From his point of view these are the only solutions but he is not thinking about Lotte who really appreciates him as a dear friend. Werthers low self-esteem and unhappiness are connected to his decisions throughout the book, for example when he leaves Lotte and turns back to Weimar. He could have fought some more and not give up so easily. Although Lotte denies it Werther was much loved by her, he just did not try hard enough. If he had higher self-esteem and goals then I believe he would have achieved his purpose to win the heart of Lotte. Werther thinks that the only way to end his sorrows is to commit suicide but he does not have enough positivness to keep on fighting for her and start with accepting Lotte's friendship. He cannot find happiness and he takes the easy way out by ending his life with a suicide. In my opinion Werther was too negative. He should have looked at his opportunities from the brighter side and believe in himself. If you believe you can achieve!

Personal opinion I believe that Jane Austen tries to say that we should not judge the book by its cover and that we should look in the person's character deeper. I think that she has excellently achieved her purpose. The book is really well-written, the writing is effective and beautiful. She writes with great clarity and precision, and fills the dialogues with irony, making many characters reveal their foolishness to the reader through their ridiculous comments. Generally the characters are vivid and believable. The book is both humorous and deeply serious. Humour can be found everywhere in the book, in it's character descriptions, imagery, but mostly in it's conversations between

He was a hunter and had a very strong character. He was responsible for the survival. They both completed each other. In my opinion the book was very enchanting and beautiful. The way the author describes Alaska, is very magical, because she has lived there her whole life. When I was reading the book I felt like I had been to Alaska, the writer really knows how to use the right adjectives to make the reader feel the cold and dark Alaskan winter. In my view, the book achieved its goal perfectly. The author knew exactly what kind of a message she wanted to bring to the reader and I believe that she succeeded. One specific point, which left me a bit confused was Fauna, the snow girl. I still can not understand how and why she woke up and became a real person. I guess this is the fact, which makes this book special, but I would have liked the book more if the author would have added a story about how she woke up. In general it was book that
