess had died. It was phenomenal to see that all the people in England kept together like one big family. There were also some things that I didn´t liked about the film. I didn´t liked the way how the Queen acted after Diana´s death. She didn´t showed her feelings and at first she didn´t even cry. To my mind it was very weird. I was quite disappointed because there wasn´t showed Diana´s accident. And what about music? I think there should be more music and sound effects.

the revolutionaries rarely used the word science. Instead, they talked and wrote about natural philosophy or the philosophy of nature. Nature, to them, meant the natural world, that is, what was natural, what was not made by human hands. I would suggest that using the expression the philosophy of nature was really a hangover from the medieval world. In other words, questions of science were subsumed under the study of philosophy, and since medieval man called the phenomenal world Nature, then it was quite logical to refer to the study of Nature as the philosophy of Nature. According to the medieval world view, Nature was conceived [ kavandatud ] to be kept going from moment to moment by a miracle which was always new and forever renewed. It was God who ordered the universe through these miracles. This entire scheme depended not only upon God, but upon the individual's absolute and unwavering faith in God
listen, hear; to spark their curiosity. When I was a child the things that pleased me were largely other than the plants which have earned me a living as an adult. For example, I collected postage stamps, played basketball, was fond of listening to music, played all manner of games, but dealt only in a neutral, uninspired fashion with plants. The one thing that was constant and of supreme importance was my love of reading. I don't recall why, but by an early age, say age 9, I was a phenomenal reader of books, a habit that persisted all the way until college. Reading expands one's mind immensely. It fires the imagination, demonstrates grammar, teaches vocabulary, informs, challenges, helps one relax. In some cases it forces the mind to concentrate, as to understand. It can help build a moral or ethical framework, and help oneself form an individual worldview. Even an untraveled child, sitting at home, can be transported by a book into any place or time

He was about my age, I guessed. Average height and nicely muscular. He had unruly blond hair, soft hazel eyes, and a nose that had clearly been broken at some point. "Mind if I grab a glass of wine?" I asked. "It's been a long day." "Go for it," Trey replied. "I'll take one, too." Cary joined us by the breakfast bar. He was wearing loose-fitting black jeans and an off-the-shoulder black sweater. The look was casual and elegant, and did a phenomenal job of offsetting his dark brown hair and emerald eyes. I went to the wine fridge and pulled out a random bottle. Trey shoved his hands in the pockets of his jeans and rocked back on his heels, talking quietly with Cary as I uncorked and poured. The phone rang and I grabbed the handset off the wall. "Hello?" "Hey, Eva? It's Parker Smith." "Parker, hi." I leaned my hip into the counter. "How are you?" "I hope you don't mind my calling

is quite direct: They first get us to like them. There is a man in Detroit, Joe Girard, who specialized in using the liking rule to sell Chevrolets. He became wealthy in the process, making hundreds of thou- sands dollars a year. He was phenomenal at what he did. For twelve years straight, he won the title of "Number One Car Salesman"; he av- eraged more than five cars and trucks sold every day he worked; and he has been called the world's "greatest car salesman" by the Guinness Book ofWorld Records. For all his success, the formula he employed was surprisingly simple. It con- sisted of offering people just two things: a fair price and someone they liked to buy I GIM Chapter 5 LIKING from
Rimsky-Korsakov, Estonian symphonic music (Tubin, Lemba, Eller, A. Kapp, Aav and others). Kull was an amateur-composer himself. His orchestral works do not exhibit special artistic depth or individuality, but they have been composed in a simple manner, in good humour and colour, which are the reasons for their continued popularity. According to the recollections of other musicians (Karl Leichter, Eino Uuli and others), Kull had a phenomenal musical memory and great faculty of observation. Magnificent technique of his fingers, especially his left hand, remained in the memory of all those who had seen him conducting. Kull was the first conductor making wide international concert tours: to Sweden, Poland, Finland, Hungary and France (a longer tour in 1934), popularising Estonian orchestral music. If you believe that steroids guarantee a gain of 30+ pounds in four weeks, you should look at clinical studies and real-world users. It just isn't the case. The real signi cance of the Colorado Experiment is two-fold, despite the fact that Casey is clearly a genetic mutant. First, it is physiologically possible to synthesize enough protein to produce 63.21 pounds of lean mass in 28 days. This shows that one counterargument ("you'd have to eat 20,000 calories a day
