To: Ms Johanson From: Mari Mets Subject: The factors Estonian students consider important when choosing a job Introduction The aim of this report is to analyse the results of two surveys into the information about which factors Estonian students consider important when choosing a job. The two surveys were carried out in 2005 and 2013. At the end of the report there are some possible reasons for the changes. Grow of importance To start with, the importance had grown 14% for the pay, 15% for the work atmosphere and 20% for work/life balance. The pay has stayed the same in the ranking of importance but the ranking of work/life balance has dropped from fourth to second place. Fall of importance In contrast, the importance of job security has fallen by 22% and job content by 16%. They
How to deal with water shortage problems? Water covers more than 70% of the Earth's surface and it is the most valuable resource in the world. We need water to live on this planet otherwise life on Earth wouldn't be possible. Many countries suffer from water shortages. There is no fresh water for people usage. It's actually a major problem in the world but what can we do to decrease this? Firstly, people need to realise that there are many other people in the world who does not have accessibility to water. We can decrease it by not wasting water on pointless things for example long showers and watering flowers outside the house. By doing this we will economize water
scrolls. 2/15 A Chinese bamboo book Wax tablets were the normal writing material in schools, in accounting, and for taking notes. They had the advantage of being reusable: the wax could be melted, and reformed into a blank. The custom of binding several wax tablets together (Roman pugillares) is a possible precursor for modern books (i.e. codex). The etymology of the word codex (block of wood) also suggests that it may have developed from wooden wax tablets. In the 5th century, Isidore of Seville explained the relation between codex, book and scroll in his Etymologiae (VI.13): "A codex is composed of many books; a book is of one scroll. It is called

The Greenhouse Effect: Scientists are sure about the greenhouse effect. They know that greenhouse gases make the Earth warmer by trapping energy in the atmosphere. Climate Change: Climate is the long-term average of a region's weather events lumped together. For example, it's possible that a winter day in Buffalo, New York, could be sunny and mild, but the average weather the climate tells us that Buffalo's winters will mainly be cold and include snow and rain. Climate change represents a change in these long-term weather patterns. They can become warmer or colder. Annual amounts of rainfall or snowfall can increase or decrease. Global Warming: Global warming refers to an average increase in the Earth's temperature, which in turn causes changes in climate
Ones choice of university will affect their life both socially and professionally so it is important to make a wise decision. Finding the perfect university or college can seem challenging at first because of the endless opportunities offered. The course range given to students is extensive and the decision can be difficult due to a broad spectrum of higher educational institutions. When choosing the ideal university, it is essential to do research as early as possible and take it rather seriously. First, one should try to narrow down the possibilities by a simple process of elimination. By figuring out the area of study and other relevant elements like the size or location, the decision will most likely become simpler. It is important to remember that no university is good at everything and has particular areas they specialize in. The more time and effort one puts into the process of research, the bigger the chance of picking the right school.

Should mercy-killing be punished? It is argued whether mercy-killing should be punished or not. Every human being deserves the right to life, but is it still so when it is not possible to live a normal life? To start with, it is not life when it is not possible to move or even talk. If a person is in coma and court and his family has given the permission, then mercy-killing should be acceptable. On the other hand, we all make mistakes including doctors. When the doctor says that she or he will never wake up it can never be 100% true. In other words, the doctor should pay his price for taking human life. To sum up, in author’s opinion mercy-killing should not be punished. If it is certified by court,
should be like ,,https://". The second thing you can do is that if you own the Wi-Fi access point then you should definately put a password to it because then others that don't have a password can not connect to your network. Although you put a password protection to your Wi-Fi network you should know that there's still a small potential of your account been stolen. I think that even people from the 20 th century know that it is possible to hack into your Wi-Fi access point. So if you can hack to Wi-Fi networks by using different password crackers then it is logical that it is possible to act the same way with any Facebook.com user account. At the beginning it was possible to freeze somebody's Facebook account but luckily Facebook discovered that other user use it to mess with other people so they blocked that thing. If you don't know what freezing
Thousands of Years ago Estonian did not exist. Even nowadays not very many people speak Estonian, nearly 1,5 Million. Compared to English speakers, it's nothing. The Estonian language has changed very much as the years have gone by. The expressions that were used years ago are replaced with English phrases, which are especially popular among young people. That's because almost all films, song lyrics and popular TV shows are in English. They also use slang too much. It's quite possible, that soon the Estonian language dies out and replaces with English. The second reason, why Estonian is in big danger, is because the little importance of the language. Almost everyone can speak at least one foreign language and nowadays the travelling possibilities are also very good. So if the Estonian language has no importance, it's possible, that if several nations will mix and there will be no Estonian anymore. Estonian language is nearing extinction in the 21th century

,,People can live one hundred years without really living a minute." Hundred years is a long time compared to one minute, but many people claim that it is possible to wrap all of those years into that one minute. They have an opinion that all those years only count if you use the time completely, without wasting it on activities and choices that make you unhappy. On the one hand I agree with this statement, people often live their lives without ever doing anything useful or something that really makes them happy. They are often very materialistic and that forces them to make decisions that do not really make them happy
example: glothes, use newspaper as a wrapping paper. Recycle- recycle thing. It does not take too long and it makes so much differencs Saving energy and your money Save electricity - people use a lot of electricity only because they forget or leave electrical appliances on. How: unplug everything that you do not use and do not forget to turn the light off Save water - Wasting water wastes electricity wich wastes energy. How: repair all leaky water mechanisms and if possible take shorter showers Saving energy and your money Save gasoline- It takes a lot of energy to operate a car. How: use other healthier alternatives like bicyclel or walking, but even using public transport helps reduce gasoline usage Save heat-It takes a lot of energy to heat houses and water. How: wear warmer clothes, if possible do not use hot water unnecessarily

Kaspar is going to protect him what changes a new classmate to a foeman of Anders. Developing the film uncovers schools violence, relations with parents, pedagogues apathy, punishment and retribution. For me, the film was really galvanic and thought-provoking. In real Estonia it is not that cruel as it is in film, but it may be possible in somewhere American schools. I think the film is too uncharitable and is not educative for everybody. It is possible that some teenagers follow that lead. ,,Class" is a documentary drama with an obvious message - "Violence gives birth to violence" as one teacher has said. Everyone run out of patience eventually. I recommend that film for high school students, teachers and also for parents.

the adventure games. You can go to the gym or run every day 5 km. I like to go hiking in the woods or just take a daytrip to a city where I have never been before. The other possibility is to go for a mental challenge, like learning new language, or reading an interesting book. It is good challenge to take a science or philosophy book, something that is not so easy to read so you can be proud of yourself after finishing it. It is also possible to learn new skills such as cooking or dancing or making yourself a short film or learn a new computer program. Some people find yourself a job for a holiday and earn money. Sometimes all it takes to feel challenged is just to do old things differently or meet new people. Any type of challenge is possible as you look to push yourself to new limits. So next time I will plan my holiday more carefully and make it to be a dream holiday, I will challenge myself and leave that comfort zone behind.

believe that there will be a massive event, which will change the way we experience reality. What that actually is, however, is anyone's guess. There are many Christians who believe the coming of Christ will happen within their lifetime. This idea shouldn't be discounted immediately, but it does not necessarily mean the Jesus we understand in Western culture will come sailing down from the sky. If we consider that Jesus was a manifestation of God, it's possible that Christ may return embodied in another form. It's possible that all the differing theories about 2012 may all be about the same event, and have just been interpreted in different ways. For this reason, it's important we don't commit ourselves to one set idea of what will happen, and remain open to all possibilities.
can do, to make their marriage work. What clearly needs to be done, is that people shouldn't rush into marriage. They need to take some time to get to know each other very well, because they might find out, that they are too different for each other. This might lead to divorce, and thats what nobody wants. A couple should always be absolutely sure about their love and dedication, before they make such an important decision. Another suggestion is that partners should be supportive in every possible situation. Almost every marriage has some problems. If they have problems, they should discuss things and find the best solutions. They should be flexible. It depends on appearances, what kind of person are they. Finally, most important thing is that marriage is based on trust. Partners should be loyal to each other and they are ought to be honest and reliable. They should trust each other in every possible situation and they should always be

In my opinion, other schools in the area should also be noted because it shows the good location of this school. Having other good and wealthy schools in the area, gives us the possibility to show us from the same side. School Activities In addition to these, we should mention the different activities that we have in our school. We should mention activities such as Playbox- a very successful dancing competition that we organize every year, Photocontest- a contest where it is possible for students use their creativity and express their feelings and thoughts through photographs, and all the other activities and projects that our school takes part in. We could also mention the SmartBoards that help teachers to make their lessons more interesting and where it is even possible to watch necessary movies referring to the subject. Conclusion To sum up, I believe that including some of the suggestions mentioned above, we will be
a life without commercials on TV, big posters and neon screens on streets and advertisments in newspapers and magazines. But like everything else in this world, advertising also has it is advantages and disadvantages. Starting with advantages the biggest plus is probably that advertising can inform people about different products and services, their utilities, cost and other requirement. Also, advertisements about non-commercial issues like AIDS can help in educating people and notifying possible problem. Finally, one big advantage is providing employment. Not only advertising itself needs many workers, but companies who are increasing their sales volume of goods mostly expand themselves and that may give job to thousands of people. Unfortunately there are some dark sides of advertising. Firstly, it uses children to increase its income and impressionable kids will make their parents life as hard as possible to get what they want, even if it is not necessary or healthy
The subject of the lecture was very difficult. He discussed genetics in general, the history of DNA and genetic engineering's development. Genetics is a science of heredity. It's a very important part of medicine. In my opinion the lecture was difficult, but very exciting. Thirdly, the lecture that was carried out by two women. The subject of that lecture was organ labor standards and transplatations. Every person has a right to choose to assign their organ or not. It's possible to implant lungs, heart, liver, kidneys, pancreas and small intestine. In Estonia it's not possible to transplant a heart and small intestine. In my opinion that lecture was the best. To sum up, I would say that today was very educational. I think that there should be more events like this and certainly hope that I can participate next year.
Such kind of activity is the most popular in the Unites States of America. Advertisers always praise how buying on credit is beneficial but people also need to get familiar with it`s disadvantages. First of the various utilities is space savings. It is very easy to carry on credit card in a purse because it takes less room than a bundle of dollar bills. Secondly, when we lose cash then it´s permanently gone but in case of missing credit card it is possible to cancel the bank account. Another important benefit is ability to handle expenses that might be out of one´s reach. In case of an emergency, such as car breakdown or illness, it is very useful. Despite of great advantages, people should keep in mind it`s downsides. A credit card leads people to unresponsible spending. Buying goods that are off someone´s limit causes problems with paying back the balance each month. It is possible in this kind of situation that people
ice climbing competition was organized in Courmayeur on the Brenva glacier in 1912. Ice climbing competitions started in Russia (at that time the Soviet Union) and have been held each winter since 1970. There were three disciplines: difficulty, speed and speed climbing of a longer route (100+m) by roped groups where the lead climber changed every 40m. The competitions at Courchevel in France were also famous. The main rule was to climb as high as possible using as few hits as possible, with the time limited between 8 and 14 minutes. The magnificent 40m high tower in Courchevel was synonymous for difficulty ice climbing events in Europe from 1995 until 2000 when a huge piece of ice fell down just a few hours before the event started. Nowadays International Commission for Ice Climbing Competitions is responsible for the administration and development aspects of ice climbing sport
things with less resources like in past a lot of manpower was used for record keeping and files and other things were made to keep the records saved. This is one use of computers in our lives other than that computers has helped us to work with machines which have the ability to produce the best quality of products with maximum speed and efficiency. In today's world it is necessary that to cater for such a heavy population things are made at the higher pace with best quality, so it is possible with the help of computer that we are able to cater for the need of quantity and quality of products required in daily life. In conclusion, computers have made life better for us in science and medicine, business and education
Building them up and pulling them down needs a lot of energy and about 30% of building energy is spent on it. It is thought that if in Tokyo 50% of all roofs are green it will save 1 million dollars a day of Tokyo businesses in cooling costs. Street light use 5% of energy, but it can be reduced to 2%. Usual TVs should be replaced with Plasma TV, because it saves energy more. By driving electic-car, it is possible to save energy about 20% and reduce global emissions. Carbon dioxide is used to grow tomatoes. Tomatoes which are eaten, have come out straight of exhaust of engine and gas turbine burning gas. But still this carbon dioxide finds its way to atmosphere through our bodies. It is possible to save energy if you isolate your freezers what freezes fish. Then you can reduce your freexing temperature. Deserts would be amazing places to storage sunlight energy

and for some people who simply doesn't have time to meet and have a chat in a cafe or somewhere it might be the only way to chat. It is through that fore some people Internet through its entertainment and information capabilities draws people away from family and friends, but I would say that most still prefer meeting face-to-face and having chat in real life. For example, for me the internet is just the place where I can chat with friends when its just not possible to meet with them. There is now way that I would prefer sitting home next to the table and having laugh with the computer if it would be possible to go out and meet with them in real life and maybe have a warm hug or something. The Internet is used in similar ways around the world. Through its low costs it is good way to communicate with friends and family, especially contact with those who are far away. For me at the moment internet is the main way for talking with my family and friends
would be millions of ways how to spend it. As to the point that my family has been the most precious fortune for me, I would give at least one third of that to my loved ones. I think that this would be a clever action. Second, if I would have the chance then I would purchase all these things I have wanted in my entire life. I would definitely buy an enormous but cozy house where I could finally make my dream come true - have as many pets as I want! I have wanted to own as many pets as possible since I was a little girl, so it would be my opportunity to play and take care of all those kittens and puppies. Third, I would also spend much money on different schools. I have always dreamed about attending in an expensive and great school were is possible to get an auspicious education. I would also give some money to charity. I do not mean just any other charity, I would basically donate to children and babies. Why so? Because they can not help

Everyone can do something for the enviroment. All of us should do something, because enviroment is very important to people. Our planet is changing and we need to help it change for the better. One way how to help the enviroment is saving energy. You should switch off anything, that uses electricity. If you’re not using it, then turn it off, it’s simple. This goes for lights, televisions and so on. Also try unplugging if possible, because even when an appliance is turned off, it still may use power. You could switch your light bulbs to LED light bulbs, because these are using less energy and even last longer. If you use renewable energy sources, you won’t cause burning fossil fuels, that causes pollution. Another way how to help the enviroment would be saving water. Turn off the water, when you’re not using it. People often leave water running, when they’re brushing teeth- turn if off between rinses
Essay: People gain a lot from foreign travel There is a saying that many people gain a lot from foreign travel. In myopinion, it is certainly true. Every person tries to travel as much as possible. There is a huge number of advantages of foreign travel and I would like to describe some of them. One of the significant benefits is knowledge that we gain from travelling. It is quite an expensive hobby and poor people can`t afford it. They are not able to get experience in different foreign cultures because such people do not travel at all. Every culture differs from another and it is not possible to learn all of them. But everyone should try to see the
There are different ways of getting a green card, one of them is family sponsored, meaning that people with close relatives or family members who are US citizens are eligible for a permanent living permit and this way is relatively fast as it is top priority. There are also employment based green cards but this is mostly only a good option for skilled and well educated people and as we know these type of people aren’t usually an issue when talking about illegal immigration. It is also possible to win a living permit in the green card lottery but this is only for people born in certain countries that do not usually produce a lot of immigrants for the United States. For example people born in China or Mexico would not qualify for this. What are the problems caused by illegal aliens in the States? Usually the first argument against illegal immigration is that the immigrants are here to take jobs away from the
Education Estonian Style Until the age of 7 you usually go to kindergarten, which means that you obtain preschool education. In grades 1-9 you obtain basic education. In grades 7-9 in addition to obtaining basic education, it is possible for you to get prevocational training in basic school. For persons without basic education who have passed the minimum school-leaving age (17 years) it is possible to continue their education in vocational schools on vocational training programmes (within 0,52,5 years one obtains vocational skills) or in upper-secondary schools for adults. If you have basic education, then you have choices to continue your studies: Upper-secondary school for general upper-secondary education (3 years). Vocational school for vocational secondary education (at least 3 years). If you have (general or vocational) secondary education, then you have three choices
near the endless river or bottomless lake. I dream about place like this as I prefer clean fresh air and unpolluted water. I don't find myself very happy in little and uncomfortable house, so my dream house is very cozy, comfortable, well planned, with lost of gigantic windows. If you asked about rooms, I must say that I don't need many of them, but it is very important that all these rooms were as large as it is possible. The modern front door opens into a spacious hall, where are many portraits of family members, exotic flowers. As far as bedrooms they are very large, comfortable and elegant as well. There are soft, huge beds and many antique things. It makes me to feel comfortable. By the way, every bedroom has bathroom and toilet, which are spacious and modern. There are a majority of mirrors and wardrobes. There is no question that the accent of the house is living room, as it is the place
One of the largest issues today is underage smoking. The number of teens who smoke has dramatically risen over the past years. Smoking is one of the biggest causes of death and health diseases. Most of the youths start smoking to improve their self image with no attention of becoming addicted. The awareness of the harmful effects of smoking among young people has been rising but many of the young people ignore the dangers of smoking. One possible solution to reduce smoking is to educate the teens. Schools could have classes and seminars that increase the knowledge about the consequences of smoking. That way teens would be aware of the health problems such as many different cancers, heart diseases, asthma and strokes caused by cigarettes. Youths should also see the visuals how smoking ages skin and yellows teeth. Also a similar meetings for parents and students should be organised. After this parents might be
4 Used to & would Used to This often contrasts with the present. The contrast may be stated or understood. I used to go swimming a lot (but I don’t now). The negative form is either: I didn't use to or I used not to (rare for some speakers) The form I didn’t used to may also be found. This is usually considered incorrect, unless we consider used to as an unchanging semi-modal form. There is no present time reference possible. The Globe Theatre was a theatre in London associated with William Shakespeare. He wrote there many of his greatest plays. It was first built in 1599 by Shakespeare's playing company, the Lord Chamberlain's Men, and was destroyed by fire on 29 June 1613. It was rebuilt in June 1614 and closed in 1642. It stood on the bank of the River Thames in Southwark, London, England, UK. I´d like this style, they are so cool, but I think that in our time, not everyone will be wearing it. Her accessorise was so beautiful, she has a bracelets and two chain. Her makeup so beautiful, she has a eyeliner, lipstick, and mascara. As well as her hair color, suitable for her style. I think that this style is suitable for music singers such as Jason Derulo, Pitbull, and Flo Rida - preferably remix. If to judge by that as this girl it is dressed, it is possible to assume that it is engaged to hip hop. I think if it is engaged to hip hop it spends the free time in dance halls-where trains or goes on dancing battle, that most likely. I think that this style is very interesting, but it is not everyday. Nowadays a lot of people do not dress modestly, for example, such things as T-shirt, jacket, jeans and sneakers, and it looks very stylish identically. P.S. It is only my opinion.
