Sport is very popular in my class. Almost the whole class goes workout. There are only two or three people who were not in training. Sport is also popular in my family. My brother has been played basketball already four years and my mom do aerobics. Only my father , do not go to training.
My family has practiced many different sports . My brother started with basketball four years ago and he is still playing. My mother played basketball too but it was years ago and she has been in athletics too. My father played volleyball and he have been cycling . In my class the most popular sports are dancing, badminton and basketball.
I started with gymnastics when I was six years old. I’m still in gymnastics. I haven ’t been into any other sports.
I think its necessary to do sports because it’s good for you health. But sometimes it might be bad for your health.

English people say that children grow up more quickly now. Relationships within the British family are different now. Children have more freedom to make their own decisions. ME AND BASKETBALL ,,I want to make my body more balanced trough sport." (Socrates) Basketball is one of the world's most popular and widely viewed sports. Basketball was invented 1891 in Springfield by the local university physical education teacher James Naismith. He was trying to keep his gym class active on a rainy day. He sought a vigorous indoor game to keep his students occupied and at proper levels of fitness during the long New England winters. After rejecting other ideas as either too rough or poorly suited to walled-in gymnasiums, he wrote the basic rules and nailed a peach basket onto a 3,05 m elevated track. In contrast with modern basketball nets, this peach basket retained its bottom, and balls had to be retrieved manually after each "basket" or point scored

SPORT In English the word ‘sport’ describes both casual play and the highest levels of performance. Recent surveys reveal that 10% of adults play sports more than twice a week, the majority of the British population involves in sport or physical recreation at least once a month. Most people have an interest in some sports as a player, spectator or gambler, but everybody in Britain seems to be fond of outdoor exercise, be it jogging, walking, rambling or just sitting on the bench outdoors. As British homes are rather cool in winter (at least for Estonians!), the saying goes that ‘the English like fresh air outdoors and indoors’. Most people are conscious of the good influence of sport on their health

Baron Pierre de Coubertin (January 1, 1863-September 2, 1937), born as Pierre de Frédy, was a French pedagogue and historian, but is best known as the founder of the modern Olympic Games. He was born in Paris into a French aristocratic family. As a young man he was an avid sportsman with rowing being one of his favourites, also practicing the sports of boxing, fencing and horse-riding. Influenced by the social, political and scientific events of the late 19th century and his substantial education, Coubertin developed a passionate belief that sport possessed a power to benefit humankind and encourage peace among the nations of the world. He refused the military career planned for him by his family, as well as renouncing a
