My favourite part of town

My favorite part of town Toila Oru Park My Favorite part of town is called Toila Oru park, which is located 20 km outside the city. The park includes castle complex, luxurious gardens with more than 800 sorts of plants, large beach, amazing terraces, cafés, mysterious spring cave, singing stage and much more. One of the main reason I like it is that there you can always find place for yourself. You can walk in the park, relax on the beach, read on a park bench or just enjoy incredibly beautiful views. There are a lot of interesting places to see. One of the most visited places are the area near terrace, where you can find wonderful rose garden, which is very colorful and aromatic. At the beginning this land was owned by Grigori Jelissejev in 1897

Interstate 60 film review

Interstate 60 film review The storyline is based on the main character Neal Oliver having his birthday wish come true – an open-ended wish – to find the meaning of life. The answer lies with a strange blond girl Lynn Linden who provides the protagonist with clues and signs through billboard messages, the non- existent Interstate 60, and the destination of an unknown package to a mysterious town called Danver. The movie begins with two college students in a bar, talking about a thesis statement for an upcoming paper. One of them makes an argument that America is unique in that it has no real mythological character for granting wishes, such as a genie or leprechaun. The two men are soon joined in conversation by an old man at the bar claiming that America does, named O.W. Grant; the son of aleprechaun and a Cheyenne Indian .

Ning pärast paari ebaõnnestunud katset mõnes tõsisemas zanris, kirjutas Agatha Christie 1918. aastal "Saladusliku juhtumi Stylesis" (The Mysterious Affair in Styles). Film review

A film I have enjoyed recently is The Beach. What made me want to see it was the title first of all, and I also heard that my favourite actor Leonardo Di Caprio plays in that film. It was directed by Danny Boyle and it stars two young actors, Leonardo Di Caprio and Robert Carlyle. The film is set in Thailand. The main character is a young American man who travels to Thailand in search of the perfect vacation. During a stay in Bangkok, he meets a mysterious man who tells him about a secret beach. Richard then heads for southern Thailand in search of the island. Along the way, he meets a young French couple, Françoise and Étienne and he shares the secret of the island with them. The three then start to find the island and finally they get there. Heading further inland, they find a hidden beach where a small clan of travellers has settled. After their arrival many scary things start to happen.

How has the nature of fame changed?

Is there anything different in the way they are or how they became famous? It’s no surprise that the way celebrities present themselves has changed immeasurably since the Golden Age of Hollywood. Back in the day, celebrities were presented as incomparably glamorous, flawless beings, closer to gods than humans. Fame was controlled not by the famous and certainly not by the audience, but by the owners of the media. The lives of the rich and the famous used to be mysterious and even inexplicable. It was so foreign and artificial a construct that we thought that fame made you special. The rise of reality TV, however, was a major step in the changing nature of celebrity. “Normal people” became stars overnight. The dominance of smartphones and social media has meant that the public records everything: nervous breakdowns, breakups and displays of erratic behavior, and popular celebrities seem to have become beloved

My Teacher

My teacher There are many teachers in the World, but no such else have I seen as I have now. When furious, her eyes have a poisonous flame of danger in it; when glad, her silent praise is like the soft wind of pleasing sakuras. Every day we spend no matter the emotional appearance, is filled with lots of happy laughter and fun remarks no other teacher even notices about her students: my teacher is a really special, yet mysterious person. Her light eyes turn grey on rainy days, blue on sunny ones; sweet dimples decorate her blushing cheeks when she smiles; a little piped pink lips with big soft edges make her complexion sparkle every moment they say something she would be perfect if her character wasn't so ill-natured sometimes. She gets angry too easily: every word that comes to our mind must be carefully thought through before spoken out loudly. One day, for example, we were just jok...

was also of ground-breaking importance in terms of composition. Unfortunately two of the three were never finished and the third took so long that it was subject to lengthy negotiations over completion and payment. One of these paintings is that of. Among the works created by Leonardo in the 1500s is the small portrait known as the Mona Lisa or ''la Gioconda", the laughing one. The painting is famous, in particular, for the elusive smile on the woman's face, its mysterious quality brought about perhaps by the fact that the artist has subtly shadowed the corners of the mouth and eyes so that the exact nature of the smile cannot be determined. The shadowy quality for which the work is renowned came to be called Leonardo's Smoke. During his lifetime Leonardo was valued as an engineer. In a letter to Ludovico il Moro he claimed to be able to create all sorts of machines both for the protection of a city and for siege

The Matlock Paper Book Review

The Matlock Paper book review Interesting and gripping but it had its downside, I think that there were way too many descriptions about people. Despite of that I enjoyed reading The Matlock Paper, Robert Ludlums´ 3rd thriller novel. Story is about English professor, James Barbour Matlock who is recruited by the Department of Justice to investigate a drug smuggling ring, led by a mysterious figure named „Nimrod.“ Everything starts with a man named Ralph Loring, who approaches Matlock, whose brother died due to an overdose of heroin. Ralph feeds James with the information that the justice department has acquired over the years on Nimrod. Heared everything he just couldn´t resist taking the job although it puts his life in danger. Loring also gives James the document that plays very important role in this book. Just in the beginning of the book Loring is brutally murdered within minutes after a meeting with Matlock. James still decides t...

them. She discovers that Mr.Rochesters wife has burnt down the house and committed suicide and he himself was left blind because of the fire. Jane pays him a visit and can't find it in her heart to leave Mr.Rochester to die alone. They live happily together, have children and in the end Mr.Rochester regains his sight. In my opinion the reason why Jane, and everyone else in the book, were so attracted to Mr.Rochester was because of his mysterious and deep appearance. Jane must have felt really special that she cought his eye out of all the women. That despite all the bitterness she was the only chosen one that could mend his broken heart and offer him happiness. She'd help him change his old ways and together they would live happy ever after. The same phenomenon often repeats itself in other books and even in life. It might even be a motherly instinct for women to try to rescue a troubled handsome male. Whatever the reason might

"The Game" - Neil Strauss

The game by Neil Strauss It`s a story about a man who knows nothing about girls, but then not only meets a secret society of pick-up artists who teach him how meet beautiful women and also becomes THE master pick-up artist himself. His students and his teachers go to him in search for tips on how to deal and meet with women. It's based on a true story. This book provides a fascinating account of what made Neil Strauss the Syle, his seduction society. Therefore this book will make you WANT to know who he is. Not only does this book take a fascinating look into the many methods of gaining women's attention--and phone numbers--but describes in detail the characters who make up this "society of pick-up artists", as well. It's not a lesson-by-lesson book detailing "forbidden" methods of "tricking" women into going to bed with you. It's actually more of one man's personal number of frustrations and victorie...

Agatha Christie "Partners in crime"

The Book This book is a short-story collection about two characters who are not as popular as Poirot or Miss Marple. They are Tommy and Tuppence Beresford, a married couple. Tommy works for some kind of a agency which tells them to run a detective agency to catch a Russian spy. Tuppence was delighted because before that she was very bored and she had nothing to do. Before catching the spy they start working as real detectives. They are pretty good at solving mysterious cases because they are great fans of detective novels. Tommy and Tuppence like to role play. Every time they have a costumer they parody all kinds of famous fictional detectives from Dr Thorndyke to Hercule Poirot. Tommy is Poirot in the last chapter when he catches the spy. All mini stories were great but my favourite one was called The Unbreakable Alibi. A man comes to them with a request to outsmart his future wife. The woman had

Spain Culture presentation

The Spanish culture is rich, colorful and mysterious. Its culture and lifestyle differs tremendously from that of the other European countries. Bull Running: Every year in July thousands go to Pamplona to start Spain's most famous bull-running fiesta to honor the saint San Fermin. Runners, mainly young men, gather at the bottom of Santo Domingo. Then, a number of fighting bulls are let out onto the streets. The bulls run along the narrow street to a bull ring. The runners dash along in front of the bulls, trying to avoid getting gored by their sharp horns. When the bulls finally reach the end of the street, they go into enclosure and are kept until that day they are killed in a bullfight. Flamenco: The Spanish culture is also closely related to the famous Flamenco style. This passionate form of dance first originated in Andalusia, is around 200 years old and was originally considered to be a gypsy dance. It is a colorful dance that is...

Jane Eyre

Consider the role of Jane's aunt and cousin. These characters are untrustworthy and cruel in the book and the film. For instance, the scene in which Jane is physically assaulted by her cousin appears in both book and film. Consider the importance of Sarah Poole. In the book, Jane suspects she is the person responsible for the fire and the stabbing at Thornfield Hall. In the film, Sarah is hardly mentioned. Adele talks about a mysterious woman who appears at night but this plot line is not developed further in the film. Evaluate the portrayal of Jane's strength of character. Many factors showing that she is a strong woman are present in the book and the film. For example, Edward Rochester asks Jane Eyre to detail her "tale of woe" but she refuses. Despite the harsh conditions she faces, her character is compelling because she remains strong and the film follows the book in emphasizing this point. Jane's rescue of

Dahl published his first short story in the ''Saturday Evening Post'' He went on to write stories and articles for other magazines, including ''The New Yorker'' Dahl wrote his first story for children, ''The Gremlins'' in 1942, for Walt Disney. The story wasn't terribly successful, so Dahl went back to writing mysterious stories for adult readers. He continued in this vein into the 1950s, producing the best-selling story collection ''Someone Like You '' in 1953 and ''Kiss, Kiss'' in 1959. He also had a successful career as the writer of adult short stories, usually with a dark sense of humour and a surprise ending. Without her realizing it, the time for preparing herself has slipped away. Alerted by Bella's stricken silence on the way home, Edward drags an admission out of her that she is isn't really ready, but Bella insists that the combined threat from Victoria, the Volturi, and the recent mysterious intruder in her room makes it too dangerous to postpone her transformation. Edward insists that he won't let her go through with this until she feels safe and can freely decide what she really wants. Movie review

Leonardo DiCaprio plays Dom Cobb. Dom is a professional extractor, paid to invade people's subconscious and steal information that lays nuzzled in their psyche. His team consists of the point man Arthur (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), the architect Ariadne (Ellen Page), and the forger Eames (Tom Hardy). They are hired by Mr. Saito (Ken Watanabe) to infiltrate Robert Fischer's (Cillian Murphy) head to peform an inception to create and plant an idea in his mind. The problem is that memories of Dom's mysterious wife Mal (Marion Cotillard) and children keep invading his dreams, and won't let him accomplish the job without constantly throwing him off task. These haunting demons fill Cobb's head, and he just wants to find his way back to reality to be reunited with his children once again. That's all I'll reveal about the plot because to attempt to summarize it in more detail, would not only be an exercise in futility, but I also don't want to ruin the fun for anyone.

Kirjutama ajendas Agatha Christie`t õieti juhus. Kord väitis ta õde, et on võimatu kirjutada head kriminaalromaani. Ning pärast paari ebaõnnestunud katset mõnes tõsisemas zanris, kirjutas Agatha Christie 1918. aastal "Saladusliku juhtumi Stylesis" (The Mysterious Affair in Styles). Kirjastajad selle romaani vastu esialgu huvi ei tundnud, kuid 1920. aastal avaldas selle siisk...
