World in 2060 People have always been interested of what the future will look like. To be able to predict the future, you must know the past. Is the World livable in 50 years of time? Will there be flying cars? These questions run through our mind every time we put our minds to future. To start with, flying car is an expectation for future that has been pictured for a long time. In the industrial revolution scientist developed the most common things that we currently use in a very short term of time, thus why they can't do it again. For now, world is an oil dependent society, and that has to change, what is more, no secondary solution for petrol hasn't been proved successful. We might run out of petrol soon and therefore we need another source of energy that makes our lives easier. To sum up, future will always be a mystery
all his money into inventions to make men’s life a little easier. Tesla was born at the stroke of midnight between July 9th and 10th 1856. A fierce electrical storm raged that night. His father was an Orthodox priest. His mother accompanied by .one of the oldest Serbian families. In his boyhood he suffered from a peculiar reflection due to the appearance of images often descended from strong flashes of light. He was unable to distinguish whether what he saw was tangible or not. He pictured the Niagara in his imagination as a big wheel run by the Nature. In his room he could hear the ticking of a watch with 3 rooms between him and the timepiece. A carriage passed in a distance of a few miles fairly shacked his whole body The whistle of a distant locomotive vibrates so strongly in his ears that the pain was unbearable “The progressive development of man is vitally dependent on invention. It is the most important product of his creative brain
Another prominent figure in Gotham City was Catwoman. She was a highprofile jewel thief, first referred to only as The Cat, because of her cat mask. The woman behind the mask is Selina Kyle and her activities and costume has usually been explained as a response to having suffered a long history of abuse. Catwoman is often pictured as a love interest of Batman, sometimes even as the one true love of Bruce Wayne. By having such a personal connection with the hero, she has become less like a super villainess and more reminiscent of an antiheroine. III Tools of Trade Batman is most often distinguished by the variety of equipment he has at his disposal. What he lacks in superpowers, he makes up with tools such as a grappling hook, explosives and smoke
He served for 77 days on the front line in the Afghan War, although he was pulled out after an American website revealed his presence there. CHARITY WORK Diana became increasingly associated with numerous charities. As Princess of Wales she was expected to visit hospitals, schools, etc. Diana developed an intense interest in serious illnesses and health- related matters, including AIDS and leprosy. She was one of the first very high profile people to be pictured touching those afflicted with AIDS. This had a significant impact in changing people's opinions and attitudes to the disease. She was very at ease in meeting people from any background and even if they were ill or in hospices. The patients would react very favorably to her meetings. In addition, the Princess was a member of charities and organizations working with the homeless, youth, drug addicts and the elderly. From 1989, she was President of Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children.
- White circles positioned in 3D space. - Orange thin lines appearing and going into some of the white circles. - Lot of hexagons filled with graphical imagery Connotative look : - Blue color is mostly picked from the company's brandbook. It is associated with trust, hoenesty and loyality. From color pshycology persepctive its reliable, responsible, emits inner security and confidence. Blue is also referred as a sky or even pictured as a Earth atmosphere or a outer space. Therefore, in the video we sense this blue gradiant as a sky or a space. We also could feel that the company might be actually trustworthy. - The white circes on the backround look like stars. Along with the blue gradient of course. These white circes are firstly shaped as circles. And circles, viewing from the far distance, may look like a star. Another thing is their color. When we view the sun
His father was imprisoned because of debt and his family became very poor. Later on Dickens became rich He wrote about greed and debt and about rags to riches (to rags) He brings to light the political and economic oppression suffered by the poor, greatly critisizes the society and politics with the use of sarcasm Dickens symphatizes with the poor and implies that their woes result from society's unfairness not their own failings Wealthy people are mostly pictured harsh, selfish, cruel and heartless ,,Subdue your appetites, my dears, and you've conquered human nature." ,,Dignity, and even holiness too, sometimes,
The persistence of the Past is one of those tragi-comic blessings which each new age denies, coming cocksure on to the stage to mouth its claim to a perfect novelty. But no Age is so new as that! Human Nature, under its changing pretensions and clothes, is and ever will be very much of a Forsyte, and might, after all, be a much worse animal. Looking back on the Victorian era, whose ripeness, decline, and `fall-of' is in some sort pictured in "The Forsyte Saga," we see now that we have but jumped out of a frying-pan into a fire. It would be difficult to substantiate a claim that the case of England was better in 1913 than it was in 1886, when the Forsytes assembled at Old Jolyon's to celebrate the engagement of June to Philip Bosinney. And in 1920, when again the clan gathered to bless the marriage of Fleur with Michael Mont, the state of England is as surely too molten and bankrupt as in the eighties it was too
individual notes. Note that there is a red dot marking the 6th string on the above chord diagram. The red dot tells you that you are not to play that string. The sixth string of the A major chord is not played, but you play the rest. Throughout this newsletter series, every chord diagram will be accompanied by a picture of the chord being held on the fret board and video and audio of the chord being played for you to check with. Pictured below is the A major chord being played. Exercise: Playing the A Major Chord Position each finger with care, according to the above diagram. Make sure that each fingertip is placed directly behind the fret. Firstly, pluck across the strings one by one with your right hand, checking that each string rings clearly and is not muted or buzzing. Play the first Audio or video example to hear how the chord should sound. Now that we've looked at chord diagrams, I want to move on to strumming.

female (imported from Denmark) and a classic red tabby and white male. The result was 1 silver tabbies and 2 silver tabbies with white. At just over 3 months old, this silver and white tabby male developed a large patch of bright red hair on his back which continued to spread. Eventually the whole fur will become amber. The effect of amber during the colour-change stage depends on the original colour - solid black or blue, bicolour or tabby. The cat pictured is not a typical amber as it has the silver gene so the amber effect is overlaid on silver. A non-agouti amber Norwegian forest Cat resembles a silver tabby, but has a distinctive black nose and black paw-pads instead of the pink/reddish nose with black outlining found on conventional silver tabbies. The photo below shows a non-agouti amber. According to Rui Pacheco, although this cat is clearly non-agouti because of the black nose, he has the phenotype of a silver shaded
In the ancient world, where abstract qualities such as luck, love, war, and victory were personified, humanized, and worshipped as gods, the potent force of polarity was recognized in the person of the Greek god Agon, the force of struggle and conflict, ruling over athletic events and contests of all kinds, even legal disputes, for agon also means a judgment. In an athletic event or a courtroom, a judgment is being made about who is the best or who is right. Agon was pictured as a young athlete carrying a pair of jumping weights called "haltères" in his hands. T h e weights gave the jumper an extra boost on long jumps and may have been a symbol of some quality associated with Agon, perhaps an extra edge he gave to the athlete who prayed and offered sacrifice to him. There was an altar 332 POLARITY
only by a speaker whose assumed vantage point is the party location itself. (Note too that what counts is the vantage point at the time of the party under discussion, not at the time of utterance; this is yet another context variable, usually called the reference time.) In (2c), the vantage point shifts fluidly from the place of utterance to the pasture spring, or at least to somewhere along the journey at which the speaker is pictured as ahead of the hearer. Arriving at Princeton to give a talk, I am met by a former colleague whom I last saw teaching at Wellesley. I ask, "Are you here now?," asking not whether she is physically located in Princeton (duhh) but whether she is now employed in the Princeton philosophy department (Nunberg 1993: 28); thus truth-value can vary with employing institution. Or take (3) Tomorrow is always the biggest party night of the year

anticipating, or seeing my new set of friends. If I was being honest with myself, I knew I was eager to get to school because I would see Edward Cullen. And that was very, very stupid. I should be avoiding him entirely after my brainless and embarrassing babbling yesterday. And I was suspicious of him; why should he lie about his eyes? I was still frightened of the hostility I sometimes felt emanating from him, and I was still tongue-tied whenever I pictured his perfect face. I was well aware that my league and his league were spheres that did not touch. So I shouldn't be at all anxious to see him today. It took every ounce of my concentration to make it down the icy brick driveway alive. I almost lost my balance when I finally got to the truck, but I managed to cling to the side mirror and save myself. Clearly, today was going to be nightmarish. Driving to school, I distracted myself from my fear of falling and my unwanted speculations about
to the others. They were soon gone again, rising from their seats with an activity which took their brother by surprise, and hurrying off as if eager to escape from Mrs. Bennet's civilities. The prospect of the Netherfield ball was extremely agreeable to every female of the family. Mrs. Bennet chose to consider it as given in compliment to her eldest daughter, and was particularly flattered by receiving the invitation from Mr. Bingley himself, instead of a ceremonious card. Jane pictured to herself a happy evening in the society of her two friends, and the attentions of her brother; and Elizabeth thought with pleasure of dancing a great deal with Mr. Wickham, and of seeing a confirmation of everything in Mr. Darcy's look and behaviour. The happiness anticipated by Catherine and Lydia depended less on any single event, or any particular person, for though they each, like Elizabeth, meant to dance half the evening with Mr
