3. The Torre Galatea Figueras (Spain) The first things you notice are the giant egg sculptures along the roofline. Then it hits you that the Salvador Dali Theater Museum in Figueras, Spain, is no ordinary building. The museum’s tower, Torre Galatea, was named for the surrealist artist’s deceased wife, and Dali himself lived there until his death in 1989. Interestingly, the museum sits next to the parish church where Dali was baptized in 1904; he is buried in an unmarked crypt in the museum’s main exhibition hall. 4. The Basket Building (Ohio, United States) This may look like a picnic basket kept in the park. But this actually is a 7-story building which is Longaberger's Home Office located in Newark, Ohio. This monument is in-fact world’s largest basket. Its 192 ft. long by 126 ft. wide at the bottom, spreads to 208-ft. long by 142-ft. wide at the roofline. 5. CLOSING KALARAND FOR PUBLIC

A really questionable move, as putting up over 100m fence should still count as a construction work. Within two days, the new fence around the Kalaranna beach, was torn out by unknown activists. Kalamaja community was disappointed by Pro Kapital action and the dispute only escalated. Pro Kapital ordered a new fence around the beach and ordered a security company to watch over the property. Within next few days complaints were surfacing that there is a group of men in unmarked cars and civilian clothing that are protecting the area and if anybody dares to move closer to the fence the men threaten them with violence. Pro Kapital denies that they have hired an underground group to protect their property, but the situation has not changed. There is still an older Mercedes, or a van, standing by the fence round the clock, with a muscular man inside it, patrolling the area. Pro Kapital activity in Kalarand

These borrowings are generally left untranslated, as context clarifies their meaning. Obviously, this foreignizing strategy could easily be lost in a Romanian translation if the chosen samples of Romanian were left unmarked. The author's voice would easily be taken for the translator's, and Murphy's attempts at linguistically accommodating `the foreign' for her home readers might be annihi- lated. On the contrary, a strategy of `further foreignization' would entail, at least, the

He shook his head. "You're incredible." I realized, as he drove my truck out of the main part of town, that I had no idea where he lived. We passed over the bridge at the Calawah River, the road winding northward, the houses flashing past us growing farther apart, getting bigger. And then we were past the other houses altogether, driving through misty forest. I was trying to decide whether to ask or be patient, when he turned abruptly onto an unpaved road. It was unmarked, barely visible among the ferns. The forest encroached on both sides, leaving the road ahead only discernible for a few meters as it twisted, serpentlike, around the ancient trees. And then, after a few miles, there was some thinning of the woods, and we were suddenly in a small meadow, or was it actually a lawn? The gloom of the forest didn't relent, though, for there were six primordial cedars that shaded an entire acre with their vast sweep of branches. The trees held their

Jane Austen

Chapter 59 "My dear Lizzy, where can you have been walking to?" was a question which Elizabeth received from Jane as soon as she entered their room, and from all the others when they sat down to table. She had only to say in reply, that they had wandered about, till she was beyond her own knowledge. She coloured as she spoke; but neither that, nor anything else, awakened a suspicion of the truth. The evening passed quietly, unmarked by anything extraordinary. The acknowledged lovers talked and laughed, the unacknowledged were silent. Darcy was not of a disposition in which happiness overflows in mirth; and Elizabeth, agitated and confused, rather knew that she was happy than felt herself to be so; for, besides the immediate embarrassment, there were other evils before her. She anticipated what would be felt in the family when her situation became known; she was aware that no one liked him but Jane; and even feared that
