Illegal Immigration in America Essay Often the United States is referred to as the land of opportunity. No wonder a lot of people want to experience it – in fact a survey found out that about 165 million adults worldwide would immigrate to the United States if they had the opportunity. Unfortunately not everyone who decides to live in America does it legally and that’s where the problems begin. Illegal immigration is not a new issue in the United States. For many years immigrants have crossed the American border through Mexico, the Pacific Ocean or some other way. Also there are people who enter the country with a visa but stay for a longer time than it allows them to. Every day thousands of immigrants come to the United States and in March 2010 the estimated number of illegal aliens in the States was about 11 200 000. About eight million of them had jobs.
P2P networks are probably the most common and accessible to the average internet user, there are a host of other applications or methods that provide the same services and in many cases faster access to more content. With its rise in popularity and acceptance by many, file sharing has sparked debate that questions the ethics of those that embrace it. In the United States, the unauthorized distribution of copyrighted material is illegal. Thus, is the sharing of copyrighted files also illegal or should it be considered theft? Does the digital format in which the files are transferred protect the 2 distributors from the law? These questions are just a couple of the many that arise and are argued by advocates and opponents alike. Advocates of file sharing also support the notion that internet piracy has no economic impact and if it does, the impact is insignificant and can be easily defended. File sharers

If there are multiple wives and husbands it can be called group marriage. Mormonism is to say that it was dedicated to restoring everything in the Bible. Joseph Smith,Jr., Mormonism's founding prophet, who felt especially close to the Old Testament, believed his mission was to restore the customs from the Old Testament including the ancient Semitic custom of plural marriage. He himself did not acknowledge having multiple wives publicly since it was illegal. After Joseph Smith's murder by a mob on June 27, 1844, the main body of Mormons followed Brigham Young to Utah where the practice of plural marriage continued. Polygamy was illegal in all US territories. Very harsh anti- polygamy legislation in the US led some Mormons to emigrate to Canada and Mexico. Since the Second Manifesto in 1904, a policy was adopted for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints

social problems: such as injuries, unprotected sex, violence, deaths, vehicle accidents, homo and suicides and mortality. Drug abuse makes central nervous system effects, which produce changes in mood, levels of awareness or perceptions and sensations. Some drugs appear to be more likely to lead to uncontrolled use than others. Bans Most governments have designed legislation to criminalise certain types of drug use. These drugs are often called "illegal drugs" but generally what is illegal is their unlicensed production, distribution, and possession. These drugs are also called "controlled substances". Even for simple possession, legal punishment can be quite severe. Laws vary across countries, and even within them, and have fluctuated widely throughout history. Despite drug legislation large, organized criminal drug cartels operate world-wide. Advocates of decriminalization argue that drug prohibition makes drug dealing a lucrative business,
Because of that there are a lot of piracy in that world and I think that it is one of the biggest crime of nowadays technological ear. Piracy is a form of theft. Morden technology has made wide-scale trading of music possible in the form of MP3 files available over the internet for free, all at the click of a mouse. We have to consider that not everything on the internet is legal. Sharing and downloading music and films is most of the time illegal, but everyone thinks that ,,if everyone is doing it and not getting in trouble, then it must be ok." Some of people thinks that illegal file sharing even helps the music industry. Before you are downloading or sharing some files that you don't own, you should firstly think about that if you would be happy, when you are giving yourself into something and you get nothing back, because of the others, who's giving it away for free. It's like working for free
Studies going on for 25 years show a link between heavy teen smoking and fear of going outside (agoraphobia). Teens who smoke were 6 times more likely to get agoraphobia. And, teen smokers were 15 times more likely to have panic attacks than teens who did not smoke. Scientists think the reason is that nicotine hurts blood vessels to the brain, and also blocks air from the lungs. Whatever the reason, teen smokers are more likely to have panic attacks, anxiety disorders, and depression. Illegal Drugs When people talk about the "drug problem," they usually mean abusing legal drugs or using illegal drugs, such as marijuana, ecstasy, cocaine, LSD, crystal meth and heroin. Cocaine is a white powder that comes from the dried leaves of the coca plant that is found in South America. Crack cocaine is a form of the drug that gives a very quick, intense high. Crack is made by cooking cocaine powder with baking soda, then breaking it into small pieces called rocks

In December 2006, it was estimated that Estonian criminals were responsible for 140 robberies of jewellery and watch stores in Finland, the Netherlands, Portugal, Italy, Spain, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Denmark, and Sweden during the last three years. The value of the lost property is estimated to be 25 million Euros.[1] Today transnational Estonian organised crime is predominantly about smuggling drugs, alcohol, and other illegal or high-tax goods from Russia to Finland, Sweden, and elsewhere in the Baltic Sea. Estonia is a relatively safe country, although there are some situations, where people should be more careful crime has been increased lately. We could count different type of crimes, but most common are smuggling and robberies. Many people like something, what do not belong to them. A high blood alcohol content is usually considered to be legal drunkenness because it reduces attention and slows reaction speed. Alcohol can be addictive, and the state of addiction to alcohol is known as alcoholism. Doing drugs Recreational drug use is the use of a drug, usually psychoactive, with the intention of creating or enhancing recreational experience. Such use is controversial, however, often being considered to be also drug abuse, and it is often illegal. Also, it may overlap with other uses, such as medicinal (including self medication), performance enhancement, and entheogenic (spiritual). 3. Crime It is a disease, yet one of the basic doings of humanity. Crime has existed since the beginning of time. Ever since Kain slayed Abel, there has been crime. Though not only murder is a crime. Thievery, rape, arsonism and many more jolly things like that- they are all things that can be placed in a big metal barrel with the word crime written on it in blood. Actually everything illegal belongs there. And those who do it, they should be burned alive. There is no cure for being a thief, arsonist or a murderer. Only death can cure it. It is easy to become a criminal. For example, if you get sacked from your job, yet you have a family to feed, then it is easy to pocket some wallets or purses on the street and sell them. That would be the begining of a most likely long cycle, that usually ends with death or imprisonment. It is not easy to escape
There are advantages as well as disadvantages of getting international aid. International aid could help in improving the country's position in the world. International aid can contribute to fighting global poverty, hunger and help get access to medical care. It can also provide to solve problems like terrorism, rehabilitation and many other problems. However, receiving countries could misuse international aid. Money could use to fund illegal activities and the strengthening of armed forces. International aid should be used very wisely and judiciously, only then can we eliminate poverty and hunger and other problems in the world. Why? There are many ways to minimise teenage crime. Possible solutions 1. We have to enlarge collaboration with teenages. 2. More hobbies for them like sport or music 3. catch them in to joint action 4. more different interesting opportunities 5. Practice different social skills with him/her, such as greeting others, "breaking the ice," asking questions, and listening well. You also can role-play ways to resist peer pressure, such as offers of alcohol, tobacco, or illegal drugs from other kids. 6. minimise narcotic drug and weapons accessibility 7. Fight against narcotic drugs. The fight against drugs is very important not only for preventing drug offences but for reducing crime as such. Conclusion I believe crime will only get better if the community, and our society, gets stronger. Today's young people need adult's interaction without this we can't prepare them for the transition from childhood to adulthood. 202 words

MY HOBBY My hobby is roller-skating. I roller-skate whenever I can cause roller-skating is my favorite hobby. This hobby got started when I was a little boy. I had always wanted my parents to teach me how to ride with roller-skates. Soon they got fed up and tired of my bagging to get some roller-skates. So they bought me a pair of roller-skates. So as soon as I could, I learned to roller-skate. I started with just standing still with them. Soon I could roller-skate across the street. Now I roller-skate just about everywhere where it's possible. The wonderful thing about roller-skating is that I do not have to buy a bus ticket. For example, I do not have to be in traffic congestion. Also I do not have to buy some lamellae tires to drive in winter because I can ride a bus in winter. I can ride in some indoor skating park at winter. Roller-skates provide the rider with so much information about balancing a...

As a tourist it is also a way to learn about other cultures. It is possible to go almost averywhere and to do almost everything. As the tsunami few months ago proved can total destruction of tourism-industry be quite devastating to victim-country´s economy. The fact that tourism is the main income of a country may one day become a huge problem. Besides that there is also another problem. Sometimes some people just act being a tourist. Their actual intention is to find a job and to stay as an illegal citizen. As we can see from reality there are more pros than cons. Otherwise there would be no multi- billion industry and tourism would not be so popular. There will always be so called risk- group countries where natural disaster could wipe out the main income, but we have to accept it as a natural part of our lives.
Capital Punishment Should (not) Be Abolished Capital punishment or the death penalty is the killing of the person as the punishment for offence. To get the capital punishment, you need to do a very serious crime, like homicide, or even more serious than that. The pros of a capital punishment are that if the person gets that punishment, he or she will never get a chance to do something that cruel again. Sometimes the criminals, who get a prison sentence, do something illegal again, after that punishment. Second pro is that it's cheaper for the country to kill the person, than to pay for his/her food and clothes for the rest of his/her life in the prison. Although the killing of the person also needs money, it's still way cheaper than to pay for at least 40 years for all the life needs in prison. The main con of the capital punishment is that if the person actually didn't commit the crime, he or she was punished for, will die as innocent. Nobody can

In this world vampires are a reality. They have also invented synthetic blood, which makes it unnecessary to feed on humans. And vampire blood is an addictive and illegal drug. Sookie falls in love with Bill. A lot of murders occur in Bon Temps. Bill and her brother are main suspects at some point because the bodies have fang marks and Jason is suspected because he had a relationship with two of the victims. Sookie tries to help both of them and she starts searching for information about who might have been the murderer. Her grandmother is also killed and she has to start living alone. Most of the times she's at work
Despite the fact that you have the freedom of choice to do everything you want to there are many disadvantages. Like your mom is not there every day to prepare you a hot dish, doing the laundry and washing the tableware, also all the phone-, water- and electricity bills to be paid or the simple fact that you have to buy everything from the food to the toilet paper - all by yourself. This may be too difficult to high school students. So you might end up using large amounts of alcohol or some illegal substances to relax more in the weekends. On the other hand there are also advantages. It's a great chance when the person realizes all the responsibility that he or she has to deal with. But you are not alone, there always be some support from home by helping you with cash for the food and rent. I do not think the main advantage of living all by yourself is partying, friends and girls I think the main advantage is that you can get some warm-up for mature life.
Report The aim of this report is to compare Estonian and British students opinion on educational system. We wrote down our opinion on the 6th of september 2012 in our english class. We had 12 students who gave an opinion about the Estonian educational system. Corporal punishment is illegal in British and Estonian schools. 62% of British childrens think that it would be needful but only 31% Estonian childrens have the same opinion. Actually it could be not banned, because if they used controlled corporal punishment it is not likely to be harmful. I would argue that there were actually fewer discipline problems back in the old days when corporal punishment was more common. Most school in England require children to wear school uniform. Estonian children no longer

Is It a Crime to Download Music Free of Charge? Nowadays, a lot of people listen to music on their computer and most of the time they download it illegally. I obviously understand that it is illegal and we should not do it but the question is, should we be able to do it legally. To begin with, music is a big part of our lives. If children were not given the ability to cheer them up with music, the depression levels would definitely be higher, as well as less motivation in children. For an example, the average American child listens to 4 hours of music in a day. I personally listen to at least 5 hours of music a day and all that from the computer when I get home.
the following issues. Firstly, I am not the kind of person whose glass is always half empty mine is half full but there are some negative aspects that disturb me . Walking down the street I notice litter such as wraps of different kind of junk food, old cigarettes and pieces of gum. Furthermore, I would make the people understand not to throw their trash on the ground but to recycle everything. Make it so that it is illegal to trash and it is the law to recycle. So that eventually everyone would take trash personally. Secondly, When ever I turn on the television there are commercials after commercials. Everything is circling around profits these days. I would change that. I would not want to completely destroy money but to have it as an utility that everyone has. Moreover, people would take pride in producing earth friendly high quality items. Not because of money but because it brings them joy.

Lady's slipper (orchid), with the largest flowers of all European orchid species, is placed under protection by law everywhere. Pink Lady's Slipper is endangered in some areas because they take a long time to grow, and because people collect them. Also, since Pink Lady's Slippers cannot grow without the Rhizoctonia fungus, the plants people collect usually die anyway. There are significant efforts to protect Pink Lady's Slippers, and in most places it is now illegal to remove them from their habitat. Thanks for listening! :)
Only the students of Jõhvi Gymnasium were within the scope of the survey, we got a total of 58 respondents. Throughout the work, we revealed that our estimated problem of drug abuse in Jõhvi Gymnasium didn't meet our limits. The problem was that over 70% of the respondents consumed or have consumed legal drugs such as tobacco and alcohol, and over 50% of these respondents were minors, it can be inferred that high school students' way of life is quite unhealthy. Use of illegal drugs among young people was less than 50% and thus a reasonable result. Two of the most common illegal substances used were, Cannabis and Ecstasy, a little bit less frequent yet mentioned are amphetamine and sedatives/hypnotics. 15 The frequency of drug abuse among young people was not very problematic, because the majority of the respondents had not used drugs or illegal substances, or have tried once.

They have to fit in to their “pack “ and at the same time learn new imporant and lessimportant information and skills. It also reminds them that life is usually hard and tedious. There are many ways for living a less stressful life. The most popular and also the worst method is to change your bodies chemical composition with legal and illegal substances. That is only a short- term solution and makes the situation even worse, because you become dependant on these substances. But there are other better albeit slower solutions. For example breathing slower and meditating has been found beneficial for stressreilief. Even some foods have been shown to reduce the level of cortisol in our body. Cortisol is a stressinducing hormone that sends signals to the body, when your brain thinks it is in trouble. So the best cure

Some regions haven't got any respect for women, they are treated as slaves, worth nothing. Men are allowed to marry many women, numbers from two to fourty, that depends on the specific location. 8-year-old girls are wedded with 38-year-old men. Function of a wife is to give birth, do chores and be shut. In regions, where women are equal to men, the multiple marridge is only a husbands fantasy and selling sex is illegal, are well developed believes and rules, which apply to everyone, to make life worthy for all to live it. No woman complains, or atleast they shouldn't complain, because there are people with bigger problems than a horny boss laying his hands on bodyparts he shouldn't. Soviet forces reconquered Estonia in the autumn of 1944 after fierce battles in the northeast of the country on the Narva river and on the Tannenberg Line. Tens of thousands of people chose to eighter retreat together with the Germans or flee to Finland or Sweden, becoming war refugees and later, expatriates. The United States, United Kingdom and the majority of other western democracies considered the annexation of Estonia by USSR illegal.
