Name at least 3 renewable energy sources. What consequence might there be if we use non-renewable energy too much? Which energy technology is the world's fastest growing? With what name is renewable energy also known as? Light Heat Electricity Generated from natural resources. Doesn't harm the environment. Can't be replenished Most of our energy. May cause global warming. Wind energy is the fastest growing. Most renewable energy comes from the sun. Hydroelectric energy is the oldest and largest source. Renewable energy a.k.a "green" energy. Thank you for listening! We use energy every day. It surrounds us in different forms, such as light, heat, and electricity. Our bodies use the energy stored in molecules of substances like carbohydrates and protein to move, breathe, grow,
• According to the Global Outlook for Water Resources to the Year 2025, it is estimated that by 2025, more than half of the world population will be facing water-based vulnerability and human demand for water will account for 70% of all available freshwater. • Freshwater is the most fundamental finite resource with no substitutes for most uses, yet we are consuming fresh water at least 10 times faster than it is being replenished in regions of northern Africa, the Middle East, India, Pakistan, China, and the U.S.. Species Extinction • Human beings are currently causing the greatest mass extinction of species since the extinction of the dinosaurs 65 million years ago at rates 1000 to 10,000 times faster than normal. • The 2012 update of the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species shows that of the 63,837 species examined worldwide, 19,817 are threatened with extinction - nearly a third of the total.
Green Energy Program paid for and brought to by -Anja Bananja -Franz the Manz - And Just Chadrick Overview- What is Green Energy? Different Types? What is sustainability? German Green Energy Cost and Efficiency Recycling What is Green Energy? -It is energy resources that are renewable -Can be naturally replenished -Clean, Safe and not harmful to the environment (aka mother earth) Types of Green Energy Green Energy going cute Solar Power · Is produced by using photovoltaic cells, which capture sunlight and turns that into energy. Problems ? -The sun has got to shine -The cost of solar panels and the systems range between $20k-40k -The light from the sun produces a very small amount of energy Wind Power -These giant pinwheels spin from strong winds which

Conclusion............................................................................................................ ....18 4. Sources............................................................................................................... .......19 Renewable energy Renewable energy is energy generated from natural resources--such as , wind, rain, tides and geothermal heat--which are renewable (naturally replenished). In 2006, about 18% of global final energy consumption came from renewables, with 13% coming from traditional biomass, such as wood-burning. Hydroelectricity was the next largest renewable source, providing 3% (15% of global electricity generation),followed by solar hot water/heating, which contributed 1.3%. Modern technologies, such as geothermal energy, wind power, solar power, and ocean energy together provided some 0.8% of final energy consumption.
Laovaba ostmine (stockless purchasing). Hoolduse, remondi ja ekspluatatsioonimaterjalide (MRO) ostu praktika, mille puhul ostja ja müüja lepivad ostulepingu hinna kokku, lähtudes ostja MRO artiklite aasta ostuvajadusest, ja müüja hoiab tellitud tooteid oma laos, kust ostja saab neid vastavalt oma jooksvatele vajadustele tellida. Hankimine laovarude loomisega- 2. Tarnija juhitud kaubavaru (VMI)- Tarnija juhitud kaubavaru (vendor replenished inventory, VRI; vendor managed inventory, VMI). Tarneahela strateegia, mille puhul müüjale või tarnijale delegeeritakse vastutus kliendi varude haldamise eest. Tarnija juhitud kaubavaru puhul klient ostutellimusi ei esita. Tarnija teeb varude täiendamisotsuseid iseseisvalt, lähtudes talle kättesaadavaks tehtud kliendi müügi- ja laoseisu andmetest, samuti iga laoartikli kohta kokkulepitud kliendi laosaldo maksimum- ja miinimumtasemest. a
still so many things we can do. Sustainability is the key to prevent or reduce the effect of environmental issues. There is now clear scientific evidence that humanity is living unsustainably, and that an unprecedented collective effort is needed to return human use of natural resources to within sustainable limits. For humans to live sustainably, the Earth's natural resources must be used at a rate at which they can be replenished. Concerns for the environment have prompted the formation of green parties, political parties that seek to address environmental issues. Initially these were formed in Australia, New Zealand and Germany but are now present in many other countries. By raising awareness about these issues, we can help contribute to a more environmentally conscious and friendly place for us to live. ADDITIONAL TASKS 1
The people in the United States have always had a love affair with the automobile. Personal vehicles (like cars and light trucks) consume 63 percent of the total energy used for transportation, while commercial vehicles (like large trucks and construction vehicles), mass transit (like airplanes, trains, and buses), and pipelines account for the rest. Picture 2.13. Energy use by type of vehicle RENEWABLE ENERGY Renewable energy sources can be replenished in a short period of time. The five renewable sources used most often are: · biomass - including wood and wood waste, municipal solid waste, landfill and biogas, ethanol, and biodiesel; · water (hydropower); · geothermal; · wind; · solar. 3.1 What Role Does Renewable Energy Play in the United States? The use of renewable energy is not new. More than 150 years ago, wood, which is one
through you, pretending to be you. And to the pain-body, pain is pleasure. It eagerly devours every negative thought. In fact, the usual voice in your head has now become the voice of the pain-body. It has taken over the internal dialogue. A vicious circle becomes established between the pain-body and your thinking. Every thought feeds the pain-body and in turn the pain-body generates more thoughts. At some point, after a few hours or even a few days, it has replenished itself and returns to its dormant stage, leaving behind a depleted organism and a body that is much more susceptible to illness. If that sounds to you like a psychic parasite, you are right. That's exactly what it is. HOW THE PAIN-BODY FEEDS ON DRAMA If there are other people around, preferably your partner or a close family member, the pain-body will attempt to provoke them – push their buttons, as the expression goes - so it can feed on the ensuing drama. There will almost always be some period of time in which the hero is recognized or re warded for having survived death or a great ordeal. A great many possibilities are generated by living through a crisis, and Reward, the aftermath of the Ordeal, has many shapes and purposes. CELEBRATION W h e n hunters have survived death and brought down their game, it's natural to want to celebrate. Energy has been exhausted in the struggle, and needs to be replenished. Heroes may have the equivalent of a party or barbecue at this stage in which they cook and consume some of the fruits of victory. T h e heroes of The Odyssey always offered a sacrifice and had a meal to give thanks and celebrate after surviving some ordeal at sea. Strength is needed for the return to the upper world, so time is given for rest, recuperation, and refueling. After the buffalo hunt (a Supreme Ordeal and
