sizes depend on terrain, vegetation, and abundance of prey. A single male lion may require up to 175 square miles of territory for its home range. They prefer wild areas frequented by deer. One lion will consume about one deer per week. A lion will cover the remains of its prey and return to the kill to feed until the meat begins to turn. If you find a lion kill, don't hang around the area. The animal may still be nearby. An adult can weigh up to 200 pounds. It is the second heaviest cat in the New World, after the jaguar, and the fourth heaviest in the world, after the tiger, lion, and jaguar, although it is most closely related to smaller felines. Cougars are good climbers and can leap more than 20 feet up into a tree from a standstill. They can jump to the ground from as high as 60 feet up a tree. A single male lion may travel 25 miles a night while hunting. Cougars may be active by day in areas far from humans. They are most

..................................................................................................................................................... About 80-100 million years ago, New Zealand drifted away from the massive supercontinent of Gondwanaland into the South Pacific. Since then, a unique flora and fauna has evolved, with a large number of beautiful native birds and plants, as well as direct descendants of prehistoric wildlife, including the tuatara, weta (the world's heaviest insect), and giant snail. As Time magazine said, New Zealand is an "ultimate storehouse for discontinued zoological models". A reptile with links to the dinosaur, the native tuatara is found mainly on islands around New Zealand's coast. Every species of this reptile family, except the tuatara, died out around 65 million years ago. Tuatara can live for over 100 years, and were once found throughout New Zealand. Now only around 30,000 are found on protected offshore islands.

In Lake Peipsi you can find rare species of fish such as the lake whitefish and the Peipsi smelt
Every line has its King. A king is a writer whose pieces are the most visible, biggest and most beautiful. Kings are respected by other writers who sometimes ask them to help paint pieces at night. In 1975 all the standards has been set. A new school was about to reap the benefits of the artistic foundations established by prior generations in a city in the midst of a financial crisis. New York City was broke, therefore the transit system was poorly maintained. This led to the heaviest bombing in history. Writers began to increase the thickness of the letters and would also outline them with an additional colour. Caps from other aerosol products could provide a larger width of spray, leading to the development of the masterpiece. It is difficult to say who did the first masterpiece, it is commonly credited to Super Kool 223 of the Bronx and Wap of Brooklyn. The thicker letters provides the opportunity to enhance further the name. Writers decorate the interior of the

Dating from 1853, it was a series of inclined cast-iron columns resting on stone pedestals connected at the top by cast-iron arches, the whole system braced by wrought-iron ties. Examples surviving today in North America include the Kinzua Viaduct (1900) on the former Erie Railroad in Pennsylvania (Figure 15), and the Lethbridge Viaduct (1909) on the Canadian Pacific in Alberta, composed of alternating 67ft (20m) trestles and 100ft (30m) girders, at 5327ft (1624m) long the longest and heaviest in the world. The Tunkhannock Viaduct (1915), 240ft high (73m) by 2375ft long (724m), is the largest reinforced concrete-arch bridge in the world. Suspension bridges Although suspension bridges had been known in China as early as 206 BC, the first chain suspension bridge did not appear in Europe until 1741, when the 70ft (21m) span Winch Bridge was constructed over a chasm of the River Tees (UK), with the flooring laid directly on two chains. declining with only Russian banks penetrating the market. Some Western banks are downsizing their activities, and a few at least wish to exit, if they only could without losing their past investments. In spite of inevitably worsening demographics, a huge pension burden was created. In a nation of 46 million inhabitants, the pensions of 14 million pensioners grew from 9.2 percent of GDP in 2003 to almost 18 percent in 2009. This is one of the heaviest pension burdens 9 globally, and negative demographics will continue to worsen the situation if needed measures, like increasing the general pension age, are not taken. The end of cheap gas By the mid-2000s, Russia had reached several conclusions on energy and money that started to rock Ukraine's position. The much-needed energy efficiency demanded a huge change in the whole of economy and society--as in Ukraine--a process known in Russia as
The sea winds also bring plentiful rains. Britain is not as cold as most places so far north. Summers are mild, with daytime highs about 220C in the south, about 180C in Scotland. Winters are cool – night-time temperatures drop nearly to freezing, but rarely much below, except in the colder Scottish highland areas. Within Britain there are differences of climate and rainfall between north and south, east and west. The north is on average 5 0C cooler than the south. The heaviest rains fall in the highland areas of the west and north. The surface is varied too. The north and west are mountainous or hilly. Much of the south and east is flat or low- lying. That means that the south and east on the whole have better agricultural conditions, and it is possible to harvest crops much earlier than in the north. So it is not surprising that south-east Britain has always been the most populated part of the island. For this reason it has always had the most political power.
Ramit Sethi has always joked about his "Indian frailty." He had wanted to add muscle to his 127-pound frame for years, but it didn't happen until he made one simple addition to his life: another bet. Ramit has an entire folder in his Gmail dedicated to bets against friends, all adding up to about $8,000 in prize money. This time, he bet them all that he could gain 15 pounds of muscle in three months. In the rst seven days alone, he gained ve pounds and was the heaviest he'd ever been. In the end, he added 20% to his bodyweight--surpassing 15 pounds--while keeping his bodyfat low. Now, three years later, he's maintained his new muscular weight almost to the exact pound. There were three reasons it worked after years of failing to gain weight. 1. He used a bet and tracked results publicly Ramit set up a free PBworks wiki page (like the pages found on Wikipedia) and invited all the bettors to receive noti cations when he updated his weight
The colour can also be restricted to the ends of each hair. This is caused by a gene for silver. Chinchilla (shell) is the lightest form of tipping or shading - hair tip is coloured and hair shaft is silver, giving a sparkling appearance. Shaded is the next degree - the colour extends further along the hair shaft, darkest on the back (where fur is longer) to create a mantle of shading. Smoke is the heaviest tipping - the undercoat colour is reduced to a small band near the hair root so that the cat appears to be solid colour with a pale ruff until the coat is parted and you can see the silver roots. In goldens, the effect is similar except that the hair shaft is gold rather than white. These cats are still self colours, but the colour distribution has been modified! There is another effect known as silver-tipping; this is the sparkling silver tips to the
national cultural problems were discussed. Aivo Lõhmus wrote: What kind of situation exists at this moment? Is it really a permanent state of war? It is a civil war during which the rulers have never chosen the means, but the nation had no possibilities to choose anything. 1 Lennart Meri, author and scriptwriter added: As the result of World War II Estonia lost 24 per cent of its population. Compared with other European countries the Estonians suffered relatively the heaviest bereavements. The young Estonian family is our painful problem. In the year 1986 Soviet migrants occupied 67 per cent of all the new apartments with modern conveniences. This is nothing other than the discrimination of the native people. 2 In the summer of 1988 Rahvarinne (People’s Front)3 was formed and became the first popular national movement. At the end of 1988 the Estonian Supreme Soviet passed the Declaration of Sovereignty of the ESSR. In the spring of 1990 the

Unrelieved tension, suspense, and conflict can be emotion ally exhausting, and in even the heaviest drama an audience's interest is revived by moments of laughter. An old rule of drama points out the need for balance: Make 'em cry a lot; let 'em laugh a little. Tricksters may be servants or Allies working for the hero or Shadow, or they may be independent agents with their own skewed agendas. T h e Tricksters of mythology provide many examples of the workings of this archetype. One of the most colorful is Loki, the Norse god of trickery and deceit. A
The message was picked up by a Funkaufklarungsdienst unit recently posted near Athens. Soon its cryptanalysts had reduced it to plaintext. Lieutenant Christian Ochsen-schlager then passed to all defense commands "interested or affected" a message stating that a large formation of four-engined bombers, believed to be Liberators, had been taking off since early morning in the Bengazi area. This gave the antiaircraft defenses at Ploesti, the heaviest in Europe, plenty of time to get ready. When the bombers roared at derrick-top height over the Rumanian oil field, with its wells, refineries, and tanks, they were met with the worst flak encountered by American bombers during the war. Of the 178, 53, or almost every third plane, were downed, and dozens of Americans died. The German cryptanalytic agency that probably had the greatest effect upon the course of the war was also the smallest and least known. It belonged to the O.K.M
