He had his own thoughts and rules like to lose his virginity before his next birthday. He had his own weird friends, and few girl friends. There were times, when Oliver was kind of caring, kind, considering and helpful but most of the times he was very lonely (except being with Jordana). He wanted his parents to love each other passionately and he had pretty much work with this. Then there was Jordana, a girl who was very unusual. To me she seemed a bit angry and kind of shy. She liked to do things that other girls on her age never would do. That pretty much says the basic things about her. Oliver parents were weirder than Oliver. They rarely talked to each other. This movie was weird to me. I didn't get the main idea of this movie. All that I understand is that Oliver, Jordana and his family were unusual. They lived a life that was full of pain, silence and injustice a life that I would never want to live.

First impression of people are often wrong. Do you agree?

First impression of people are often wrong. Do you agree? We all live in diffrents places, we speak diffrent people and perceive around us new people everywhere we go. This new places and people may cause oftenly wrong impression when immediately we see someone new. Why is it so, why we do such conclusions, even tho we do not now person we just met. For example, in school, obviously we see who is popular and who is not. We see shy and confident persons. But after that we analyse that person and make ourself some knowledge about every person we see or met. Sometimes it is bad, sometimes it is not. What to talk about and what not, how do we act in their company and how we not should act. Some people you see them and know they have a bad time in their life. Some people you just have to communicate and go deeper, to see who he or she really are. So I agree.

Rivaled only by Frank Sinatra, her recordings of work by Cole Porter, Ira and George Gershwin, and Rogers and Hart were incredibly successful. One of the early "scat" performers, Fitzgerald found a place among the growing jazz innovators, making recordings with such greats as Billie Holiday, Duke Ellington, and Louis Armstrong. Her true genius, however, was not formal innovation or deeper expression, but artistic renderings of the enthusiastic songs of her time. "I'm very shy, and I shy away from people," Ella once said. "But the moment I hit the stage, it's a different feeling. I get nerve from somewhere; maybe it's because it's something I love to do." More than anything, it is this love of performing that won her the hearts of millions throughout the world. By the 1970s, she was performing with a trio headed by pianist Tommy Flanagan, and regularly with dozens of different symphony orchestras

United Kingdom is way more lucky at this point as they way surpass Estonia in natural resources. As United Kingdom has gold, iron, natural gas and so on. Estonia’s only natural treasure really is oil shale that they used to make electricity and peat. So UK really dominates Estonia at this category. Same goes for the population, while Estonia has a shy of one million, UK trumps that with around sixty five million. The main population is mostly white ethnic group for both of the countries, so we can consider that a similarity.

If you can dream it, you can do it!

Walt Disney had said:" If you can dream it, you can do it" and I am agree with it. A lot of people dream about anything. For example some dream about big house and some dream about luxurious cars. They never think that their dreams come true. All they need for that are courage, activity and industry. When you have all three things your dreams come true If you want your dreams come ture, then you need courage. When you are shy, you don´t reach anywhere. With courage you are more open to take a risks. You don´t become frightened and you have courage to strive towards your dreams. You are open to talk with anyone, who you want. You have a lot of acquaintances, which carry you forward in your life. Second thing what you need, when you want your dreams come true is activity. Nothing in this world woun´t happen himself. You have to do more by yourself. For example

satisfy both teenagers and adults alike. The story is told in first person from the perspective of Bella, so the reader only ever know what she knows, making Edward and his family a mystery that is slowly unravelled through out the book. Even by the end of the book I was still thirsting for more of the Cullen family back story - hopefully their characters might be developed further in future books. Bella herself is a well written and realistic character, shy and lacking in confidence, her sarcastic inner voice narrates the story for the reader. Twilight is simply and yet beautifully written. The descriptions of Forks leave you feeling like you can almost smell the damp air and hear the rain falling on the roof. The romance between Edward and Bella is both touching and compelling. There is a melancholic feel to their impossible love, yet at the same time they both are unwilling to give up hope that their relationship is not doomed

Which is better-a well paid job or an interesting and fulfilling job?

So, when the job is unchallenging, the life becomes boring too. Money is not the most important thing in life. When people choose profession based on a salary, they could later realize that the work is unsatisfying. We hear a lot of stories about people, who first studied law, but understood later, that they are not into that. In most cases parents force their children to study a profession that pays well. They do not consider child's interest and child is also too shy to stand up. In the end, people should be confident and pursue what they're interested in. It is getting popular to work in many different work areas in life. Before people studied one profession and work as it till they get old. Today's people are easily bored, they search for something interesting. People want to get rid of the routine and because of that, they change jobs quite often. Nowadays, people can afford themselves a good and livable life, having the work done by machines, wear the clothes they want to and feel free to become more and more successful every day. Secondly, 50 years ago, people had very limited rights, which made them kind a shy and sour. Even getting a job was a complicated act, because there were not many workstations. And the other problem was that people did not have fair qualification. Nowadays there is open ways everywhere. Anyone can study and work on whatever job when they have enough will. Pride and Prejudice Book Report

Summary of the plot: In Georgian England, Mrs. Bennet raises her five daughters - Jane, Elizabeth, Mary, Kitty and Lydia with the purpose of getting them married with a rich husband that can support the family. They are not from the upper class, and their house in Hartfordshire will be inherited by a distant cousin if Mr. Bennet dies. When the wealthy bachelor Mr. Bingley and his best friend Mr. Darcy arrive in town to spend the summer in a mansion nearby their property, the shy and beautiful Jane falls in love with Mr. Bingley. Lizzie finds Mr. Darcy an arrogant and proud man, and she swears to loathe him forever. This is the beginning of their wonderful love story. My opinion: I found the book quite interesting, not as good as I had expected or hoped, but still something different from the usual books I read. It is a classical love story, how a man and a woman at first loath each other and later on fall in love. But it can be said that it is a quite women-

mittens, which Mabel's sister had knitted. The next day the snow girl, which they had built in front of their house, was not there anymore. At first, Jack thought that some wild animals had destorey the snow sculpture, but later on, when Jack was in the forests hunting, he saw something that looked exactly like the snow girl. I turned out that the snow girl had turned into a real girl. In the beginning, the girl was very shy and hid herself in the deep forest, but later on she became braver and even talked to the couple. In the end of the book she gives Mable and Jack their first grandchild. I believe that this happened so that the couple would feel a little bit happy and blessed, even though the girl Fauna never really was their biological child. The main characters, Jack and Mable, are very humble and loving. I felt like Mable was a bit more emotional and complicated than Jack. She was very naive in a way.

I prefer to listen to the views of others and express mine. In other words, I am always ready to make a compromise for successful collaboration. For instance, during group work, I always have a lot of ideas how the material can be logically presented. Taking into account and respecting the opinions of others, I try each time adjust to the choice of the group, and even ready for improvisation.

library. She had to work there every Saturday morning. Melanie lived with her mother who often wasn't home. She had no father. Jeanette also learned that Melanie had such a funny name because when she was born she had looked like a melon. In my opinion, this indicates that Melanie was not that smart and had limited intellectual capacity. Melanie's church was not a very lively one and Jeanette invited her to theirs. The first time that Melanie went to Jeanette's church she acted shy and didn't sing along with others. When the pastor urged sinners to raise their hand Melanie pushed hers into the air. Churchgoers prayed for her and Jeanette started going to Melanie's each Monday to read the Bible together and pray. Girls became friends, but soon after felt differently towards each other. `Do you think this is Unnatural Passion?' asked Jeanette once. `Doesn't feel like it. According to Pastor Finch, that's awful.' answered Melanie

between the years 1904 and 1925. Then, the remaining population was estimated to be 12 individuals. Mountain lions apparently existed at very low numbers between 1925 and 1940. They maintain a secretive profile in the Yellowstone region. Although the cougar population numbered in the hundreds during the early 1900s, controlled hunts between 1904 and 1925 decimated the population. Today, twenty to thirty-five mountain lions reportedly inhabit Yellowstone Park, but sightings are rare. Shy and elusive, mountain lions live solitary lives and practice mutual avoidance. Males and females interact for breeding when females are about 2 1/2 years old. Giving birth throughout the year, females can have litters of up to four kittens, but usually only one or two survive. Born spotted, the kittens stay with their mothers for about 18 months, after which time they will leave in search of their own home range.

Dorian Gray, Lord Henry Wotton, Basil Hallward

As art is his true passion, Basil puts his heart and soul into it. That is what makes him a bit paranoid, thinking that some of his paintings reveal too much of himself. He lacks the ability to look himself through other's eyes and understand that even though he may see the world in his work, others see it only as a pretty portrait. Basil struggles with his privacy issues as part of him wishes to share his art with others, but the other part is shy and protective over the paintings. If you get to know him, you'll find out that there is more to Basil than just art. He is a good natured but a bit obsessive person. He isn't necessarily a team player. Basil seeks out a person he feels drawn to and then starts idealizing him. He wants to protect the chosen friend and keep him all to himself. Hallward feels jealous when the friend doesn't feel that strongly attached to him back and looks for other company. But at least Basil never gives up

heightened her reputation with a disruptive, intimidating quietness. Julie could run like the wind, but she walked as though asleep, dead slow, straight-backed, and in a very straight line. She often appeared deep in thought, but when we asked her she always protested that her mind was empty. Her silence made us all a little afraid of her, but again she would protest her voice musical with bemusement, that she was the only one who was afraid. It was true, she was shy - there was a rumor she never spoke in class without blushing - but she had the quiet strength and detachment, and lived in the separate world of those who are, and secretly know they are, exceptionally beautiful. Jack is envious of Julie due to her close relationship with their mother and Sue. Mother used to trust Julie more and also told her more about her state of health because she was the eldest. Jack is Liisa-Maria Pihlak, 12B

occasional good-natured teasing or even the odd physical scrap between children of equal strength. The most common form is name-calling. Children call others names for many reasons: because the other child is short or fat, is of a different skin colour, or has a lisp, a stutter or a physical disability. Maybe he is a slow learner or wears clothes that differ from the run of the mill. Victims are often smaller or weaker than average, or shy and insecure. Boys bully more than girls, and the tormenting is more often physical. Debra J. Pepler of the LaMarsh Centre for Research on Violence and Conflict Resolution at York University has reported that 23 percent of boys surveyed said they had engaged in bullying, compared to only eight percent of girls. Among victims, however, both genders were equally affected. With girls, bullying often takes more subtle forms, such as whispering campaigns, spreading rumours and shunning--acts
