A celebrity is a person who works hard all his life to become well known, and then wears darkglasses to avoid being recognized.
Who wouldn’t want to be in the spotlight? Being a celebrity means having nice cars, gigantic villas , clothes from famous fashions designers and a shot on the front cover of a magazine each week. The first answer among children to the question ‘Who would you like to be in the future?’ most likely tends to be a singer , a model, a dancer , or simply: a superstar.
Some parents wish to realise their dreams on their children . For example, in their youth they aspired to become famous, but failed and now force their children to work hard to realise their dreams for them . A perfect example for such faith is Michael Jackson . His father started to create a superstar of Michael when he was in a very early age. Many people have said that Michael Jackson lost his childhood and tried to realize it when he was a grown -up. His father was very tough on him and to his brothers and sisters . As a result , however , he did become a superstar. Maybe there was a time when he was happy about being recognized. But in the last ten years of his life, he tried to avoid from being recognized. There were many rumours about him, which he tried to escape from. There is no doubt that Michael Jackson is one of the greatest singers of all times , but what did he gain from it?
I think people are happy only when they do things what they like in the way how they like. There is no sense is being someone you are not. We are born to this life as individuals so we shouldn’t try to be someone who we are not. There are many disadvantages for being famous, thus one should think carefully before which career to choose .

Edulugude võistlus Success-story competition „Small Town Inhabitants – Educated or Uneducated People“ To begin with, my childhood was quite ordinary, I spent a lot of time in my country home, spending most of my time playing. I have been raised by my mother. As I grew older, I got more and more interested in different things. At one point it occured to me that when I want to be successful in some field, then I really have to educate myself in that filed. When my friends have characterised me then they have mainly mentioned that I am an active person, who has been successful in different fields. I still do not think I am succesful because it is a really complicated definition, but I know that I have succeeded in doing several things. For me the key is my so called success has been that when dealing with a particular thing I have tried to delve into the subject as deep as possible. Firstly, when we are talking about success and asking the question who is a succesful person, we h

The making of a new nation. The Enlightenment in America. The emergence of the notion of the American Dream. The great Enlighteners: Crèvecoeur, Jefferson, Paine, Franklin. The American Enlightenment is the intellectual thriving period in the United States in the midtolate 18th century (17151789), especially as it relates to American Revolution on the one hand and the European Enlightenment on the other. Influenced by the scientific revolution of the 17th century and the humanist period during the Renaissance, the Enlightenment took scientific reasoning and applied it to human nature, society, and religion. American Enlightenment a gradual but powerful awakening that established the ideals of democracy, liberty, and religious tolerance in the people of America. If there were just one development that directly caused the American Revolution and uplifted the intellectual culture of the continent while it was only a British colony, it would be the American Enlightenment. Philip Larkin poetry analysis

Philip Larkin poetry analysis For my poetry analysis paper I chose Philip Larkin's works, because he was the first British poet whose works I read. I think that his poems are interesting. They reveal much about Larkin's life and about the social issues in the 20th century. Larkin is also considered to be one of the greatest English poets in the 20th century. I think that Larkin was quite interested in politics. For example his poem ´´Talking in Bed´´ begins with the lines /Talking in bed ought to be easiest, Lying together there goes back so far/. At first it gives the reader an idea that he is talking about two lovers, but actually he is talking about England and USA. He describes the darkness that is creeping up. In my opinion he is talking about USA, which is beginning to creep up on England or on Europe. And because of that England is becoming a less dominant and more isolated place. He is saying that intimacy is dying and that may repr
