Tess Guilty or not? I read Thomas Hardy's book called Tess of the D'Urbevilles. The book is about young woman's misfortunes. Those misfortunes lead to many desperate actions but Tess is not quilty of them. The first misadventure which leads to others is when Tess has to go to the market. Tess accidentally kills the horse. She feels guilt but in my opinion it was not her fault because after all it was her father's task not Tess'. Her father could not go because he was too drunk. Capital punishment. Some people say that capital punishment should not be abolished. In some points I agree with it but in another points I disagree. When somebody kill someone, then it is impossible describe the pain that family members and friends have to feel.
