Dorian can be forever beautiful but is it worth it? Dorian realizes that he cannot be young forever and wishes that the portrait would age not him but he does not think about the consequence. Lord Henry points out that Dorian cannot be beautiful and young forever and Dorian wishes that the painting would age not him.
