Jane Austen "Pride & Prejudice" Pride and Prejudice, first published on 28 January 1813, has consistently been Jane Austen's most popular novel. Austen sold the copyright for Pride and Prejudice to Thomas Egerton. Egerton published the first edition of Pride and Prejudice in three hardcover volumes in January. The tone is light and a little humoristic. Pride and Prejudice is a humorous story of love and life among English gentility. At first the book was called "First impressions" and this gives a better expression to the requests of the author, than the later heading. People meet, do not understand each other and communication does not offer joy either. So this is contrary to love at first sight. Plot Overview Jane Eyre is a young orphan being raised by Mrs. Reed, her cruel, wealthy aunt. Antagonists (particularly rivals in love) are frequently terrifying, and just as often get their come-uppance in a delicious fashion. Although his plots are on the surface formulaic, Wodehouse's genius lies in the tangled layers of comedic complications that the characters must endure to reach the invariable happy ending. Typically, a relative or friend makes some demand that forces a character into a bizarre situation that seems impossible to recover from, only to resolve itself in a clever and satisfying finale. The layers pile up thickly in the longer works, with a character getting into multiple dangerous situations by mid- story. An outstanding example of this is Code of the Woosters where most of the chapters have an essential plot point reversed in the last sentence, catapulting the characters forward into greater diplomatic disasters.

I have read many books and I work as a clergyman, I think that this explains why am I good at understanding people. Also, I am definitely not a shy person. I tend to be rather honest, often to the point of being blunt, and express my opinions on different things and criticise them.
