These things are: rudimentary democratic consent, universal access to human essentials and accessibility to other desirable items. If these aspects are not fulfilled; it is not a good society. In my opinion, good society is not the thing what suits for everybody, because if you will not agree with good society standards, you really are not the person who would be advantageous for this kind of society. Person who is not accepting these standards is communist and only fits in to the dictatorship supportive countries. For being appropriate member for food society you have to accept other people needs and at the same time sacrifice some of your own needs. Good society is not a paradise. Universal access to human essentials means that everyone have the rights to access elementary things for living, such as: air, water, food, protection from harsh weather (clothing and shelter), and safety from harm
Humans are the most deceitful animals in the World. Even if we do not want to confess it to ourselves, we have to accept the fact that humans constantly change their ways of thinking and acting to make the World a better place to live in for themselves. Our lives are fulfilled with lies we enter to our or someone else's mind. A lot of it is connected to people's constant need of power and control. "Animal Farm" is a book that reverberates that kind of human nature through politics, dictatorship and power, but in nowadays' World this kind of behaviour occurs also in our everyday life, not only politics. First of all humans are in a constant need of power. The essence of the power does not even matter as long as they have some kind of control. It could be control over some group, over a person and his mind, actions and thoughts or just over a certain situation where we want to gain a higher role so everything could be under their command.

poorer countries to increase their food production. The final one is the United Nations Educational , Scientific and Cultural Organization UNESCO. Its help is more known more in the poorer parts of the world rather than the industrialized nations. 3. After the World War Two the United States and the USSR were the dominant military powers in the world, but they had very different forms of government and economy, the USA a capitalist democracy, USSR a communist dictatorship. The two nations were rivals who feared each other, each ideologically opposed. The war also left Russia in control of large areas of Eastern Europe, and the US led Allies in control of the West (each had atomic weapons) . Arguments also rose about Poland. The USSR wanted Poland to have a communist government while the others wanted a democratic. Finally they agreed on democratic elections but most of the candidates were communist so the communist still got to power
11 Southern States decided to break away from the Union. The Federal Government did not allow this and a bloody Civil War began. In 1865, the North won the war. The Constitution was amended to abolish slavery and solidify the Union. When World War I began in 1914, America tried to stay out of the fighting, but it did not want Germany to win. In 1917 it entered the war as an ally of Britian and France. The allies won in 1918. In 1933, a Nazi dictatorship came to power in Germany. World War II began in 1939. again most Americans wanted to stay out of the war. They were called isolationists. America stayed out of the war until 1941, when its own territoy was attacked. After that, Americans were again fighting alongside the British in a common cause and they won. When the war ended in 1945, only two great powers were left: the USA and the Soviet Union. While Soviet forces helped Communists take power, America formed NATO in 1949.
By 1645 Charles ran out of money and his army deserted. He was defeated at the battle of Naseby, captured and imprisoned. It took them four years to decide what to do with them. They decided to behead him in 1649. After his beheading the Commonwealth or Cromwell's republic was created. However, the government was too severe and it fell in 1660. The Commonwealth abolished the House of Lords, the Anglican Church and Scotland went under Cromwell's rule. 1653 it became a dictatorship. The army was used to retain law and order. The country strictly observed Puritan beliefs no celebration of Christmas or Easter, no games on Sunday. Cromwell died in 1658, his son was his successor, but fucked up. In 1660 Charles II was invited to return to the throne. He was a good and judicious diplomat. Was Catholic yet allowed both Puritans and Catholics to follow their beliefsystems. The first political parties were founded during that time: The Whigs and The Tories.
Manuel II of Portugal become the new king, but was eventually overthrown by the 5 October 1910 revolution, which abolished the regime and instated republicanism in Portugal. Political instability and economic weaknesses were fertile ground for chaos and unrest during the Portuguese First Republic. These conditions would lead to the failed Monarchy of the North, the 28 May 1926 coup d'état, and the creation of the National Dictatorship (Ditadura Nacional). This in turn led to the establishment of the right-wing dictatorship of the Estado Novo under António de Oliveira Salazar in 1933. Portugal was one of only five European countries to remain neutral in World War II. From the 1940s to the 1960s, Portugal was a founding member of NATO, OECD and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA). Gradually, new economic development projects and relocation of mainland Portuguese citizens into the

Murphy undertakes her journey with mixed expectations: on the one hand, she is eager to share the happiness of a dictatorship-free nation; on the other, she expects to find `much hardship, tension, dissention, suspicion' (1992, p. xiv). part of the Russian democratic federal republic. As a political ideal, some Estonian leaders (Jaan Tõnisson) already mentioned independent statehood and a complete break from Russia. In defence of Estonian national interests, the Estonian soldiers and officers serving in the Russian army were united into a national army unit, an Estonian division. In October 1917, the Bolsheviks seized power, soon established a one-party dictatorship and started to implement the utopian ideals of their egalitarian communism. The Soviet power nationalised the banks and large enterprises and prepared to assume possession of the mainly Baltic German manor houses. As it neglected to give land to the peasants and ignored the pursuits of national self-determination, it failed to find support among most of the Estonian population. On 28 November 1917, the Land council proclaimed itself the highest power in

instability. To avoid the possibility of Vabadussõjalaste Liit (Estonian Independence War Veterans’ League) seizing power, the Head of State Konstantin Päts enacted a state of national emergency in March 1934. The parliament was dissolved, all political parties disbanded, and to replace them Isamaaliit (Fatherland League) was founded. It was a relatively mild authoritarian regime, yet it cannot be considered a total dictatorship. 1 The “official nationalism” with its corporative nature was criticised by intellectuals. The Estonian Writers’ Association, however, supported the steps taken by the government. Social life stabilized and the economic situation improved.
