kasutata. Neid esineb ainult luuletustes. Antiikkirjandustest saab ka häid ideid ja mõtteterasid, näiteks "There is the heat of Love, the pulsing rush of Longing, the lover's whisper, irresistible--magic to make the sanest man go mad."-Homeros "Ilias." Läbi nende mõtteterada saab väljendada oma emotsiooni lihtsamalt ning samas on nendes ka tõetera, mis paneb pikaks mõtlema, mis selle taga võib peituda. Üldkokkuvõttes on antiikkirjandus mõjutanud õhtumaade kultuuri palju. Antiikkirjandust saab kasutada igal pool, kuna neid saab seostada tänapäevaga. Eluolu on küll erinev, aga kuna antiikajal kirjutati väga palju armastusest, sõdadest ja

Lenis plosives have less intraoral pressure than fortis ones. The difference is easily noticed in the English pair "touched" vs. "judged" (said in isolation). The final consonants are pronounced without vocal fold vibration in both cases. But the fricative component of the affricate in "touched" is much noisier (more turbulent) than that of the affricate in "judged". This is presumably because in devoiced lenis obstruents the vocal folds adopt the ‘whisper’ position, i.e. are narrowed, unlike the wide open position that they adopt for fortis obstruents. This reduces the flow of air and therefore reduces the amount of turbulence. SIL International. 1997. LinguaLinks Library. Fight Club - Book review

The narrator has multiple personality disorder. Although he has realized it, Tyler is still there, so he puts a gun in his mouth and pulls the trigger in attempt to kill Tyler. He wakes up at a mental institute, thinking he's dead and he describes the place as it's heaven: the manager is described as god, the workers as angels. There is no sign of Tyler. Some of the workers are also members of fight club and they occasionally whisper things like "we look forward to getting you back" or "we miss you, Mr. [Tyler] Durden" while passing by him. 4. Climb up 259 steps into the lower part of the dome and if you whisper on one side of the gallery, someone can hear it on the other side. Go even higher to the Golden Gallery, also on the exterior of the dome. You will have to climb 530 steps to see panoramic views across London from this, the smallest of the Cathedral's galleries. The Great Organ is the third largest in the UK and was installed in the Cathedral in 1695. The outer case is by Grinling Gibbons. In the North Quire Aisle you can see a sculpture of Mother and Child by Henry Moore.

A lamb to the slaughter

But there needn't really be any fuss. I hope not anyway. It wouldn't be very good for my job." Her first instinct was not to believe any of it, to reject it all. It occurred to her that perhaps he hadn't even spoken, that she herself had imagined the whole thing. Maybe, if she went about her business and acted as though she hadn't been listening, then later, when she sort of woke up again, she might find none of it had ever happened. "I'll get the supper," she managed to whisper, and this time he didn't stop her. When she walked across the room she couldn't feel her feet touching the floor. She couldn't feel anything at all- except a slight nausea and a desire to vomit. Everything was automatic now - down the steps to the cellar, the light switch, the deep freeze, the hand inside the cabinet taking hold of the first object it met. She lifted it out, and looked at it. It was wrapped in paper, so she took off the paper and looked at it again. A leg of lamb.

The third cathedral was built the same year the second burned down. It was built of stone and it took about 200 years to finish it. This cathedral was destroyed in the Great Fire. Sir Christopher Wren rebuilt it in 1675-1708. During the World War II it was damaged a bit. The Dome of St. Paul's is 111 metres high. It consists of 2 domes, one inside the other. The Nave is the main hall of the cathedral. The Whispering Gallery runs around the inner dome. It gets its name because even a whisper can be heard all around it. "If he's paralyzed from the neck down, he can't go to the prom, either," I muttered, refining my plan. Edward sighed, and finally opened his eyes. "Better?" "Not really." I waited, but he didn't speak again. He leaned his head back against the seat, staring at the ceiling of the car. His face was rigid. "What's wrong?" My voice came out in a whisper. "Sometimes I have a problem with my temper, Bella." He was whispering, too, and as he stared out the window, his eyes narrowed into slits. "But it wouldn't be helpful for me to turn around and hunt down those..." He didn't finish his sentence, looking away, struggling for a moment to control his anger again. "At least," he continued, "that's what I'm trying to convince myself." "Oh." The word seemed inadequate, but I couldn't think of a better response. We sat in silence again

It seems to me to show an abominable sort of conceited independence, a most country-town indifference to decorum." "It shows an affection for her sister that is very pleasing," said Bingley. "I am afraid, Mr. Darcy," observed Miss Bingley in a half whisper, "that this adventure has rather affected your admiration of her fine eyes." A short pause followed this speech, and Mrs. Hurst began again: "I have an excessive regard for Miss Jane Bennet, she is really a very sweet girl, and I wish with all my heart she were well settled.
