virginity before his next birthday, and to extinguish the flame between his mother and an ex- lover who has resurfaced in her life. In my opinion, Oliver was weird. He had his own thoughts and rules like to lose his virginity before his next birthday. He had his own weird friends, and few girl friends. There were times, when Oliver was kind of caring, kind, considering and helpful but most of the times he was very lonely (except being with Jordana). He wanted his parents to love each other passionately and he had pretty much work with this. Then there was Jordana, a girl who was very unusual. To me she seemed a bit angry and kind of shy. She liked to do things that other girls on her age never would do. That pretty much says the basic things about her. Oliver parents were weirder than Oliver. They rarely talked to each other. This movie was weird to me. I didn't get the main idea of this movie. All that I understand is that Oliver, Jordana and his family were unusual

People who does not have their own life

In Estonia we have this saying: "In the one edge of a village you farted but in the other edge of village people tell that you pooped yourself." I'm not saying that I never want to know what do other people talk about or I never talk my friends what I have heard. The difference is that I don't judge we're all humans and have our pros and gons. Unfortunately those people don't understand that and at the end of the day everyone knows that Pete and Julia kissed passionately eventhogh they actually just hugged. What's worse why do people even care about this kind of stuff. This is pretty much what I wanted to say about that topic. I'm just sad when people doesn't have their own life to deal with so they take another's life and evaluate it.

It's almost a religion for some of the fans. Week after week millions of Spaniards pack themselves in local bars and passionately follow their favorite soccer teams. Antoni Gaudi: Antoni Gaudi was born in southern Catalonia in 1852. Gaudi's work is admired by architects around the World. His work has greatly influenced the face of Barcelona Architecture and you will see Gaudi's work all over the city. Discuss the representation of the generation of fathers in Turgenev’s novel “Fathers and Sons”

and Sons" Turgenev always had two tasks before him to depict the body and pressure of time, and to depict the rapidly changing face of cultured Russian society (Freeborn 1960:48). Kluchevsky (1993:40) defined one case of the generation gap in the beginning of the XIX century as "merry cosmopolitan sentimentality of the fathers now transformed in a patriotic grief of their children. The Fathers were Russians, who passionately wanted to become French; the sons were raised as French and passionately wanted to become Russians. Fathers and Sons situates this generational conflict within family relations. In this essay, the ways how Turgenev represents the generation of Fathers in Fathers and Sons is discussed. Fathers and Sons is set in between Russia's defeat in the Crimean War and the Emancipation of the Serfs a socially challenging area. Mid-19 th century Russian intellectual life was characterized by a radical split between the `fathers' and `sons'. The older generation was

Emma is often indiscreet, and the townspeople all gossip about her. Charles, however, suspects nothing. His adoration for his wife and his stupidity combine to blind him to her indiscretions. His professional reputation, meanwhile, suffers a severe blow when he and Homais attempt an experimental surgical technique to treat a club-footed man named Hippolyte and end up having to call in another doctor to amputate the leg. Disgusted with her husband's incompetence, Emma throws herself even more passionately into her affair with Rodolphe. She borrows money to buy him gifts and suggests that they run off together and take little Berthe with them. Soon enough, though, the jaded and worldly Rodolphe has grown bored of Emma's demanding affections. Refusing to elope with her, he leaves her. Heartbroken, Emma grows desperately ill and nearly dies. By the time Emma recovers, Charles is in financial trouble from having to borrow money to pay off Emma's debts and to pay for her treatment

Continuing Katherine Mansfield's short story "Mrs. Brill"

“The oak tree symbolizes you, how strong you are and also it shows how strong and big our love for you is,” states the man. “Yes mommy, our love for you reaches even the highest stars!” says the girl happily. “The roses symbolize how beautiful you are, and how fragile and sweet you are from the inside,” explains the man to his wife. He steps closer to his wife and grabs her by her waist. “I love you!” exclaims the man loudly. He caresses her cheek and kisses her passionately. Miss Brill stepped closer to the oak tree and gave it a hug. After that she walked next to the rosebush. She squatted and put her nose between the bush, letting the amazing smell of roses come into her nose. The clock stroke midnight, meaning that this unusual day had passed. The reason for the day being bizarre was not the couple in the park or not going to the baker’s. No. It was the fact that after three years she allowed herself to flash back into the times when she felt that she

5) Other cases Bathos is ruining a solemn effect by bringing together unrelated elements. The later are: · Words belonging to different stylistic groups--colloquial and literary words together (I aint discussing it with my parent) · Using colloquial words when speaking about famous people (That Shakespeare chap) · Mentioning a down-to-earth object side by side with something lofty (they were kissing passionately. The pigs were grunting loudly) Bathos adds humor and irony. Allusion is a reference to something presumably known to the reader--to literature, history, mythology, facts of everyday life, etc. Usually, no indication of source is given. Normally they create festive, solemn implications, but many also result humour if used inappropriately. Often allusions are lost in a text, they are not supplied with the quotation marks. (Mary's lamb--nursery rhyme, Commander Statue--Don Juan)

of slavery. English abolitionism gained its greatest victory in 1833 when slavery was abolished throughout the British empire. The period between 1787 and 1833 represented the zenith of English abolitionist literature, but even after 1833 English authors continued to denounce the existence of slavery in the New World, targeting especially the United States. Writers such as Frances Trollope, Walter Savage Landor, and Charles Dickens expressed scorn that the new nation could so passionately point to their revolutionary heritage of liberty and equality while allowing the enslavement of more than half a million black slaves in the South. Others, such as the author of the anonymous 1852 novel Uncle Tom in England, which was published months after Harriet Beecher Stowe's classic Uncle Tom's Cabin, sought to shame the United States by unfavorably comparing the social hierarchy in America to that in Britain

"We don't really know. Carlisle has a theory... he believes that we all bring something of our strongest human traits with us into the next life, where they are intensified -- like our minds, and our senses. He thinks that I must have already been very sensitive to the thoughts of those around me. And that Alice had some precognition, wherever she was." "What did he bring into the next life, and the others?" "Carlisle brought his compassion. Esme brought her ability to love passionately. Emmett brought his strength, Rosalie her... tenacity. Or you could call it pigheadedness." he chuckled. "Jasper is very interesting. He was quite charismatic in his first life, able to influence those around him to see things his way. Now he is able to manipulate the emotions of those around him -- calm down a room of angry people, for example, or excite a lethargic crowd, conversely. It's a very subtle gift." I considered the impossibilities he described, trying to take it in

"Don't be sorry. Today has been the best day of my life." "Really?" I watched him slide the ring onto his right ring finger. "I wanted to please you. Does it fit? I had to guess..." "It's perfect. You're perfect." Gideon caught up my hands and kissed my ring; then watched as I repeated the gesture with his. "What you make me feel, Eva...it hurts." My pulse leaped. "Is that bad?" "It's wonderful." He cupped my face, his ring cool against my cheek. He kissed me passionately, his lips demanding against mine, his tongue thrusting with wicked skill into my mouth. I wanted more, but restrained myself, thinking that I'd already gone overboard enough for one day. Plus, he'd been too distracted by my unexpected appearance to frost the glass wall to give us privacy. "Tell me again what you said in the car," he whispered. "Hmm...I don't know." I brushed my free hand over his vest. I was afraid to tell him again that I loved him
