A celebrity is a person who works hard all his life to become well known, and then wears darkglasses to avoid being recognized. A celebrity is a person who works hard all his life to become well known, and then wears darkglasses to avoid being recognized. Who wouldn't want to be in the spotlight? Being a celebrity means having nice cars, gigantic villas, clothes from famous fashions designers and a shot on the front cover of a magazine each week. The first answer among children to the question `Who would you like to be in the future?' most likely tends to be a singer, a model, a dancer, or simply: a superstar. Some parents wish to realise their dreams on their children. For example, in their youth they aspired to become famous, but failed and now force their children to work hard to realise their

the Golden Age of Hollywood. Back in the day, celebrities were presented as incomparably glamorous, flawless beings, closer to gods than humans. Fame was controlled not by the famous and certainly not by the audience, but by the owners of the media. The lives of the rich and the famous used to be mysterious and even inexplicable. It was so foreign and artificial a construct that we thought that fame made you special. The rise of reality TV, however, was a major step in the changing nature of celebrity. “Normal people” became stars overnight. The dominance of smartphones and social media has meant that the public records everything: nervous breakdowns, breakups and displays of erratic behavior, and popular celebrities seem to have become beloved for being like us – or at least more photogenic versions of us. These days, celebrity at the most basic level, just simply means “being known” among a group of people and having a certain opinion that others look up to
Company was founded in 1903. Pepsi markets itself as a rebel drink that is mainly for teenagers and often they refer to themselves as "a drink of the new- generation". Pepsi's Latest advertisement is with Sofia Vergara advertising the new Diet Pepsi slender can. That advertisement caused a lot of arguing and media attention because many people think that Sofia Vergara is made thinner using Photoshop. That is typical Pepsi advertisement because they are using a celebrity (Sofia Vergara) and appealing more to younger people. They are using their signature colors red & blue. Advertisement is supposed to make us think that when we think Diet Pepsi we will not gain calories and will look like the celebrity on the picture but gossip that picture is changed with Photoshop has decreased the faith in Diet Pepsi in my opinion. I think that the advertisement has gained a lot of attention but in my opinion people are focusing more

is going on in our world. We complain that there aren't enough intelligent in the world and yet we are being misinformed by what is supposed to be our main source of information. Television is powerful enough to make our shopping easier. Actually, it is makeing us lazier. TV shows such as the Home Shopping Network make shopping easy as dialing some numbers on a touch tone phone. People are also convinced to buy a certain product because a celebrity is presenting it. I believe that television has us all trapped in a world vhere we believe everything that is being said. As technology keeps advancing there will be less tasks for us to do. Television is on of the many advances in technology that has made our lives easier, or should i say it has made us lazier? Whether that is good or bad, i don't know, but what i do know is that technology is robbing us of our ability to think for ourselves.
4 KASUTATUD ALLIKAD http://www.ritaora.com/us/home http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rita_Ora http://www.aceshowbiz.com/celebrity/rita_ora/biography.html http://www.last.fm/music/Rita+Ora/+images/80936341 5

We are pursuing other relationships and have decided to separate, but for the well-being of The Royal Family, we are not having a divorce. 1992 December: Diana has used her popularity and celebrity status to keep herself afloat and in a position of power. CHARLES DICKENS WHY WE STILL LOVE CHARLES DICKENS 200 YEARS ON WHAT WAS IT ABOUT CHARLES DICKENS THAT MADE HIM NOT ONLY A CELEBRITY IN HIS OWN TIME BUT AS EQUALLY CELEBRATED TWO CENTURIES AFTER HIS BIRTH? This course will examine his novels, his journalism and the social causes for which he campaigned. Through analysis of his writing, his activism and his life, students will explore his relationship with the Victorian age and beyond. In addition to discussing Dickens' life and works, students will explore Dickens' world on foot, through field trips around London and the county of Kent, where Dickens spent
was able to build an armor suit and a reactor to escape. His extensive knowledge about quantum mechanics and artificial intelligence helped him to produce a new element his father had discovered which saved his life in Iron Man 2, replacing venomous palladium in his chest. Iron Man's main strength was Tony Stark's intelligence. A plausible character needs to have weaknesses alongside his strengths. Tony Stark was an extreme example of the celebrity stereotype narcissistic, flashy, arrogant and rude. His dual life as a superhero caused him numerous personal problems. For example, he repeatedly suffered from alcoholism. Iron Man's heart condition was his other weakness worth mentioning. His heart had been replaced by a transplant powered by palladium core which was slowly killing him during Iron Man 2. Iron Man didn't seem to have any physical weaknesses at least when he was in his suit. Tony Stark repeatedly said that his technology

In addition to learning to write in braille, Helen placed a ruler on the page as a guide and drew very square block letters. 6. In 1888, Helen left home for the first time. She and Anne attended the Perkins School for the Blind as a guest of the director, Michael Anagnos. Helen became an overnight celebrity. However, her friendship with Anagnos suffered when she was accused of plagiarism[plaigarisam]. Helen had written a story entitled "The Frost King" for Anagnos's birthday. It was a lot like a story Helen had heard once, long before, and perhaps she remembered parts of it without realizing it. Some people said Helen's writing was just too good for someone who couldn't see or hear nature with her own eyes and ears. 7. But Helen had spent most of her childhood outside
fashion, this opens a huge scope for imagination of their fragile minds. In fact, fashion is not what it seems. Youth imitates their idols, copy the actions of others . The beauty of the person has been spoken about for many centuries . But with the beginning of a new century, the concept of beauty has changed in the other direction. Celebrities and their visual fashion statements affect the fashion industry and also the clothes of teenagers. “Researchers say that many teenagers are emulating celebrity idols like Mischa Barton, Lindsay Lohan, Hilary Duff, and Chris Martin (the singer of Coldplay), some scarcely out of their teens themselves, to cultivate an impression of maturity” Young people and fashion occupy an important place in modern society. Both of these concepts are quite complex and interesting to explore, and they both are components of the culture as a whole. Fashion today permeates all spheres of life. Youth is the group to which it is directed mainly

We watched a film called "The Island". It talked about a big group of people who were really clones of rich and famous people who lived in the real world. The clones thought that the outer world was almost destroyed and that there was only one beautiful island left where only chosen people were sent. When the famous person from the real world got madly hurt his clone was told that he would go to the island. In reality they took the clones organs that were inserted to the hurt celebrity. My opinion is that this may be possible to do this kind of things in the year of 2018 but I don't think they really will use anything similar to this method. It was very cruel and I'm sure the humankind would immediately protest against this thing. At the moment it is not allowed to clone people, I think it's unrealistic that in 15 years' time things would really change so much. Organs from dead people can be donated to people who need them to survive.
