possibilities for students to learn Chinese, universities could encourage the learning and increase the motivation of students by organising more events and activities where the students have a possibility to use the language. The language teachers have also more responsibilities in China than in Estonia. In China they are required to organize various activities such as language practice lessons during weekends which are optional for students. The consulting hours when the lecturers are required to be in their office are also usually longer than in Estonia. In conclusion, there are many differences between teaching Chinese in China and in Estonia, teaching being easier in China because of the higher level of motivation the students usually have, greater amount of authority that the lecturer has, and the language environment which supports the learning. But being a teacher is easier in Estonia because of the smaller amount of responsibilities.

The use of the rule is widespread, although there are situations where we lecturers just use it as a quality parameter (mainly related to the spotting phase) in sentences like "it does not fit" or "it can't be properly read", and then pro- pose the students to copy their subtitles into a commercial program (usually "Sub- title Workshop", being it a free-downloadable software) to let them check as viewers if the rule has been properly applied or not. Unfortunately, this program does not make reading speed calculations that the students may use as an additional check.

The miseducation of the African will continue as long as we continue to depend on Europeans and Caucasian Americans to do everything for us. We have hundreds of thousands graduating from universities and colleges throughout the world. We have hundreds of thousands teaching at universities and colleges and other institutions of higher learning. With all these multitudes of lecturers and professors, you would expect to see a lot of research work coming out of these individuals or inventions of some kind being attributed to our people. The authentic education of the African will start not just with changing the historical, cultural, political and economic history books of our schools. Rather it will start when already educated Africans abandon the easy way out by producing what they need rather depending on Europeans and Caucasian Americans
