Argumentative essay "Too many people spend too much time playing games and sports"

developing. First of all, there aren’t too many people who do sports, i’d say too less. Most people I know enjoy staying indoors. I think everyone should take part in sports in order to have healthy body and a healthy mind. Secondly, playing computer games is rather good than bad. Games help people relax and they can teach us a lot about history or geography as well. Opponents say that people are wasting time on games and sports. Firstly, they argue that sports can be injurious. For example, you broke your leg while playing football. They also say that computer games are addictive and make people aggressive. However, in my opinion, sports and games is very good way to spend your free time. In conclusion, games and sports are not as bad and dangerous as some people say, it is all about the person’s setup and mentality. Although they can be addictive, I believe they are rather good than bad because they help us relax and spend our free time.

Milking machine

Milking  machine Merlin-Hans Hiiekivi Regards about inventing a  milking machine • Development of a usable milking machine took several decades of trial and error. • Some editors of 19th century dairy and ag publications acknowledged a need for a good milking machine, but, were dissatisfied with all that were being offered. Others discouraged all attempts at machine milking, stating that it was unnatural or intrinsically injurious to the cow. . Early Cow Milking Machines • The earliest devices for mechanical milking were tubes inserted in the teats to force open the sphincter muscle, thus allowing the milk to flow. • Skillfully made tubes of pure silver, gutta percha, ivory, and bone were marketed in the mid-19th century, and, in fact, a few were still being sold well into the 20th century. • A novel milking tube illustrated in the Scientific American in 1875, used a slide valve at the

Hypermobility-The effect of hypermobility on flexibility

Hypermobility. The effect of hypermobility on flexibility

dynamic flexibility. Passive flexibility is the ability to stretch while aided by one’s own body or partner. Muscles do not get extra tension while working out and the amount of work lies within the amount that muscles involved can elongate. While one is bending actively, one does it unaided. Active flexibility is performed as stretching unaided and trying to exceed the height set as target. 9 Active flexing requires using muscle spindles10 and therefore excludes the injurious consequences force can cause. 11 Dynamic flexing – also known as mobile stretching – represents active, aided stretching while moving. It necessitates active movements, such as leg swings or hand waves. Dynamic stretching is an important factor of mobility in order to deform and extend the muscles.12 Stretching dynamically is also an opportunity to stretch intensely beyond one’s abilities and develop hypermobile joints as a consequence.

In both disciplines your hands are your principal tools. Both guitarists and boxers must put their hands in a difficult and potentially injurious situation to perform their art. By now you will have come across some of the difficulties and pain that come with learning the guitar. For most of you, just pressing down the strings and trying to play chords will have caused some moderate pain. Most of this pain will be in your fretting hand ( left hand for right handed players). This pain is normally felt in a few places; pain in your fingertips, sore wrists, stiff forearms and pain between your thumb and your fingers

In addition are remedies and sanctions, and collectively these constitute a criminal justice system. Not all breaches of the law, however, are considered crimes, for example, breaches of contract and other civil law offences. The label of "crime" and the accompanying social stigma are normally reserved for those activities that are injurious to the general population or the State, including some that cause serious loss or damage to individuals. The label is intended to assert an hegemony of a dominant population, or to reflect a consensus of condemnation for the identified behavior and to justify a punishment imposed by the State, in the event that an accused person is tried and convicted of a crime. Usually, the perpetrator of the crime is a natural person, but in some jurisdictions and in

Soil microflora

Under high soil moisture level / water logged conditions, gaseous exchange is hindered and the accumulation of Co4 occurs in soil air which is toxic to microbes. Depending upon oxygen requirements, soil microorganisms are grouped into categories viz aerobic (require oxygen for like processes), anaerobic (do not require oxygen) and microaerophilic (requiring low concentration / level of oxygen). 6. Light: Direct sunlight is highly injurious to most of the microorganisms except algae. Therefore upper portion of the surface soil a centimeter or less is usually sterile or devoid of microorganisms. Effect of sunlight is due to heating and increase in temperature (More than 45°) 7. value resulting in a PNECaqua of 5.8 g/l.n. (EC50 - half maximal effective concentration; PNEC - Predicted No Effect Concentration) Terrestrial Effects Nematodes in peat were killed by application of formalin (37 % formaldehyde solution) at 179 ml/m³ (Lockhart 1972). Pollen grains of Lilium longiflorum which had been sown in a straight line on a culture medium were exposed separately to various concentrations of injurious gases. A 5 h exposure to formaldehyde at 0.44 mg/m³ (0.37 ppm) resulted in a significant reduction in pollen- tube length, whereas a 1 or 2 h exposure was innocuous. When the formaldehyde concentration was increased to 2.88 mg/m³ (2.4 ppm), a 1 h exposure caused a decrease in tube length. Conclusion The substance is a candidate for further work. No information is available about releases into surface water from production and processing sites. Due to the low PNECaqua of 5.8 g/l a risk to

should sometimes occur in the course of thousands of generations? If such do occur, can we doubt (remembering that many more individuals are born than can possibly survive) that individuals having any advantage, however slight, over others, would have the best chance of surviving and of procreating their kind? On the other hand, we may feel sure that any variation in the last degree injurious would be rigidly destroyed. She still cherished a very tender affection for Bingley. Having never even fancied herself in love before, her regard had all the warmth of first attachment, and, from her age and disposition, greater steadiness than most first attachments often boast; and so fervently did she value his remembrance, and prefer him to every other man, that all her good sense, and all her attention to the feelings of her friends, were requisite to check the indulgence of those regrets which must have been injurious to her own health and their tranquillity. "Well, Lizzy," said Mrs. Bennet one day, "what is your opinion now of this sad business of Jane's? For my part, I am determined never to speak of it again to anybody. I told my sister Phillips so the other day. But I cannot find out that Jane saw anything of him in London. Considering Tubin’s past and present, this was wholly understandable. What had happened? Tubin commented himself: I thought a lot about my trip to Estonia in 1961, which was not approved of by certain émigré circles in Sweden. I suppose that my indignation was caused by many injurious writings and this was released in the Finale of the Eighth Symphony; its strenuous chord reiteration had an effect of a hymn to myself. When a man is growing old, he has the courage to show his emotions: he is not afraid to laugh or weep.1 The main theme of the first movement (Andante quasi adagio) is melancholic, full of yearning and like a free recitation. The subsidiary theme is reminiscent of a sorrowful soliloquy. The inner concentration is accented by static, persistently

The agency might attract more suggestions by a firm promise not to use ideas without payment; this might be of some value if the matter ever came to court. But the agency will not give such a promise. More incomprehensibly, it will not even say why it will not. It seems that here N.S.A. is being deliberately self-injurious. The Navy's needs may not vary quite so widely, but even it uses strip cipher for less important communications and rotor machines for more important ones.
