If I got the chance to be the Minister of Education, I would definitely make some changes in school life, changes for the better of course. Firstly, I would improve school catering. I would make school food free for all students because at the moment it is quite expensive. Because of that some students can not afford to eat at school but schooldays are long and it is unhealthy to go all day without eating. School buffet's offer unhealthy chips and pies but very little healthy vegetables and fruits so I would make buffets healthier. Secondly, I believe that it would make classes more effective to watch different educational movies. Doing the same thing from day to day is simply boring and some variety would surely increase students' interest in class. The third thing I would do to spice up life at school is organizing more fieldtrips. There are many different cultural and historical exhibits and museums kids

Form 8c Tallinn School No.21 Last year I went to a party. It was the best birthday party I have ever been to. The party was in Tallinn and it was in my friend's house. It started at five o'clock. I went there alone. I wore blue jeans, a shirt and a sweater. A gift to the host was a homemade cake and a gift certificate. The house was full of beautiful decorations and balloons. The kitchen was full of food. There were a lot of sandwiches, chips, cakes, pies and candies and also a lot of drinks. My favorite drink was a strawberry smoothie. I also liked Fanta. I liked the music because it was very relaxing. I played there a lot of games. My favorite game was hide-and-seek, I also played board games. I did not dance .We also played football, basketball and Airsoft. I didn't meet anybody new there because I knew everybody.6 The party finished at ten o'clock. I did not stay overnight because I didn't want to. I didn't take any photos

woke up early that beautiful day, because there were guests coming over. Like in any other winter morning i rushed to the window sill to see if the dwarves have left something in my christmas stocking. I remember exactly, what was in there that day, it was kinder surprise. I liked kinder surprises a lot, because the chocolate would melt in your mouth and there was a surprise between the two halves of the chocolate. At 1 o'clock, the guests arrived. They were my grandparents. Guests brought pies made by grandma and a beautiful bunch of flowers since i'd just had my birthday a week before. Mother asked me to take out a vase to put the flowers in the water. So i did and i climbed on top of a chair to grab my favourite vase with blue flowers on it. Suddenly i noticed a lot of sweets on the top shelf of the drawer and also drawings i had drawn to santa claus. I shouted "mommy, is this the dwarves' storage place?" I was frustrated, because they hadn't delivered

For Christmas they eat turkey, roasted beef, pies, yellow rise and for dessert raisins or blum pudding. How they celebrate? The most important part of their Christmas worship service is the love offering, this is the gift in honor of Jesus. Then at about 8 or 9 o'clock everyone makes their way to the celebration of the birthday of Jesus. In the afternoon, families go out into the country and usually there are games or bathing in the warm sunshine. Sports Sports

in the future. For most of human history one ecomomic problem has dominated: how to make the economic pie large enough for everyone to live on. Go back to the turn of the first century AD, and if you took the global economic pie, and divided it up into equal slices for everyone in the world, everyone would get a few hundred dollars. And if you rolled forward a thousand years, roughly the same is true. But in the last few hundred years, economic growth has taken off. Those economic pies have exploded in size. The value of those individual slices of the pie today, the're about 10,150 dollars. If economic growth continues at two percent our children will be twice as rich as us. By in large, we've solved the traditional economic problem. With that solved problem has arosed antoher one how to make sure that everbody gets a slice. Solving this problem won't be easy.
St Stephen's Day, the day after Christmas, is almost as important, with football matches and meetings going on. For children, the Wren Boys Procession is their big event. Boys go from door to door with a fake wren on a stick, singing, with violins, accordions, harmonicas and horns to accompany them. The reason for the ceremony is to ask for money 'for the starving wren', that is, for their own pockets. Children often put out Christmas sacks instead of stockings. It is tradition to leave mince pies and a bottle of Guinness out as a snack for Santa. "Nollaig Shona Dhuit" (NoLik Suna Ditch) means "Merry Christmas" in Irish Gaelic. "Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat. Please put a penny in the old man's hat. If you haven't got a penny, a ha'penny will do. If you haven't got a ha'penny, God bless you!" Cleaning for Christmas: The time leading up to Christmas is busy in Ireland. Women clean the inside, polish the floors, the silver, the
winter, Australians are baking in summer heat. It is not unusual to have Christmas Day well into the mid 30 degrees Celsius, or near 100 degrees Fahrenheit. A traditional meal includes a turkey dinner, with ham, and pork. A flaming Christmas plum pudding is added for dessert. In the Australian gold rushes, Christmas puddings often contained a gold nugget. Today a small favor is baked inside. Whoever finds this knows s/he will enjoy good luck. Another treat is Mince Pies. Some Australians and particularly tourists often have their Christmas dinner at midday on a local beach, Bondi Beach in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs attracts thousands of people on Christmas Day. Other families enjoy their day by having a picnic. If they are at home, the day is punctuated by swimming in a pool, playing Cricket out the backyard, and other outdoor activities. The warm weather allows Australians to enjoy a tradition which commenced in 1937. Carols
Soups Soups are traditionally eaten before the main course and most often are made of meat or chicken stock mixed with a variety of vegetables. Soups are also blended with sour cream, milk and yogurt. The Main Course Pork and potatoes accompanied by a rich gravy and often served with sauerkraut or other vegetables has been the traditional Estonian main course. Pork has been the most important meat and is eaten roasted, cured as bacon, in the form of ham, or in pies and sausages. There are many other main dishes too. Black Bread Black rye bread accompanies almost every savory food in Estonia. Instead of wishing "bon appetit", Estonians are prone to say jätku leiba ("may your bread last"). Estonians continue to value their varieties of black rye-based bread. Estonia has not been a land of plenty. If a piece of bread was dropped on the floor, it was good form to pick it up, kiss it to show respect, and eat it

"Yes, she called yesterday with her father. What an agreeable man Sir William is, Mr. Bingley, is not he? So much the man of fashion! So genteel and easy! He had always something to say to everybody. That is my idea of good breeding; and those persons who fancy themselves very important, and never open their mouths, quite mistake the matter." "Did Charlotte dine with you?" "No, she would go home. I fancy she was wanted about the mince-pies. For my part, Mr. Bingley, I always keep servants that can do their own work; my daughters are brought up very differently. But everybody is to judge for themselves, and the Lucases are a very good sort of girls, I assure you. It is a pity they are not handsome! Not that I think Charlotte so very plain--but then she is our particular friend." "She seems a very pleasant young woman." "Oh! dear, yes; but you must own she is very plain. Lady Lucas herself has often said so,
