above average GDP growth, the Spanish economy began to slow in late 2007 and entered into a recession in the second quarter of 2008. GDP contracted by 3.7% in 2009, ending a 16-year growth trend, and by another 0.1% in 2010, before turning positive in 2011, making Spain the last major economy to emerge from the global recession. The reversal in Spain's economic growth reflected a significant decline in construction amid an oversupply of housing and falling consumer spending, while exports actually have begun to grow. Government efforts to boost the economy through stimulus spending, extended unemployment benefits, and loan guarantees did not prevent a sharp rise in the unemployment rate, which rose from a low of about 8% in 2007 to 20% in 2010. The government budget deficit worsened from 3.8% of GDP in 2008 to 9.2% of GDP in 2010, more than three times the euro-zone limit. By restricting severely spending, Madrid cut the deficit to 6.5% of GDP in 2011
"Domestic" means that GDP measures production that takes place within the country's borders. · In the expenditure-method equation, the exports-minus-imports term is necessary in order to null out expenditures on things not produced in the country (imports) and add in things produced but not sold in the country (exports). Economists (since Keynes) have preferred to split the general consumption term into two parts; private consumption, and public sector (or government) spending. · Two advantages of dividing total consumption this way in theoretical macroeconomics are: 1. Private consumption is a central concern of welfare economics. The private investment and trade portions of the economy are ultimately directed (in mainstream economic models) to increases in long-term private consumption. If separated from endogenous private consumption, 2. Government consumption can be treated as exogenous.
State nickname-"The Golden State" has long been a popular designation for California and was made the official State Nickname in 1968. It is particularly appropriate since California's modern development can be traced back to the discovery of gold in 1848 and fields of golden poppies can be seen each spring throughout the state. State song-California's official state song is "I Love You, California", written by F.B. Silverwood, a Los Angeles merchant. Total direct travel spending in California was $96.7 billion in 2007. Travel spending increased by 3.6 percent over the preceding year. Of California's approximately 14 million international visitors, about 5.2 million were from overseas in 2007, 21.7 percent of all overseas visitors to the U.S., and up 12.4 percent from 2006. Indians history The history of California Indians is a different story from that of other ethnic groups who came in the last few centuries as immigrants to an already populated land
because it takes less room than a bundle of dollar bills. Secondly, when we lose cash then it´s permanently gone but in case of missing credit card it is possible to cancel the bank account. Another important benefit is ability to handle expenses that might be out of one´s reach. In case of an emergency, such as car breakdown or illness, it is very useful. Despite of great advantages, people should keep in mind it`s downsides. A credit card leads people to unresponsible spending. Buying goods that are off someone´s limit causes problems with paying back the balance each month. It is possible in this kind of situation that people windup spending more than an item is really worth. Another negative side is credit card frauds. They only need a number of the card to accomplish his evil intentions with the money. Buying on credit becomes more and more popular. Consumers should definitely try out this kind of payment
1. Marie-Antoinette 2. She was born in Vienna, Austria, in 1755 She was the 15th child of Holy Roman Empress Maria Theresa and Emperor Francis I. Marie Antoinette married the future French king Louis XVI when she was just 15 years old. The young couple soon came to symbolize all of the excesses of the reviled French monarchy, and Marie Antoinette herself became the target of a great deal of vicious gossip. 3. She was hated for many things like: beauty, spending money, The Diamond Necklace incident People called her "L'Autrichienne" She was hated for her beauty and because of her eccentric personality, also because she was born in Austria. French people started to call her "L'Autrichienne" (which literally means the Austrian (woman), but also suggests the French word "chienne", meaning bitch) Also France financial crisis was blamed on her lavish spending. It is known that she
We live in a material world and most of our lives depend on materials for happiness and comfort. All of these materials have to be purchased and so on a very basic level, without money, you cannot survive, at least not very comfortably. This is the very first level of money buying happiness, money can buy things necessary for survival and without life, there is no happiness. Some people say that they have money but they are not still pleased, the reason is that we're always spending on the wrong things, and in particular that we're always spending it on ourselves, you should stop thinking about which product to buy for yourself, and try giving some of it to other people instead. On the other hand there are many things money can not buy. Money can buy a big house, but not a home. Money can buy a high position, but not a respect. Money even can buy a person, but not the love or friend. Today, when the world becomes more and more materialistic , many people have

is going to kinder garden. My brother Rasmus is 12 years old, and is in sixth grade in Pala primary school. After finishing highschool I plan to go to Estonian Aviation Academy, but I am yet to make up my mind concerning my future area of specialization. So, at the moment, I would like to take some time out of academics to have a different life experience, and to have time to calmly reflect on my future academic/professional orientation. To this end, I think spending a year abroad would be particularly interesting. My first language is, of course, Estonian, but I am also fluent in English. I started learning English in primary school at 3 grade and by watching movies I have improved my vocabulary a lot. I speak an intermediate level of Russian. I began learning it in fifth grade and all in all, I have learnt Russian for 6 years. I am nevertheless aware that learning a language within a classroom context is by itself, incomplete. So, in order to really
Television is a daily presence in the lives of most young children . TV is playing a very big role in their life. Television has its good side. It can be entertaining and educational, and can open up new worlds for kids, giving them a chance to travel the globe, learn about different cultures. However spending time watching TV can take time away from healthy activities like active play outside with friends, eating dinner together as a family, or reading. TV time also takes away from participating in sports, music or art.

The aviation technology, automobiles and other vehicles, releasing unwanted green house gases into the environment, are creating serious environmental problems and pollution and some of them, health problems for their workers. The more time people are spending engrossed in video games, talking to friends online and watching videos, they are spending less time being active or exercising. This lifestyle can bring to obesity, and it, in turn, can lead to serious health problems and even to death. Technology has the negative effects on sleep habits. Charles Dickens (1812 to 1870) is generally considered to be the greatest English novelist. He wrote novels that exposed terrible lives of the poor during the nineteenth century in England. His novels draw attention to the dreadful conditions in which so many of London's poor lived at that time. Those novels reflect Dickens' own childhood. Oliver Twist tells the story of an orphan, who after spending his early life in a workhouse is sent to work for a hard taskmaster. Oliver runs away to London, where he joins a gang and become a pickpocket. By chance a gentelman takes pity on Oliver and takes him into his house. Although Oliver is forced to return for a time to gang , he eventually is reunited with his family and lives happily ever after.

Keynesian revolution explains why the study of macroeconomics is so intertwined with policy and politics. - Two traditional demand management instruments are fiscal and monetary policy. Fiscal policy manipulates government expenditures or taxes in an attempt to affect the volume of national spending. Monetary policy is directed at influencing interest and exchange rates, and more generally conditions in financial markets; this in turn affects spending on goods and services. Also, a lot of enterprises and companies gain experience from recessions. They might suffer under lack of different resources for example financial and material crisis. However, if the company overcomes the recession, it gains an invaluable experience how to withstand crisis situations and how to cut balances, even though it might have come with certain sacrifices such as firing workers. In conclusion the recession could be a sort of a wake-up call to humanity to keep eyes on their spending and credit card balances and the same comes with companies a low tide is a positive side, if only one learns from it.
priorities too much. Instead of being with their loved ones, people spend more and more time in front of the computer. Has computer really become man's new best friend? On the one hand, computer can be really useful in many circumstances. For example, thanks to computers people can do their job more easily and faster, search information they need or just find out what is happening in the world in general. On the other hand, by spending too much time in front of the computer people tend to waist a lot of time. Because of the fact that Internet is full of various entertainments, people lose sense of time. It may also seem that virtual life is more interesting than the real one. Although computers simplify our lives and have many benefits, there are still many downsides we should not ignore. So computer can be a man's best friend or an enemy. It is everyone's own choice which way it is.
we feel at home. A sudden windfall would smash the jigsaw. Most people like the idea of not having to work, but winners have found that without work there's no purpose to their day, and no reason to get up in the morning. It's tempting to move to a bigger house in a wealthy neighbourhood but, in so doing, u leave old friends and routines behind. There are many stories about people who can't learn how to be rich. Val Johnson won 850 000 on the pools. Immedietly she went on a spending spree that lasted for 4 years and 5 marriages. She's now penniless and alone. Winning a fortune might bring more problems than it solves!
My Most Unforgettable Childhood Experience I was spending my holiday in my summer cottage. It was a warm night and we were playing cards i my friend's balcony. It was about 1o'clock a.m. and we were getting sleepy. We decided to go to sleep and as my parents were already sleeping , I had to go home by myself. There is a forest near our house and a little lamp with green shimmer leads into the forest. When I looked straight to it, I saw a man in a black coat, who was standing in a green light
Firstly, they encourage discipline. It would also free children from the pressure to buy trendy clothes. All the childrens would be dressed in the same way and as a result it would cut out a school bullying, which is often used, because some children do not have money to buy expensive and fashionable clothes and they are bullied because of that. Children would not have to think about what to wear in the morning and parents save time taking children shopping and spending extra money. Children will be that much less focused on appearance and more on learning. However school uniforms are good there is some disadvantages too. For example children can not show their character, which is often based on clothing. Some school uniform may be more expensive than oridnary clothes and it is will make financial problems for poor families. All in all, I think that school uniforms are useful and children can not make fun of them
stressed and unsatisfied. Finally, we think that is very comfort to communicate with friends and other people via Internet. This kind of communication can lead to unsociability because people are in need of showing they`re emotions. Moreover, some people think that it is more comfortable not to accociate with others at all. To sum up, computers are making our lives too easy. People were created to operate with different kind of activities and if they are spending most of their time behind computer they will get disaffected.
Keeping fit is a really common topic in the 21th century. People are obsessed with having the perfect body, so they could feel beautiful not only on the inside but outside too. Women tend to want a skinny model body, so they don't feel uncomfortable with their body when they are spending time on the beach during summer time. Unfortunalely, some people are obsessed with it and they tend to over exercise. To begin with, there are many advantages of being fit. Firstly, exercising is really good for health and it also gives more energy and makes less lazy. Secondly, exercising helps to stenght muscles and bones so you will have a strong and good-looking body. It helps to feel more self-confident and open to people. Also exercising with friends can be really interesting
the Dome Church. Currently, the building is occupied by a history museum and the visitors can use an observation platform on the roof and enjoy a picturesque view of the city. By the Dome Hill there's the main building of the University of Tartu. It's very big and beautiful. There are several museums, but also some theatres and cinemas. Tartu has many cafés in the centre of the city, for example café Pierre. With its historical atmosphere, it's a really great place for spending a quiet and relaxing evening. Tartu is the perfect place for living and it's certainly a good holiday destination if you like sightseeing. It's also a fine choice for students, because the University of Tartu has a really good reputation and education level. Karita Liivak 9b Tartu MRG 15.10.10
Too much money is being spent on preserving the old part of town The Medieval Old Town is the center of Tallinn. Most of the major national and international companies are headquartered near the Old Town. Since the economy is not in a good shape right now the question of financing the old parts of Tallinn has been raised. Many people claim that spending money on preserving the old parts of Tallinn is not the best idea when people are having hard times. They are having trouble with making money in the first place. Also there are other fields, which are more important than the Old Town, such as education that need to be financed. Nevertheless, the Old Town is very important to tourism. For this reason money spent on old parts of Tallinn is not money wasted. Tourism is extremely important in todays economy
Both of these song are very good to listen. When in a mood for dreaming it is better to listen hip- hop especially ,,Window shopper" but in a need for inspiratoin mood the best song to listen is ,,We are the champions". In my opinion rap and hip- hop are for younger age groups although there are exeptions. Queen is for everyone because it is a legendary band which will be remembered for decades thanks to their great songs. It can be said that music is a good mean for spending time and searching for inspiration and for me if plays both roles. Rain Hein 10 a
year. In addition, to experience the lifestyle of another nation. Being an exchange student has its advantages and disadvantages. First advantage would be living in a foreign country, a new language is quaranteed to be learned. While communicating with other people, a person may find himself around new possible friends. Secondly, gaining the new experiences could change one´s life forever. Every country has its own culture and it is claimed that spending some time abroad makes a person able to see cultural differences from another perspective. It also broadens the horizons. Unfortunately there are some disadvantages, such as at first you may not know the language, so that you will not be able to communicate with people in their local language. Visiting the country for the first time can be difficult because everything is new and unfamiliar. Moreover, getting homesick is the main disadvantage, because everybody starts out as strangers and
The term computer addiction originated long before the Internet. Some people develop bad habits in their computer use that cause them significant problems in their lives. The types of behavior and negative consequences are similar to those of known addictive disorders. Effects: Excessive computer use may result in, or occur with: Lack of social interaction. Using the computer for pleasure, gratification, or relief from stress. Feeling irritable and out of control or depressed when not using it. Spending increasing amounts of time and money on hardware, software, magazines, and computer-related activities. Neglecting work, school, or family obligations. Lying about the amount of time spent on computer activities. Risking loss of career goals, educational objectives, and personal relationships. Failing at repeated efforts to control computer use. Never getting off the computer. A cause for many of the above-mentioned effects may be that computer games do not
The water we have now is all we will ever have, we cannot produce anymore. Moving on to the importance of water. There wouldn't be any life on Earth without water. Water cools the Earth and all plants, animals and humans need clean water to survive. To sum up, water is our most important resource and it is obvious that we must save and protect our water. I would like to persuade my audience to conserve our water supply. That can be done easily, like turning off water while brushing teeth and spending a minute less in the shower. Thank you for listening.
excercises which we will have to check from internet like all kind of searching tasks what expect us to use Internet. It also simplify teacher work, teacher does not have to waste her time preparing the lessons.Because they can check out the difficult words quickly from internet. On the other hand, sitting in the computers every day is not good for our health, staring at a computer screen for several hours is enough to tire the eye muscles and it also causes stress and fatigue. Spending too much time in computer will lose students communication skills , because chatting only in the internet forums does not promote their communication skills. The worst about this problem is that in virtual world students prefer talking slang instead of correct english . And they will forget soon how to talk like they used to talk before. Finally, I really hope that in future there will be more computers in our school, that will simplify totally student`s and teacher`s lives

Such a good feeling. You don't have to own really good camera to get a good photo. Very often people think, that when I don't have really expensive technique, then it's impossible to get good photo. I am good example to prove, that it isn't like that. I have small red digital camera. I have learned the programs and now it's easy to use it. It all depends on photographer. My favorites are nature photographs. When the weather is sunny and nice, then I'm often outside spending time with my camera. After I started photographing, I see situations and moments and I immediately imagine them on photos. I really love photographing sky, sunset, bugs, flowers and animals. In my opinion, photographers task is to get message from nature and show it to the people. I publish my photos on the internet. It's not because I want to be famous. It's just really good to have a feedback. Criticism is always good thing. Smart photographer learns from mistakes
The key of the movie were love, war, loss, forgiveness. I liked the actors very much. The actors were Amanda Seyfried as Savannah and Channing Tatum as John. I liked Seyfried before I saw that movie, because she can play different roles and I believe her. She is a really good actor, not like most of the Hollywood actors. Tatum I saw acting the first time but I liked him too. They were really good together. Seyfried played a rich Southern girl who doesn't drink, doesn't do drugs and is spending her spring rebuilding houses for the poor people. Tatum plays a guy from Army who meets Savannah in the beach when Savannah lost her bag into the sea and John goes after that bag. I liked all the scenes of the movie. They were really well made and it was never boring. Savannah and John were together only two weeks and they fell in love. Then Savannah had to go to school again and John had to leave to the army. They started to write letters to each other
Nowadays when mobile devices are our everything, everything can be done with your mobile phone. You can listen to music, watch videos, play games and even do coding with your phone. There are lots of musicians, rappers and songwriters whose lives are a dream to many. However, things aren’t always as they seem. Firstly, in 2006, a website called Spotify was created. In Spotify you could listen to music anywhere you want, very easily and without spending any money. Songwriters started getting a lot of attention and spins for their creation. In addition, by 2021, Spotify had already reached 158 million users. Songs are making history by getting huge amounts of streams, over 1000 million streams. Another advantage is that newcomers who upload their music to the internet may get a huge boost and rapid spins, make some money and get famous more easily. On the other hand, giving Spotify the rights to stream your music isn’t actually profitable

I'm sure you will make lots of friends who have similar hobbies with you. After all, you have always been very sociable and kind. About your home life. You told me that your dad is often on trips and when he gets home he is exhausted. Honestly, I doubt your father will ask you to do something with him, since he is always resting. I think you should take the initiative and ask him to the cinema. You could also take your sisters and your mother with you. Spending quality time like that with your family will certainly cheer everyone up. I'm going to have to cut my letter short, because I have to write some sort of a letter for tomorrow for my English lessons. Say hello to your sisters for me and write me as soon as you can! Best of luck, Egg.
Literature and books were our best friends, and one of the most important ways on entertainment. Nowadays, if you ask a person, when he or she has read last a book and what the book's title was, the person will not know what to answer. Nobody reads any more, or if they do it is on the internet and only a summary so as not to get tired too much. The Internet entertains superficially, as people do not gain too much by ''surfing'' it. Yes, maybe a new pair of glasses for spending so much time in front of a computer. I do not say there are no educating websites that are worth visiting, that really help, but their number is quite small. As not to get fat, while sitting on an arm-chair, people could instead go to a library, borrow a book and go to a park and start reading. Everybody will notice the difference. They will think so well of themselves while doing more things at once: reading and enjoying themselves in the middle of nature.
Although I, like every other person in this world, have my ups and downs, I mostly like to think of myself as a positive person. I always seem to surprise people with my "can-do" attitude and smiley face, especially in severe or akward situations. I tend to believe that there's always something good in bad and that things will always turn out well, no matter how hopeless circumstances might be. Some of my friends, as well as couple of my family members are strong pessimists. While spending time with them I feel how their negative and passive attitude is slowly starting to affect me too. I wish it would be the other way round - I'd affect them with my positivity. But I guess unfortunately I adopt different attitudes a lot more easily rather than spreading mine forwards. I think attitudes vary when it comes to different nationalities and cultures. While travelling, I've noticed how different people actually could be, and it depends quite much on where they are from
" Baumgartner's most recent project was Red Bull Stratos, in which he jumped to Earth from a helium balloon in the stratosphere on 14 October 2012. As part of this project, he set the altitude record for a manned balloon flight, parachute jump from the highest altitude, and greatest free fall velocity. The training for the jumb started many years before and it was very accurate and time- consuming. Baumgartner initially struggled with claustrophobia after spending time in the pressurized suit required for the jump, but overcame it with help from asports psychologist and other specialists. Eugene Andreev, the former rercord holder for the longest-distance free fall jump, who was the only one who could talk to Felix during his filght. After the jump Felix sayd that now he want's to take Eugene's position and guide new jumpers who maybe one day beat his record.
Many people choose cohabiting because it has basically the same benefits as marriage, only without it being official. I think that people who say they don’t see the point in marriage and don’t ever plan on marrying are not 100% sure about their partners or themselves and are afraid of the commitment of marriage. At the end of the day it’s just a lifelong promise to your other side and it can be done without spending much money. To sum up, I think that marriage is the best promise people can make to their other sides and I also think that it is right to live in cohabitation before marriage and to really get to know eachother.
The second day I wanted to go shopping in the city but my parents disagreed. They suggested that we should go sightseeing. At last we found that we could go walk in the beach where also were many shops. But it was miles away, so we had to rent a car. We could rent a car from our hotel's reception. Unfortunately we were told that all cars were hired out. Then my parents suggested to spend the day swimming in a hotel pool, but I didn't feel spending my day like this. We found a place to hire cars near the hotel. The only available car was Citroën C1. This was really small, but our only choice. We fitted ourselves very uncomfortably in this little car and drove to that city. It was so refreshing to get out. I ran to the shops and bought as many pretty things as I could. After some time, I saw that I had lost my companitons. I even didn't have my cell phone with me and I just sat down to wait for them
of these little elf houses from fairytales. Interior of the house is fully-furnished, it's is very spacious, but still comfortable and cozy. On the ground floor there is a living room decorated with unique lighting fixtures and beautiful wall ornaments. There's also a fireplace. Two bedrooms with a view over the lake are situated on the first floor. There is a sauna with bubble tube on this floor, too. I found it would be a perfect place for spending your Christmas and summer holidays here. Can you only imagine how fun can be the time spent in this beautiful house, being surrounded by all of your dearest friends? So, I wrote you only a most important information about this summerhouse.
