How I take attending school seriously

How I take attending school seriously School is a place where every child has to go. It is so because that is the starting point of our education. Without it you would be sust another person in this world because you woun ´t have anything to do especially nowadays. Knowledge is everything. So if we woun´t go to school there is no way to get a step further. I am going to write why I take attending school seriously. First of all I think that when we woun´t go to school for a long periood, it is almost certain that we would be in trouble. If you have been absent for a couple of weeks then it will be very difficult to get all tests and homework done. Firstly you may not know anything about the things that are asked from you. Secondly, some people are sust too lazy to do the tests and because of that students will have very bad marks

''How much does life weigh?''

How much does life weigh? The question can be understood differently. Some might take it word by word, others in some metaphorical way. Many are convinced that a human body has an immortal part - a soul. With knowing how few it actually weights, we can only assume what we have in these grams and whether it is anything worth at all. First of all, what do we claim to be a soul? It is our conscience with no form or location. It is the energy that is a part of the whole universe. In consideration of this, every human being has their own soul. This is what makes us all different

Efficient initiatives to help protect the environment

Efficient initiatives to help protect the environment Just like our bodies, the environment functions best when it's in balance. Unfortunately, we're not quite there. Many of us believe that we lead lives that respect nature but our consumption habits give us away. Many little habits that seem to be sustainable are in fact polluting. Along with pollution, issues like depletion of resources, the rise of consumerism, and the "throw away" culture have led to serious issues. That being said, the fight's not over yet. Fortunately, more people than ever are both aware of and active in the protection of the environment. To protect the environment, waste management and recycling are crucial. When we recycle, used materials are converted into new products, reducing the need to consume natural resources. If used materials are not recycled, new products are made by extracting fresh, raw material from the Earth, through mining and forestry. R...

Walking for meetings - analysis of a Nilofer Merchant presentation

Estonian Business School ANALYSIS OF A PRESENTATION Home assignment Tallinn 2015 For the home assignment we had to choose one presentation from Ted.com. I chose about a 4 minute presentation by Nilofer Merchant on the following topic: “Got a meeting? Take a walk”. The main reason for choosing this presentation was that I had read Steve Jobs's biographical book and there he talked how he liked to go for a walk when having a meeting and therefore, I thought it would be a good idea to get to know a bit more about something that I already know about. Also, I think that in the future, it pays off to know some easy tricks about how to make your meetings more interesting, more memorable and more healthier.

Big city's wastes lot of water and product a lot garbage all so waste air with fumes. It would be great when people who take something from the environment give something back to it. This is easy when just start doing something. If nobody doesn't drop junk on the ground then that's a good thing to. Also should take part on different trees planting and junk cleaning events. I guess that government and local authorities should make more and more with that kind of purpose events. At this evolution period can people buy also cars witch waist less environment.

I hope you can also let me know how many people will take part in these classes. As I am a beginner will it be possible for me to attend the Writing Summer Workshop? Could you also inform me if we are going to have lunch break? In the advertisement I could read only about other meals provided. Furthermore, I would like to know what the Workshop fee includes. Into the book she wrote poems and everything she wanted her little girl to know when she will grow up. Kate married first when she was only sixteen years old. She devorced from David when she was pregnant. After that she met Sam, with who she was living together, when she got Jill. Six months after Jill she found out she had cancer. After that they moved to Vancouver, Sam and Kate got married in Vancouver's hospital. Kate didn't wanted to take medicines. She wanted to die peacefully with some semblance of sanity than take the drugs and die a bit later than she might have naturally with no mind. Kate died when she was twenty years old in Vancouver's hospital. It is sad when people have to die, especially when they are very young and they have a little family to take care of. I liked the book because it is based on true story and it is interesting to read what has really happened.

An holiday is the perfect place to try something new, to push yourself to a new limit and realise your dreams. You can do something that you've never tried before, like going to new places or take part of the adventure games. You can go to the gym or run every day 5 km. I like to go hiking in the woods or just take a daytrip to a city where I have never been before. The other possibility is to go for a mental challenge, like learning new language, or reading an interesting book. It is good challenge to take a science or philosophy book, something that is not so easy to read so you can be proud of yourself after finishing it. It is also possible to learn new skills such as cooking or dancing or making yourself a short film or learn a new computer program.

I am rather optimistic and think it is such a privilege that we have sports centre in jyri. Thanks to the sports centre there is many hobbies you can choose from. You can learn different martial arts, different dances, basketball, football and table tennis. you can take swimming lessons and much more. When you just want to take a time out you can take a steam bath, a regular sauna or just relax in a bubble bath. To me jyri sports centre has only one disadvantage. That you have to pay for these things which the sports centre includes. I find this as a disadvantage because in these hard times I do not have the luxury to go swimming or visit the gym, but again what is the price for your health?

The invention of the car changed the world

How many of us can possibly imagine our everyday life without cars in it? We´d find it to be rather difficult. Probably the fact would blow up our day schedules and most of the plans that are made. In the olden days, a car was a poduct which was ment to be only for the rich ones. To the contrary, nowadays cars are very easily available for everyone (!).Speaking of which, it´s not much to mention that one extremely wierd and sad occasion would be that some people take advantage of haveing a car and tend to take up too high speeds for showing how tough fellows they are. Often boasting like this can cause big devastations, meaning accidents and all kinds of fines, not mentioning times, when a driver might be under influence of the alcohol, which is definitely the worst possibility of all. But that´s the world we live in and when we meet such an unusual situation, we´d have a fair

How does virtual communication influence our behaviour

Some of them have been successful breakthroughs, other rendered obsolete for their complexity and lack of usefulness. Now is the year 2010 and the Internet is everywhere. Many people carry it around in their pockets and some people cannot live a moment of their life without it. The grand amount of information, available for them on their fingertips, addicts them. Information is power and that is why people nowadays want to be everywhere, know everything and see everyone at once. Not many take the time to sit down, grab a pen and a piece of paper and write a letter for someone. A letter filled with thoughts, emotions and personality itself for that matter. Instead, people send text messages and e-mails through the air to each other. These quick messages can never replace the feelings gathered in a premeditated letter from a loved one. Furthermore, if people rely on these options too much, they become reserved in nature. The internet and mobile communication have their upsides

A little consideration, a little thought for others makes all the difference

When you see good in people you will feel more positive. Donate to hospitals or people who need it. You do not need to donate to everybody, but if you can, it would be nice. You can also donate blood or organs. Many people need those things. Think of it, that you can save someone’s life. Do not never lie. Lying is very bad and it takes lot energy, because you have to remember everything what you have said before. Do not hate anybody. Forgive everyone, it may take time, but forgive. Forgiveness will make you feel better and happier. Take more time, to go out and feel the nature. Do not throw trash in the nature. You have to keep the environment clean. It is horrible to see trash in the nature. Recycle trash like newspaper and plastic. Take those to other bags. These are things that can change the world, but remember you have to start with yourself.
