"Don't eat me, slant-eyed hare! I will sing you a song," said the rolling bun, and sang: I was scraped from the cupboard, Swept from the bin, Kneaded with sour cream, Fried in butter, And cooled on the sill. A memory of my childhood

Like in any other winter morning i rushed to the window sill to see if the dwarves have left something in my christmas stocking. I remember exactly, what was in there that day, it was kinder surprise. I liked kinder surprises a lot, because the chocolate would melt in your mouth and there was a surprise between the two halves of the chocolate. At 1 o'clock, the guests arrived. They were my grandparents. Guests brought pies made by grandma and a beautiful bunch of flowers since i'd just had my birthday a week before. Mother asked me to take out a vase to put the flowers in the water. So i did and i climbed on top of a chair to grab my favourite vase with blue flowers on it. Suddenly i noticed a lot of sweets on the top shelf of the drawer and also drawings i had drawn to santa claus. I shouted "mommy, is this the dwarves' storage place?" I was frustrated, because they hadn't delivered

The highest result of education is tolerance

The highest result of education is tolerance

when you are unwilling to be open-minded and do not listen to other people's ideas. It is actually very sad. I am rather sure that those people do not think about how they may hurt others with their sayings caused by their intolerance. So do you remember my question at the beginning of the speech? Why do we need to tolerate weird kids at school? I hope by now you have figured out that because they may turn out to be rich and successful one day. But in all seriousness my grandma once said to me: `'Oh, my child, never be mean to people, tolerate them, be patient and kind. Even to those who you do not agree with. That makes you better and smarter.'' I have lived by those words. And I think every person in this world should. After all, the highest result of education is not only about having good grades. It is about having an open-mind with the people around you during the process of your education, about how much you have learned from others.

Ameerika kirjandus alates I maailmasõjast kuni tänapäevani.

Finally such small landowners are forced to give up their land and farms. Three generations of Joad's family are depicted in the book, Steinberg does not idealize them. They are illiterate, very suspicious, ignorat, quick tempered and crude- unsophistaicaded. However there are good qualities too, family comes first with them, there is wisdom, generosity, courage and persistance. Steinberg paints the portraits with ove and humour. The first generation we have Grandpa and Grandma. The founders of the family, they die at the end of the journey, their death is symbolical. Grandpa is lusty and indescent. And grandma is very religious and bios and sufferind all the time. Pa, Ma-father and mother, Pa is the official head of the family, has worked hard all his life to support his large family, but he hasn't been very succesful at it.
