Trip to Hungary

Dear Chris, I'm sorry I didin't write to you sooner, but we've been really busy. Hungary is the place where I went recently. I went to Hungary in last summer. I came in Hungary with my family. We were there 8days. I packed my suitcase and made a list of things to take. Also I looked for information about the place. These were my preparations for the trip. I remember about the trip that we travelled by ship in the Danube and we swam in thermal bath. I was sunbathing too, but very few because the weather was quite cloudy. I did a lot of pictures. I want to show them to you, when you come visit me. The souvenirs I bought were two or three necklaces and bracelet. For my granny I bought a wine from wine plantation and a marzipan figure from the marzipan museum. I don't remember all the sights I saw in Hungary anymore, but the interesting places were Hungary are old bastions, castle and also thermal baths in Budabest.

A Storm at Sea

He realized that the storm is not far from them. A minute later they found themselves in the middle of the storm. Huge waves were crashing and the boat was rocking from side to side as thunder rolled across the sky. They were extremely scared. They understanded that they were in huge danger, so Tony radioed for help. Just then a bolt of lightning struck the boat and the mast burst into flames. Tony said ,,We can't save the boat, but we can save our lives". They jumped into the water and swam to the life raft. As they climbed into the life raft they saw the boat sink slowly. When the men heard the sound of a boat, they were waving and hoping that the coast guards will see them. Paul, Tony and Jason were lucky to be alive. They felt relieved that it was all over. Who would have thought that their holiday would end this way.

angry because all the players were arguing for hedgehogs. Right in the beginning Alice had a problem when she fell down the hole and found herself in the room full of doors but one door was very small. Then she saw a key for the small door which led to a beautiful garden on the table but the table was too high. Soon she saw a piece of cake. Alice ate that and got very tall and took the little key from the table but now she is too tall to get through the door. She began to cry and soon she swam in a pool of tears. Suddenly the White Rabbit led her to forest. Alice met there the Caterpillar who recommended to eat a mushroom. One side of the mushroom makes her taller and one smaller. Alice found a door and she was back in the room full of doors. She took the key from table, unlocked the door, ate one side of the mushroom, got smaller and went through the door. Somerset Maugham "French Joe" kokkuvõte!!

Thiers, for 6 weeks. After that he was sentenced to 5 years in New Caledonia. He was really angry when he talked about the Uhlans, even though it happened a half century ago. He wished he was shot instead of put in prison. He was a political prisoner but he was treated like vulgar criminal. After that came the long journey in sailing ship with prisoners, the ship out in Melbourne, one of the officers (fellow-Corsican) enabled him to slip over the side. He swam ashore and went straight to the police station, where no one could understand him. They sent a translator to help him out, his dripping papers were examined and he was told that as long as he didn't set door on a French ship he was safe – Freedom! He was crying when he told him that. He start living the life: he cooked, taught French, swept streets, worked in the gold mines, starved, and then travelled to New Guinea. In New Guinea he was a king of a wild tribe

Sea and sunbathes, that is what we look forward to every summer. Hotels at the large seaside towns are rather expensive, so we usually go camping. Last year we spent our holidays in a camp. Each day was full of small joys. We swam in the sea, lay in the sun, played different games and had a wonderful time. We lived there for about a month. The time passed very quickly. It was a wonderful holiday. Questions: 1. Is it a great pleasure to have a rest after a whole year of hard work or study? 2. Do people dislike traveling during their summer holidays? 3. How do other people prefer to spend their summer holidays? 4. How do you prefer to spend your summer holidays? Vocabulary: in my opinion -- to depend on --
