North Estonia is quite flat and low. Here are very nice waterfront brights with its capes and cliffs. SouthEstonia is more hilly, but here are no mountains or mountains chains. The highest point of Estonia the SuurMunamägi (the Great Egg Mountain) is here in SouthEstonia. It is 318 meters above sea level. The largest industrial citys are located in Eastern Estonia. In Western Estonia there are many beautiful nature parks. Hinterland is mainly agricultural. Estonia is known for its thousands of lakes and beautiful nature. One of the most interesting sight is Jägala waterfall. The largest Lake called Peipsi separates Estonia from Russia. The biggest river basin is around the Pärnu river. There are very large forested areas in Estonia and wood is an important export article. Unfortunately is Estonia quite poor in other natural resources. The main mineral resources are sand, limestone and shale.

The minority who were fit enough erected shelters near the beach at Cape Cod for a start, and then set about reconnoitring the hinterland for sustenance. Had it not been for friendlier native Americans who taught them their skills, the Pilgrims might never have survived. The natives acted as guides through the forests and taught the colonists woodcraft, trapping, hunting, how to make maple sugar, moccasins and birch-bark canoes and how to raise crops of maize and tobacco. They also introduced the colonists to the turkey, which was native to North America.

Ordinary mammals live also in Australia and these mammals are mostly imported there. Marsupials are kangaroos, wombats, koalas, Tasmanian wolfs and Tasmanian devils. The Koala is found all along the eastern coast of Australia from near Adelaide to the southern part of Cape York Peninsula, and as far into the hinterland as there is enough rainfall to support suitable forests. They are the cutest and lovelies animals of Australia. Koala accepts humans but if you really disturb them, they become aggressive. The Koala lives almost entirely on eucalyptus leaves. Koala has very long arms and very well developed paws. It eats about 2 pounds leaves a day. The koalas never drink anything and even their name koala means "no water". Shops of Valga were influenced by smuggled goods, which were sold at lower prices from hand to hand. Mostly leather products and clothes smuggled from Latvia to Estonia. In spite of custom duties the local people bought often clothes and consumer goods from Latvia. Splitting the town and border determination had a quite large influence for Valga. Traffic connections between the town and its surroundings became more complicated. Big part of natural town hinterland was lost and Latvian territory was surrounding Valga from three sides creating problems with people daily lives and transportation connections. However, both countries made efforts to simplify the border crossing to ease the day to day life for local residents. Also a lot of roads and railways were converted and new one was built. Despite numerous agreements and restructurings, the border line was rather troublesome factor in development of Valga.
