Marilyn Monroe (sünninimega Norma Jeane Mortenson, ristinimega Norma Jean Baker; 1. juuni 1926 Los Angeles, California osariik ­ 5. august 1962 Los Angeles, California osariik) oli USA näitlejanna, laulja ja modell. Teda on nimetatud 20. sajandi üheks kuulsaimaks näitlejannaks ja seksisümboliks. Aastal 1953 oli ta esimene ajakirja Playboy kaanetüdruk. 29. juunil 1956 abiellus ta kirjanik Arthur Milleriga. Nad lahutasid abielu 1961. aastal. Tuntud on Monroe esinemine president John F. Kennedy sünnipäeval Madison Square Gardenis 1962. aastal, kui ta esitas laulu ,,Happy Birthday, Mr. President". Kennedy kinkis talle kuldse Rolexi kella graveeritud isikliku pühendusega. Ajakirjanduses on palju spekuleeritud Kennedy ja Monroe võimaliku intiimsuhte üle, kuid selle kohta pole tõendeid.
