Estate Planning Basics Referaat

court proceedings are required to turn property over to beneficiaries. Because of this, living trusts are the most popular probate- avoidance device. Beneficiaries Direct beneficiaries come in two types: · Primary beneficiaries- people or institutions named to receive specially identified property. · Residuary beneficiaries- people or organizations named to receive any property not specifically left to primary beneficiaries. An altenate beneficiary is a person or organization you name to receive a gift you left to a direct beneficiary, if that direct beneficiary dies before you, or does not outlive you by a defined period of time, often 30 to 45 days. Children In this book ,,children" can have two meanings. The first is ,,minors" individuals who are not yet 18. The second meaning is offspring of any age; parents who live long enough can have ,,children" who are in their 40s, 50s, or even older.

Fiji

The coup of 1987 caused further contraction. Economic liberalization in the years following the coup created a boom in the garment industry and a steady growth rate despite growing uncertainty of land tenure in the sugar industry. The expiration of leases for sugar cane farmers (along with reduced farm and factory efficiency) has led to a decline in sugar production despite a subsidized price. Subsidies for sugar have been provided by the EU and Fiji has been the second largest beneficiary after Mauritius. Urbanization and expansion in the service sector have contributed to recent GDP growth. Sugar exports and a rapidly growing tourist industry -- with 430,800 tourists in 2003[24] and increasing in the subsequent years -- are the major sources of foreign exchange. Fiji is highly dependent on tourism for revenue. Sugar processing makes up one-third of industrial activity. Long-term problems include low investment and uncertain property rights

treatment as any other country with MFN status. 50 CYAN MAGENTA YELLOW BLACK 50 Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) The main idea of the GSP is that the economically developed countries assist the states with rela- tively weak economies to develop their export potential. For this purpose, developed countries unilaterally grant certain trade concessions to the beneficiary states of the GSP (without receiving any concessions in return). Specifically, GSP entails lower import tariffs on goods imported from beneficiary countries or full exemption from import duties, thus facilitating access for products of less developed countries to the markets of developed countries. Georgia is a GSP beneficiary of the following countries: EU Member States, the USA, Japan, Canada, Switzerland and Norway. EU GSP+ Scheme Georgia enjoys a GSP scheme offered by the EU

Civil courts make adjudications (to make a formal decision about something) on these disputes. Some disputes are more serious and complex than others. The jurisdiction (the authority of an official organization to make and deal with especially legal decisions) of the courts is limited by the type of the case, by the geography and the amount of the claim (the sum of payable at the maturity of an insurance policy or upon death of the person insured to the beneficiary or the legal heir of the insured). In Estonia civil actions are dealt with in county courts (a local law court which deals with less serious disputes). In civil procedure (a set of actions which is the official or accepted way of doing something) there can be three parties: plaintiff, defendant and third party whose rights the dispute can concern. The decision of county court can be appealed to the circuit court (second instance court). 9. Criminal courts (general + Estonian)

(The infinite regress here was pointed out by Bradley 1930: 1718.) Third, there are words that grammatically are nouns but do not, intui- tively, name either individual things or kinds of things--not even nonexistent "things" or abstract items such as qualities. Quine (1960) gives the examples of "sake," "behalf," and "dint." One sometimes does something for someone else's sake or on that person's behalf, but not as if a sake or a behalf were a kind of object the beneficiary led around on a leash. Or one achieves some- thing by dint of hard work; but a dint is not a thing or kind of thing. (I have never been sure what a "whit" or a "cahoot" is.) Despite being nouns, words like these surely do not have their meanings by referring to particular kinds of objects. They seem to have meaning only by dint of occurring in longer constructions. By themselves they barely can be said to mean anything at all, though they are words, and meaningful words at that.
