The Yeti or Abominable Snowman is a ape-like mythological creature. Even though there is little evidence that the Yeti exists, it has been speculated by some scientists that these creatures could be called as Gigantopithecus. Over numerous conferences, the result that scientists gave was that Yeti actually exists. One of the evidences made scientist believe was the film of female yeti that was taken in California 30 years ago. Other evidences are reports of hikers seeing yeti in the mountains and also their footprints. The reason why report was so strongly supported and believable was because scientists noticed that no one would go up Himalayas and make a lie. One more report was sent from a team of hikers who climbed Mountain Everest. Most scientists believe the Yeti does not exist because there are no final results found yet to this answer. As to the evidence found by explorers that seems to support the existence of the yeti, none has...

open-ended wish – to find the meaning of life. The answer lies with a strange blond girl Lynn Linden who provides the protagonist with clues and signs through billboard messages, the non- existent Interstate 60, and the destination of an unknown package to a mysterious town called Danver. The movie begins with two college students in a bar, talking about a thesis statement for an upcoming paper. One of them makes an argument that America is unique in that it has no real mythological character for granting wishes, such as a genie or leprechaun. The two men are soon joined in conversation by an old man at the bar claiming that America does, named O.W. Grant; the son of aleprechaun and a Cheyenne Indian . Neal checks a number of roadmaps, but there does not appear to be an Interstate 60. Taking a guess, he sets out West, only to encounter O.W. Grant along the roadside. Grant happily greets Neal, and hands him a bag containing a 'birthday present
Nobody can tell, if they are all true or not, but at least they make the medieval capital much more intriguing and attractive for tourists as for the locals. How Ülemiste Elder will drown the town The most known legend of Tallinn is probably about the mythological Ülemiste Elder, who is believed to live in the Lake Ülemiste. Every autumn he is said to come to the Viru Gates and asks the guard, if the town is completed yet. The guard shall always answer that there is much to be done. If he would say that the town is completed, the Ülemiste Elder would flood Tallinn. How did the medieval Tallinn get its name Reval One day the Danish King Valdemar II was hunting

It is inspired by Aeschylus's Prometheus Bound and concerns Prometheus' release from captivity. Southern Viljandimaa and in the past years people have started to pay more attention to learning and developing the dialect. The mulgi inhabitants have always been characterised by strong connection to their old-established traditions and customs. At the same time, the way of life of the local people is characterised by strong families, marriage, children and respect and love for fellow men. The local cultural heritage offers as much variety as the nature. Many rare work and mythological motives are retained in folk songs. The flax-growing that spread rapidly in the beginning of the 19th century was the basis of the prosperous Mulgi family farms in Southern Viljandimaa. 19. The second half of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century constituted the golden age for many local families. expression of immense tensions caused by the French Revolution: "In other words, even as one side of David remained fanatically loyal to the Revolution, another side avoided its grim reality." (Roberts, 1989, p.90) This piece of art already predicts the end of revolution with the message that revolution puts too much political and personal press on people and that they cannot resist it any more. Conclusion In conclusion, Jacques-Louis David paved the way for Revolution with his historical, mythological and philosophical narrations. His greatest masterpieces like Marat, The Tennis Court Oath and The oath of Horatii are true historical representations of the French Revolution. People of the 18th century looked at his work to get inspired and to better understand contemporary occurrences. Same can be said about art historians and various history interpreters, who examine the ideas, motives and style of David to get a better understanding of the French revolution
Nevertheless, those Aborigines, who had to be mobile, had to have mobile belongings, like the coolamon, which was a curved wooden dish used to dig, to carry water or a baby, to toss seeds or collect the plant food. However, the Aborigines were very clever in making things out of noting, like fishing lines for example. They were made out of hair and strings. Bones were used as weapons and as needles. The "Dreamtime", the mythological past, is very important to the Aborigines. They believe that it was the time, when spirit ancestors had traveled throughout the land, giving it its physical form, and setting down the ruled to be followed by the Aboriginals. There are also many different stories or legends about powerful beings like the "Fertility Mother", the "Great Rainbow Snake". The story about Pemulwuy is also famous. As there were shortages of food and water, the Aborigines blamed supernatural forces for
From 1683 to 1939 the house belonged to the Huecks, a family that gave the city two burgomasters and six town councillors. Also some famous guests have stayed in the house, such as the 15th century artist Bernt Notke from Lübeck and later the Russian Czar Peter I. Legend has it that the czar planted the two lime trees growing in front of the house. 8 Numerous Baroque features of interior design have been later added to to the originally Gothic house, including a mythological painted ceiling to the Rape of Europa theme. The main stairs with a balustrade and a small portrait gallery of the Hueck family (actually copies) enhance the cosy diele. Tallinn City Museum has a model reconstructing the original appearance of the building. With reference to Hueck House, there were a number of spirit and ghost stories and also legends in the Middle Ages. Most of

He makes every effort to keep world of psychology and world of theology separate. Regardless of that, in his works those are subtly connected in many ways. Stating generally- Jung looks at theology through the eyes of his analytical psychology. According to his doctrine human psyhe is very dynamic and complex system consisting of many interactive particles. Jung sees as a main source of his theology numinous human experiences and dreams. Same importance he assumes to the general human mythological inheritance- different religions, myths and fairy- tales. According to those Jung formulates his theology and tries only secondarily connect it to the Christian dogmatics. Should inconsistency arise- dogmatics have to give the way, because general human experience relies on world inheritance and is therefore ,,empirical". Concerning strictly to the question of good and evil, Jung gives up metaphysics. He says that
