However, getting a credit card is also a huge responsibility and if you do not keep an eye on your spendings, you may get into some serious trouble. That raises a question- are credit cards a blessing or a curse? On one hand, credit cards are comfortable and easy to use and they can make buying things much less stressful, because you do not have to carry along huge amounts of cash. Buying on credit

Buying on credit A credit card is a great way to cover one`s expenses when the next paycheck hasn`t arrived yet. Such kind of activity is the most popular in the Unites States of America. Advertisers always praise how buying on credit is beneficial but people also need to get familiar with it`s disadvantages. First of the various utilities is space savings. It is very easy to carry on credit card in a purse because it takes less room than a bundle of dollar bills. Secondly, when we lose cash then it´s permanently gone but in case of missing credit card it is possible to cancel the bank account. Another important benefit is ability to handle expenses that might be out of one´s reach. In case of an emergency, such as car breakdown or illness, it is very useful. Despite of great advantages, people should keep in mind it`s downsides. A credit card leads people to unresponsible spending

The person whose identity has been assumed may suffer adverse consequences if they are held responsible for the perpetrator's actions. Identity theft occurs when someone uses another's personally identifying information, like their name, identifying number, or credit card number, without their permission, to commit fraud or other crimes.[1] Criminals can even use seemingly harmless pieces of information, such as your date of birth, to commit identity theft. For & against about credit cards.

Using credit cards Credit cards have been very popular for two decades already. There are many ways to pay for your shoppings and not to worry about how much money you really have. First of all, credit cards are an amazing invention because it makes our everyday-lives so much easier. We do not have to carry cash with us, we can pay by a credit card. Carrying cash is actually pretty dangerous because you can get robbed. But when your card gets stolen, you just call to the bank and they close it for any further operations. Second of all, it is comfortable and feels like somebody is taking care of your finantial business. But on the other hand, when you recieve your credit card bill at the end of the month, the reality hits you really hard. You have not thought of how much you spend and eventually you find out that you do not actually have the money to pay for what you have bought. Lots of people have ended up in

Buying on credit is an alternative way

MONOLOGUE Buying on credit is an alternative way INTRODUCTION: Buying on credit is an alternative way, it is said because it is a form of borrowing. MAIN BODY: First of all, credit card offer us a useful form of short term borrowing if you can repay your bill in each month. For example, when you are travelling or just need to unexpectedly make a ig purchase. However, before deciding to borrow money it is important to know if you will be able to repay it back in the future. People must know that free lunches don't exist and anyway they must pay later. PERSONAL OPINION In my opinion credit card is an ,,easy money" and often peole don't know what happens later.

Letter of complain

Dear Sir, 12/10/08 I am writing to complain about the behaving of one of your employees. I want to inform you about that I was treated really rudely by a shop assistant at your department store the day before. I was doing my shopping at your department store yesterday after I came from work and I got into a rude conversation with your employee after I did not remember my credit card pin-code and tried to pay in cash after that. But except a pleasant smile, I got insulted and told that I should know if I do have money on my credit card or not. Concerning how pleasant the employees at your shop usually are I was very surprised by this acting. That caused me deep disapproval about your shop. The name of employee who insulted me was Michael. I expect that you will resolve my problem immediately, not just for me, but for all the people who might get insulted by

We all have felt good about donating something.

Mait Rõõmus Mr. Savala English 4 26 September 2013 Prompt #5 We all have felt good about donating something. It gives us inner peace, satisfaction, and an overall benevolent feeling. Donating money, clothes or "yourself" by volunteering does not require us to do the impossible we do that which is quite possible. A few weeks ago, I went through my friend's wallet and found an organ donor card. It really made me think. Would I be willing to donate an organ to help someone or to receive an organ from someone I do not know if I needed it? This whole idea makes me stop and think. Health issues are very common nowadays and luckily, medical science has advanced so much that nearly everything is curable. In addition to good medical science, organ transplants have improved too. You can replace almost everything from your body. But when

Shopping in my life

My mum can give me some good advises. When I buy new clothes, I look for quality clothes, which last longer. My tastes aren't very expensive and I'm not exactly into brand names. I usually buy clothes in Terranova. I spend quite a lot, but I always think carefully before I buy something because my family doesn't have much money to waste. I always go to the sales. When I need some money, I ask my dad or mum and they give me some. I don't have my own credit card but my dad has one. I love fashion clothes. I like jeans, sweat shirts and tops. I wear them every day at school and my favourite colours are pink and purple. I enjoy buying clothes very much. I always have fun shopping experience. Usually I spend a very little money on snacks or sweets. I don't help my parents with the household chores. My mother buys food and household goods for a family of three. She makes her shopping spree at the supermarket or at the local grocery store

Manners in Estonia

Shake hands with everyone at the meeting. Remember it is rude to greet someone while seated. Handshakes should be firm and confident. Maintain steady eye contact while shaking hands. Try and wait for a woman to extend her hand. Address businesspeople by their professional title and their surname. If someone does not have a professional title, use "Härra" to address a man and "Prova" to address a woman. o Wait until invited before moving to a first name basis. Business Card Etiquette Business cards are exchanged without any fuss or ritual. Present your business card so it is readable to the recipient. Treat someone's business card with respect. Having the other side of your card translated into Estonian is a nice gesture. Communication Style Estonians mean what they say and do what they say they will do. They expect foreign businesspeople to keep their word. Failing to do so can cause irreparable harm to a business relationship.

crossed the American border through Mexico, the Pacific Ocean or some other way. Also there are people who enter the country with a visa but stay for a longer time than it allows them to. Every day thousands of immigrants come to the United States and in March 2010 the estimated number of illegal aliens in the States was about 11 200 000. About eight million of them had jobs. But why are there so many illegal immigrants in the US? Is it truly that difficult to get a green card in the United States? It actually is - the whole process can be very time-consuming and confusing. Sometimes the waiting lists for green cards can be as long as 15 years. There are different ways of getting a green card, one of them is family sponsored, meaning that people with close relatives or family members who are US citizens are eligible for a permanent living permit and this way is relatively fast as it is top priority. There are also

dining to restaurants. On Valentine's Day people give each other presents and flowers. Young people make beautiful cards and give them to friends. Needless to say, it's particularly young people who looked forward to St. Valentine's Day, hoping to receive many cards. Originally hand-made and decorated with pictures of hearts, flowers, birds and lots of lace, they are traditionally sent anonymously, even going so far as to disguise handwriting or posting in another town. The modern Valentine card is big business and shops selling greetings cards will start stocking up soon after Christmas. There is still a large market for the flowery, sentimental card, but many modern cards tend to the "cute" style and there is always a market for the humorous insult. On Valentine's Day children organize parties. They decorate dance halls with paper hearts and with red balloons. There can make photos with you're friend. Students play different games and sing Valentine's songs

Day in my life

Day in my life I was waking up when i heard knocking at my door. I went to the door and postman was standing there. She was holding a package. Finally my package has been delivered. I greeted him and went looking for my ID card. I ran back to the postman. She was writing down my info while my little brother was trying to talk with me. He was yelling: ,,What is this?" I answered him: ,,It's a package, obviously." My brother started laughing and ran away. Postman asked for a signature and suddenly my phone started ringing. I gave her the signature and crabed the package. I ran downstairs but the caller hanged up already. I started calling back but the phone was busy. Suddenly I heard ringing again

Turundusplaani koostamine

Marketing Research During the first phases of the marketing plan development, several focus groups were put together to gain insight into a variety of customers of restaurants. These focus groups provided useful insight into the decisions, and decision making processes and where we should put our focus on our potential client base. One of the additional sources of market research that is dynamic is a feedback mechanism based on a suggestion card system. The suggestion card system has several statements that customers are asked to rate in terms of a given scale (customers can answer the card in the restaurant our on our homepage). There are also several open ended questions that allow the customer to freely offer constructive criticism or praise. Based on the feedback cards we will work hard to improve our service as well as show our commitment to the customers - that their suggestions are valued.

However, if the company overcomes the recession, it gains an invaluable experience how to withstand crisis situations and how to cut balances, even though it might have come with certain sacrifices such as firing workers. In conclusion the recession could be a sort of a wake-up call to humanity to keep eyes on their spending and credit card balances and the same comes with companies a low tide is a positive side, if only one learns from it.

Hobbies contribute to one's personal development

In able to play poker smart, you must be quick at calculating your odds and the value of your next move, just like in chess. Another very important skill is reading other people's reactions in the table, understand their body language, which often tells you exactly, which two cards they are holding. This can also used elsewhere, for example, some professional poker players can tell a lie from someone's behaviour almost instantly. All in all, playing any card game will sharpen your math skills and helps you "read" people better. As Lou Krieger once said: "Poker is good for you. It enriches the soul, sharpens the intellect, heals the spirit, and - when played well, nourishes the wallet."
