The most common components of marine debris in the Baltic Sea are food waste and packages. 31-43% of marine debris are plastic bottles and even 50-63% of marine debris is plastic. Marine debris is harmful for everyone. It causes garbage ingestion and entanglement for marine animals. For marine life it causes accumulation and spread of toxic compounds and garbage deposition. These pictures are illustrative. Ristna Sea Store is organized into different departments and that's why it's called Store. From that exhibition you can find differend findings and their decomposition times in nature. This is how the exhibition looks inside. On this map they have tagged all the countrys where all these findings have came from to the coast of Hiiumaa. -- Departments... All this garbage decomposes for a really long time.
