2. HARJUTUSÜLESANNE 2.1. Otsing andmebaasist Compendex Engineering Village platvormil. Avalehel vali andmebaas Compendex - jäta linnuke kastikesse Compendex , teiste andmebaaside eest võta linnuke ära ja vaata, kuidas muutuvad otsiväljad otsivormingu paremas aknas. Tutvu andmebaasi ülesehituse ja otsivõimalustega: lihtotsing: Easy Search; kompleksotsing: Quick Search; tesaurus, indeksid:Thesaurus, Browse Indexes. Kui sisenesin andmebaasi, oli linnuke ees lisaks Compendex'ile Referex'il. Sellel juhul sai otsiprofiiliks olla ainult märksõnad (keyword), täpsustada sai ka autorit (author), pealkirja (title) ja publitseerijat (publisher). Samuti puudus võimalus täpsustada dokumenditüüpi (type of document), keelt (language) ja käsitluse tüüpi (type of treatment).
