Nobody can win a war

Nobody can win a war

Nobody can win a war. Historically people have always been at war. Everyone had their own reason for a war. One thought, that getting of the worldwide power is the goal of his life, another wanted to get more money, territory or even some kind of revenge. Bur war brings with it human's deaths, innocent victims, hunger, illnesses, violence, distractions etc. Is this worth fighting? On the one hand, there are some people who are able to kill houndreds of innocent victims to make his goal realized, because he has a power and he is allowed to do everything he wants. In addition to that, sometimes people use a war just to justify their revenge, they just use the power, they have, to satisfy own ambitions to feel a win's spirit. So they become winners, but it is only formally.

the questions about my school. First, yes, we wear uniforms what consist of button-down blue or white blouses or polo shirts and a pleated blue and green plaid skirt. At our school we do not wear a miniskirt teamed with thigh-high socks, pink lipstick and a bare midriff. But we do have casual days when we can dress down at least once a month. Sometimes some of us are barley recognizable without uniform. Second, no boys in our school, and it's a relief not having to deal with the distractions during class time. There are two all-boys school in neighborhood and they hold open dances that are great for checking out prospective prom dates. Third, girls sports are extremely popular in our school. When our school plays another at basketball, our tiny gym is packed with crazy fans cheering on their classmates. Fourthly, here you're not a dork just because you're smart. It's cool be smart and hard-working. And there's plenty of help available for students who need it

The advantages and disadvantages of an internet.

Whereas uploading news to the computer network is very fast, is the internet better than TV shows or radio. Secondly is an internet the biggest infomation resource, where you can find almost anything you need. The third point is wide opportunity of communicating with other people. For instance you may use different programs such as skype or MSN Messenger. Nonetheless has the internet many disadvantages too. Namely has the computer network so many different distractions, such as games, chatting, music or movies that many people spend all their spare time sitting in front of computer. Chatting and communicating frequently through the internet may make us unsocial in real life moreover people often say things and act in the computer networks in the way they would never do in real life. In summary I would say that internet has both positive and negative sides, in my opinion it is just

words are chosen to simply fill a page. Handwriting provides an escape from the looming word counts and page numbers. We discussed in class how writing by hand forces you to think out your sentences and chose your words more carefully. I agree that while typing we simply type whatever comes to mind and completely. This creates less don't think through our ideas effective points and poorer results. A main problem I notice when I write essays on my laptop, is all of the distractions that come along with using the computer. I have music and internet at my fingertips and this can dramatically change the quality of writing. With the ability to distract yourself with entertainment it is far too easy to ignore your assignment and encourage writers block. The screen also is tiring to look at and gives me a headache after a while. There are benefits of writing on the computer with word processing software. The writing process is much faster than hand writing

Periodically shift your eyes to the side-view mirrors, the rear-view mirror, and ahead to where you'll be in 10-15 seconds. Doing this, you can spot a potentially dangerous situation before it happens. 10 Dim your lights when driving at night, when another car is approaching, or when you are following behind a vehicle. Your lights can temporarily blind another driver. 3. 1 Avoid distractions when you are driving. Pull over if you need to talk on the phone, read directions, or eat a snack. It only takes a second or two of distraction to get into trouble.

time and eternity." This is only one of his inspiring thoughts. "On the one hand, silence is like fertile soil, which, as it were, awaits our creative act, our seed," Pärt said. "On the other hand, silence must be approached with a feeling of awe. And when we speak about silence, we must keep in mind that it has two different wings, so to speak. Silence can be both that which is outside of us and that which is inside a person. The silence of our soul, which isn't even affected by external distractions, is actually more crucial but more difficult to achieve." "A lot of people have this impression that he's a bit of a recluse, sort of monk-like. Yes, when you see him. But as soon as you speak to him and get to know him, I tell you, he has the most wonderful sense of humor and a most engaging personality," once said countertenor David James of the Hilliard Ensemble, a group that began championing Pärt's music in the 1980s. When Huizenga asked Pärt how he liked being thought of as a mystic

Sandrigham house

Sandrigham house

Although a Royal residence for only 150 years, Sandringham abounds in history. It has seen the deaths of two monarchs; suffered its share of wartime tragedy; and been the venue for the first ever Christmas Broadcast. The story began in 1862. Prince Albert, husband of Queen Victoria, was looking for a country home for his eldest son, Albert Edward, Prince of Wales, before his twentieth birthday. The idea was to find a healthy retreat for his young son, away from the distractions of the city. Before a decision had been reached, the Prince Consort died suddenly of typhoid in December 1861. It was left up to his eldest son to conclude the house-hunt. After paying a visit to Sandringham on 3 February 1862, the Prince of Wales was impressed enough to have decided by the end of the day that he wanted to buy the house. For the house and furnishings, the Prince paid £220,000. Sandringham's first role was as a home for newly-weds. Prince Albert Edward married

Customer oriented organisation structure of the resort needs to respond immediately on all customer's needs. This cannot be created by a conqrete model because of the uniqness of every segment. Every segment gives an opportunity to respond on customer's needs more flexible and emphatic way. The biggest distractions of family enterprises are Estonian legislation and the little involvement of the local people by tourism leaders. As a solution of the problem the results of that thesis will be introduced to Pärnu Town Government. According to the theoretical sources the most suitable spa type for the segment of Estonian domestic family tourists is a Wellpital. The basis of the resort concept could be family enterprises. To answer a higher Call to express ourselves, we artists may have to refuse the Call of what Joseph Campbell terms "the blandishments of the world." W h e n you are getting ready to undertake a great adventure, the Ordinary W o r l d knows somehow and clings to you. It sings its sweetest, most insistent song, like the Sirens trying to draw Odysseus and his crew onto the rocks. Countless distractions tempt you off track as you begin to work. Odysseus had to stop up the ears o f his men with wax so they wouldn't be lured onto the rocks by the Sirens' bewitching song. However, Odysseus first had his men tie him to the mast, so he could hear the Sirens but would be unable to steer the ship into danger. Artists sometimes ride through life like Odysseus lashed to the mast, with all senses deeply experiencing the song of life, but also voluntarily bound to the ship of their art

I was glad to leave campus, so I would be free to pout and mope before I went out tonight with Jessica and company. But right after I walked in the door of Charlie's house, Jessica called to cancel our plans. I tried to be happy that Mike had asked her out to dinner -- I really was relieved that he finally seemed to be catching on -- but my enthusiasm sounded false in my own ears. She rescheduled our shopping trip for tomorrow night. Which left me with little in the way of distractions. I had fish marinating for dinner, with a salad and bread left over from the night before, so there was nothing to do there. I spent a focused half hour on homework, but then I was through with that, too. I checked my e-mail, reading the backlog of letters from my mother, getting snippier as they progressed to the present. I sighed and typed a quick response. Mom, Sorry. I've been out. I went to the beach with some friends. And I had to write a paper.
