Which is better-a well paid job or an interesting and fulfilling job?

Which is better-a well paid job or an interesting and fulfilling job? Choosing a profession is an important decision in life. It is often speculated if the job should be chose based on a salary or persons interests. The aim of this essay is to find out which job is better-an well paid one or fulfilling one. It is clear that people work to get money, but it is also said that money does not make you happy. You can not purchase friends, family or health and these are the most important things in life. In addition job greatly affects the life in general. So, when the job is unchallenging, the life becomes boring too. Money is not the most important thing in life. When people choose profession based on a salary, they could later realize that the work is unsatisfying. We hear a lot of stories about people, who first studied law, but understood later, that they are not into that. In most cases parents force their children to study a profess...

About Peter I House Museum

About Peter I House Museum Emperor Peter I (1672-1725) expanded the borders of the Russian Empire in the course of the Northern War and managed to annex the whole Estonian territory by the year 1710. Therefore the protection of the new border areas became the priority of the ruler and he paid a lot of attention to the reconstruction of ports in Tallinn and Paldiski and visited Tallinn several times. Together with the site of the would-be palace, a summer estate and a 17th-century cottage that had belonged to town councillor von Drenteln were purchased for the emperor's use in 1713. The small cottage was enlarged with a wing and the outcome was a building with a hall, a kitchen and four rooms. The small summer residence was in use until the emperor's death

Essee "Teenager and pocket money"

Should teenagers nowadays earn their pocket money. Many children earn their pocket money by doing some jobs at home, but lots of them do not need to work for it. I think that it depends on the specific children whether his/her parents should pay him/her. My parents do not give me money for bringing firewood or mowing the lawn. They have never paid me for such jobs and I think I would feel rather bad if they did. I have understood that I need these domestic jobs done as much as everybody else in my family. My mother doesn't get paid for feeding me, so why should I be better than her. I know a family where one of the children gets paid for simple domestic jobs and the other does not. It seems unfair to me. On the other hand, I find that getting paid for chores could be rather good motivator for younger kids. In the world full of

Choices after secondary school

In my opinion, everyone should think about what he wants to do in future. On the one hand going to the university is very interesting way for student and this means, that you would have lively life, travel and meet people. Moreover, you get a lot of knowledge. However, in the other hand going to university implies that you study there 4-6 years more. In addition you can not be sure that you find after graduating from university a highly paid job. The other option for a high-school graduate is to get a job. There are people who think that big positive side is that you must not study boring theories and formulas. What is more you get salary. Despite these facts there will be very little possibilities for further development. You can not develop in future and find a highly paid job is very difficult. To conclusion, both ways are very popular nowadays. All things consider, I believe

Arts related entertainment should be free

galleries. In addition to that being a artist is a job like every another one too and needs to be paid. Finally, I think it it better to decrease the prices of art galleries to the lowest price so that anybody in society could afford it and enjoy arts. In this way more people would visit art exhibitions and educate themselves. In conclusion, in my opinion arts related entertainment should not be free, because all artists need to have an income and have to be paid. But visiting exhibitons should be as cheap as possible so more people would visit it and actually pay attention to art more than they do now.

If I Were a Minister of Education

If I Were a Minister of Education In the last five years we have witnessed several changes in the education system. Although some people find it useful and needed, others find it tragic. What has changed and what would I do to make school a better place? Firstly, there are several things that has been changed in the last few years, such as financing vocational schools. Students of vocational schools get paid for good grades and in some schools even for attending school. Even dorms are paid for students. That is true, we have a chance of getting a little scholarship in high schools, if we graduate with a medal, but it is times and times harder to achieve. In fact government has started to close high schools because they think that there are too many of them. It looks like our country wants only graduates with vocational education, which I find really sad.

TEXT The Irish Problem

The surrounding towns of Cork, Bandon, Kinsale and Youghal surrendered. Cromwell left Ireland in 1650 having dealt a severe blow to the uprising Irish. The Cromwellian conquest of Ireland (164953) ~The Land to be paid~ A problem of equal concern to Cromwell after the Civil War, however, was the fact that most of the soldiers in the Roundhead army still needed paid for their time served in the Civil War, but Parliament had no money to give them. So Cromwell decided to pay them in land. He forcibly moved thousands of Irish from their homes in Munster and Leinster and resettled them in counties Clare, Galway, Mayo and Roscommon. This was by far the poorest land in Ireland and, as well as this, they were not allowed to live within 3 miles of the coast. This strip, called the 'Mile Line' was given to Cromwell's soldiers. In 1652 the newly cleared land

Complaints letter

I am writing to express my annoyance about a number of points. First of all, the beaches were dirty and crowded. As a result, I didn't see any clean and free places where for suntanning. I like snorkelling, but you have not snorkelling equipment for all the family. Take a tour by elephant was impossible because queue was too long. Even bikes were out of order. All these points made me very annoyed. I insist on paying back a half of the sum I paid for the holiday. Yours faithfully M. Mets (Mr) words (109)
